Nov 29,2024I had a really bad experience with the rental company Record Go at Barcelona airport and had to pay a considerable amount of money for existing damage to the car. A direct complaint letter did not help, even with correct supporting evidence. However, Zest offered to support me and they managed to get me a full refund of the extra money that I was forced to pay. Zest were polite, understanding, supportive and helpful. Customer service like this is rare these days. Highly recommended!

Nov 27,2024Very accessible website, really user friendly language and appropriately informative. Very good at telling you the stages of hiring a car, giving you a good choice and very good prices. Very clear on avoiding unnecessary insurance. And then when you do need to claim against insurance they are absolutely excellent in helping, reassuring and making sure you know exactly what's going on and the payment made as soon as approved. I've already recommended all over the place. Zest: excellence.

Nov 27,2024The website is rigged. It changed our booking from 5 days to 1 day and charged us the same amount. A bad surprise when I got to the booking desk on holiday and had to fork out a few hundred pounds to pay for the rest of the days. Horrible. Use this website with caution.

Nov 26,2024The communication from Zest was excellent throughout the process of ordering, collecting and returning the car. I took their top up insurance, which Europcar immediately recognised so they didn't attempt to sell me any additional cover. The vehicle from Europcar was exactly as described, and brand new. Collection and return at Cape Town airport was smooth and easy. Top marks for both value for money and customer service, I will definitely use Zest again.

Nov 25,2024Really great service by helpful friendly staff. Our flight arrived after 22.00hrs and a lovely guy was there to meet and shuttle us, easy to book in. Good car, very cheap rental. We would always use Zest to book our hire cars, they choose reliable companies for the hire. Quite easy to find when taking the car back - (note: google on my android worked fine, my daughter's iPhone didn't!) Note, our car had a function to keep you in the lane - don't use it! It has the symbol like this: /@\ - it physically takes over steering and tries to put you into the inside lane, very dangerous when you're overtaking!! Press and hold the symbol on the steering wheel for a few seconds until it goes orange.

Zest provides a number of car rental options, I chose Master Kings and found the booking, pick up and drop off hassle free with absolutely no added insurance or upgrade sales pressure you can sometimes get with the bigger main line companies. I definitely recommend Zest Car Rental and will have no problem using them in the future.

Nov 25,2024Faultless service - as usual - from booking to returning vehicle. I have been using Zest and their Faro Airport partner Drive4Fun for several years now. Would go nowhere else. Everything is smooth and relaxed, no sales pressure etc and vehicles always spotless and in great nick. Booked a Corsa automatic this time for 11 days in November for £81 all in! I kid you not. And then they upgraded us FREE at no request to an automatic Skoda Karoq which was pristine. Will be back again - as usual.

They're clear on extra local charges that may be applicable (tolls, fuel surcharges etc) and the extra insurance is added peace of mind, ensureing a hassle free experience with the local provider so you don't feel under pressure to take out their own extortionate insurance. I haven't been in a position yet where I've had to make a claim, but I would expect that to be straight forwards too.

What I like most is that you pay a small extra amount and you know that absolutely everything is covered by insurance. Normally insurance is a nightmare with care hire. On the one occasion I had to claim, there was no problem in being paid

Nov 21,2024On line booking was easy and full details were given as the vehicle specification etc. Paid deposit when booking and balance just before travel dates, which gave reassurance. Paid for the extra optional insurance cover at time of booking, which was not expensive and gave added assurance. Collection of vehicle at destination was very efficient with no pressure to take out any extra covers etc. Vehicle was as selected and in good overall condition. Return of vehicle was a seamless experience.
