THEN CONTRACTS THE WORK IF DELIVERING PARCELS TO PARCEL SUB-CONTRCTORS. I LIVE IN SA9 AREAS IN SOUTH-WALES. IN COMPLETE FAIRNESS. THE SUB-CONTRACTOR. SAID I CAN TAKE THIS PACKAGE BACK. AS THE SUB-CONTRACTIR DRIVER. MUST HAVE RESCUED THIS DAMAGED AND FRAGILE. CARDBOARD DELIVEREY FROM A MULTI NATIONAL GARDEN PLANT SUPPLIER IN THE U.K. THE PLANTS I KEPT IN GOOD FAITH. WHOEVER SHIPPED THESE PARCELS TO A DELIVEREY HUB HAD NO THOUGHT?. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. I KNOW WHISTL PROBABLY GUARANTEED SAFE DELIVERIES OF FRAGILE PLANTS? What a joke you are, how you’re still in business is beyond me! I still haven’t received my parcel that should of been delivered days ago!!!!
What a shambles, why do clients use Whistl? It seems all they do is nothing. They receive parcels from clients, hold onto tgem for 4 /5 days then pass it to Royal mail to delivery. Trying to get info is is a joke.
Everything went fine, after reading customer reviews on trustpilot was very apprehensive about delivery arriving at all so I am happy to say I was very happy with service provided.
I frequently order and despatch items using a variety of courier companies. DPD, Hermes, Yodel, UPS and Royal Mail individually collect, transport and deliver an item, providing online tracking and reasonable customer service. What they do NOT do is start the process then hand the item to a different company - in my case Royal Mail - to finish the job and make the delivery. Whistl! seems to do this, which makes them a pointless organisation and confuses exactly which delivery service has your items, where they are and who is responsible for them. I will avoid Whistl! in the future and advise companies I do business with to do likewise.
Having ordered several items from various firms recently l am appalled by the behaviour of Whistl. On no occasion did they deliver when promised and had the audacity to blame Royal mail or the supplier for their failures.
Whistl informed me that my parcel was being delivered via Hermes, so who to blame? Plants arrived today , replacement for previously damaged ones, by yes! same couriers battered and half dead Driver today was polite but did not see that the box had 'right way up ' arrows on it - also he knocked on the door and told me to be careful as the compost was leaking out of the box .. ..... I do not understand why the companies selling the plants are using these couriers , they do not deserve the business , avoid at all costs
I am trying to find what had happened with my parcel which supposed to be delivered between 11-15th June. I called the other day, a men answered and redirected my call to parcel department. Then I get disconnected. No mater how many times I called after, I get the same message: Extension number 6889 is busy. I called again today. A lady named Jane answer. She did the same procedure as her colleague the other day and yet again I've been disconnected. Pointless to mention that the extension 6889 is busy all the time. I am not able to get in touch with someone. I am wondering what shall I do? Can they play like this all the time? Shame.
Arrived a day early undamaged, pleasant driver. Couldn't ask for more.
Hello. I accidentally sent a parcel back to whistl in Bedford. I phoned this morning to see if it was there. A lady put me through to the parcel/package department and a woman there took my Royal Mail tracking number. She then put the phone down, or I got cut off. So I call back, I speak to the first woman again (ext number 6889) and ask to be put through to the parcel department again as I had been cut off. Then she put the phone down on me. So I call again, and get out through to answerphone. And again. Answerphone. Shocking customer service. I need my question answering! I need to rectify it but no one will answer the phone to me, what terrible customer service.
This is my second review of Whistl After my first review I was contacted for further information I provided this information (2 tracking numbers) exactly a week ago I have heard nothing back from them Another customer services fail
Package has been in 'delivery attempt' status for couple of days. I contacted the hotline to find out which local courier company will deliver my package to Slovakia. Answer from hotline: We will take a look into it, and contact you by email. No response. Couple days later, status changed to 'delivered', but I received nothing. Hotline (contacted 3rd time) could not give my any adequate information e.g. which local company has been used to deliver, any depot locations. Top of everything was that while typing my reply operator closed the chat. Worst customer service ever.
Anyone who has a legitimate business should not use this service. They will gain no status because they have no customer service ethic. They clearly at present are employing people who have dubious ideas about what their job is. You are supposed to deliver the parcels, not keep them. I do not say this as a person who uses their service as a business, but as someone who has bought from very reliable companies who's parcels simply disappear as soon as they are entrusted to them. Shame on you Whistl Actually if you care Whistl I will give you the reference for my parcel which was put into your hands at the very beginning of June and has never moved according to you.
A company that uses Hermes as their final delivery company must be totally lacking in consideration of the market place. Most of the negative feedback for T&M probably comes from their use of this company. Look up the feedback for Whistl and Hermes and reflect on where you are going wrong.
I received a notification my parcel was delayed but I didn't know what company the order was placed with. The Live Chat function was great to contact someone quickly but that is where the positives end. The operated was vague, unhelpful and couldn't tell me: 1) Why the parcel was delayed or what the delay was 2) The company that the parcel is from but could tell me it will be delivered tomorrow. Not holding my breath. Whenever I find out the mystery sender I will be advising them to AVOID this company for courier. Appreciate delays can't always be helped but there should be an expectation to inform customers why.
Ordered from Amazon.co.uk, order was with Lighting and Mobile Accessories and was going to be delivered by Whistl. Order never turned up but whilst trying to find out where it was I encountered Whistl. They don’t answer emails and don’t seem to want to talk to you either. Got through to tracking on the phone, gave my number and asked what does “delay in delivery due to external factors” mean? Got cut off. Rang back 3 times and couldn’t get through to reception again to put me through to tracking. Went to complain on their website and guess what? No where to do that! 3 companies all treating the customer like crap. Good luck with that!!
Terrible, my six year old son asked if he could spend his pocket money on the Beano summer special which I ordered and it was dispatched quickly. I checked the tracking this morning which showed it out for delivery. I returned from work at twenty past one this afternoon and I have checked the tracking which says it was delivered at one thirty four. Considering both my wife and I were in the house I think we would have noticed a delivery driver. I now have a very upset son who can't understand why someone would say they had delivered something but haven't. Honestly for a company who claim to be a market leader in their field this is woeful.
Awful. They do not have any means of contact via twitter. yet they seem to spend time consulting on best customer service. Their posts on twitter never get comments from customers who actually experience the service. Today I have been expecting a delivery and have followed status updates. It now shows the item I ordered through Amazon has been delivered. It certainly has not been delivered. So its a company that primarily should be about customer communication and delivering parcels. It has not done either with competence - so it is quite right that 1 stars should be given.
Similar to previous post plants from Thompson and Morgan wilted from delay and I order never arrived. Appalling service.

Jul 10,2020I got a dodgy looking email from apparently Whistl. No logos or anything, and a weird reference number. I assumed it was fake and went to whistl to try and figure it out without clicking any links. But what even if this company? Their website is confusing I thought it was recruitment. Takes a while to navigate to tracking. You should probably keep these separate. Business and customer. They apparently have no email and I'm not going to call up for what looks like a spoof email. But I have no idea at this point. I'll just see if a package turns up. Update: Same as everyone else. They gave it to royal mail to deliver. Making my delivery longer than usual
