Cancelled order by Woolovers, no reason given. Item was in stock when ordered.
Meine Bestellung wurde ohne weitere Begründung storniert. Auf der Website ist das Produkt weiterhin erhältlich. für die automatische Antwort ("ist uns komplett egal, was jemand schreibt") würde ich gerne noch einen Stern abziehen.
Der Versand, so steht es, wäre von Frankfurt aus. Tatsächlich aber aus England. Das verzögert Alles ungemein. Die Ware ist seit 3 von 10 Tagen im Zoll und wartet dort. Antworten auf meine Fragen via Email an den Verkäufer werden nicht beantwortet. Ware aus England kaufe ich nie wieder! Und dem Kunden zu suggerieren, dass die Ware aus Frankfurt kommt ist schlichtweg Täuschung
Do not waste your time and money. I placed an order 3 weeks ago. There is no order number to track delivery information. I called customer service and after 2 weeks they just created an order and told me that it would be the next day delivery. After 4 days I called them again to find out that jumper was out of stock. Hopefully they refund.
I had an entirely abysmal experience with WoolOvers over their policy of using customer credit as their own. There should be no stars, and negative ratings to excuse such criminality. I placed two orders with WoolOvers Ltd. on Monday 09/12/24 for four items that were presents. The orders were confirmed by email and WoolOvers charged my credit card immediately on 09/12/24. There were no indications when the two orders would ship. One item was marked to be dispatched on 30 December 2024. WoolOvers Ltd thereby used my credit card as their own, and had free credit, from my Barclaycard. This policy is unfair and unethical at best, and represents creative accounting. It is a way of swelling a company's balance sheet at someone else's expense. It should be illegal in the UK, if it actually is not so already. Credit card issuers inform consumers to report such practices and encourage reporting unfair trading for their Disputes procedures. WoolOvers staff maintain that my refunds will be credited to my Barclaycard in the next five working days, from the day I "unreasonably" complained, 11 Dec 2024, thus gaining almost 180 GBP of credit for 7 days, gratis - doing 0 Nil Zilch naught. If a company does this to many consumers/customers it is into big money. One of those businesses governments of all colours support.
Il reste 3 jours avant que je reçoive ma commande. Enfin j imagine, on commande, on pais puis après on imagine..... Pour faire suite à votre réponse, je m explique : j'ai commandé et payé le 7, depuis pas de nouvelles, vous déclarez livraison en 5, 6 jours ouvrés .donc je déduis que je l aurais maintenant dans 2 jours. Sinon remboursement de 130 €, voire même selon la loi le double.
We received a brochure yesterday. Of the 5 items we would have ordered 3 were already out of stock, and when we telephoned after trying to order on line this was not only confirmed but the salesperson could give no indication of when or if the items might be available. Total waste of time! We will not be even looking at their brochures in future.
I have been using WoolOvers for years and am happy with the quality and the deliveries. The reason for the 4 star review is the last couple of interactions I have had with a member of the sales team when I have phoned in an order. I don't expect the staff member to be full of the joys of spring but I do expect friendly service. I found their manner abrupt and impatient and it didn't make for a happy interaction. Perhaps they were having a bad day but I have had the same experience with this staff member before.
Impossible de consulter mes commandes sur le site. Pas de numéro de suivi sur le mail pour savoir où est mon colis. Je n'ai reçu qu'un pull sur les deux que j'avais acheté, je me suis bien fait avoir par une promo car à la base je n'en voulais qu'un. Je suis dégoûté. J'ai déjà écrit un avis, on me dit de transmettre le numéro de commande et qu'on va m'aider mais pas de destinataire pour l'envoyer, c'est n'importe quoi... J'écris donc un deuxième avis négatif... The products were very good, but considering the price, I would have to agree with another reviewer in that I would have expected the goods to be made in England from high quality British wool. What I was really annoyed about was how the products were delivered. Woolovers use Evri, so if you do you not want to be disappointed, do not use Woolovers unless they change delivery company. The parcel was simply thrown over the fence such that it could have been swept up by the cleaner or taken by another person.
I bought a couple of Woolover jumpers at a country show about 10 years ago. They were great; very finely knitted and stayed smooth, no pilling. When they finally wore out I bought some more from Woolovers' website. The cashmere jumper is 'as expected' but the wool ones are very disappointing. The knit is now coarser and pilling starts from about Day 4. They sent a replacement but it's no better. It's only 3 weeks old but looks 3 years old already. So why the fall in quality? Well possibly because Woolovers was taken over by a venture capital company and the products are imported from Cambodia. They don't tell you that. Another thing (and it's why I'm here now) - is that when Woolovers invite you to review the item you're first asked what you like about the item. Then you click continue to go to the next page to add more info, but - oh look! - it's submitted. You just submitted a good review. I find that deceptive. I was in Primark last week and found a very nice warm jumper (felt like wool but wasn't) for just £16. So I don't think I'll be using Woolovers again at £59 for a Cambodian import. For that price I expect it to be made in England from English wool.
Ordered expensive slippers in October 2024 which were falling apart after just three weeks of wear. I emailed Woolovers with the details of my complaint, including numerous photos of the various issues, and they said they would accept a return and send me a pre-paid returns label. After a week I had not received the returns label, so I emailed them again asking them to send it. They didn't reply or send the label so I raised a case with the PayPal Buyer Protection scheme which found in my favour and refunded me the cost. Furthermore, I left a negative review for the slippers on the Woolovers website, but it was never published. This undermines the credibility of their customer reviews and completely erodes consumer trust. Avoid them!
I have just placed an order with Woolovers and was very disappointed with the attitude of the woman I was connected to. She was brusque, impatient and most unfriendly - in fact she sounded to be quite bored and tired with her job. Certainly not the kind of first line response one expects.
Bestellung online, der (noch geltende!) Rabattcode ließ sich zwar eingeben, wurde jedoch nicht in der Summe angezeigt. Der Rabatt wurde auch nicht an der Endsumme abgezogen. Ergebnis: die volle Summe wurde meiner Karte belastet. Der angeschriebene Kundendienst hat bisher nicht reagiert. Stornieren ließ sich der Kauf auch nicht mehr. Sehr ärgerlich... Nachtrag: Rabatt wurde nachträglich berücksichtigt, vielen Dank !!
Statt der bestellten Ware (Herren-Strickjacke in XXL) wurde ein nicht bestellter und dazu noch viel zu kleiner Pullover geliefert. Dieser wurde heute zurück geschickt.
Ordered 2 pullovers followed your sizing chart. They were far too large - at shoulders and length suggest you recheck your measurements. See M &S and Joseph Turner sizes. Would recommend for 1st time customers you make postage free it would certainly make me consider using you again. Paying over £6 to return items as a potential customer or (£3 to buy your label) is e excessive
I wish to amend a previous review where I complained about lack of communication and asked where my jumpers were. Well jumpers received thankyou, 1 returned and refund issued very quickly. Thank you.
I wouldn’t even give one star if I could. Do not buy from them. They haven’t delivered, have no record of the item I bought. They aren’t helpful at all. SCAM. Stay away
This is the first time I have ordered from Woolover and the quality is excellent. Ordered several items and I am particularly impressed with the 100% wool scarf. Lovely thick material. The cashmere poncho is unfortunately a bit too short for me but the merino/cashmere one is perfect. Will definitively order from this company again. Evri was also excellent. Very fast delivery.
