Nov 19,2024Rented a car for a trip to South Africa and Zest were great at managing the booking pre-rental as the dates needed to change twice due to travel plans shifting. Unfortunately, it all went downhill from there. The car rental agent in SA had never seen a Zest voucher before and tried to charge me for the whole rental at the counter. However, managed to persuade them that I had paid for it in full already. Dropped the car back at the rental desk with a full tank and no damage, confirmed by the rental agent. The next day, I received a £140 charge on my credit card from the rental company. Contacted Zest who did reply and tried for four weeks to contact the rental company in SA but got nowhere, however, were adamant they couldn't do anything until they heard back regardless of how long that would take. As this was now a month after the rental ended and I was still £140 out of pocket, I resorted to raising a dispute via the credit card provider. The whole experience post-rental has been a lot of stress and hassle so, unfortunately, won't be using Zest again.

Nov 18,2024Found these guys good to deal with - their site automatically includes a lot of covers automatically - the covers you are not famiiar with and only realise when you get to the Car hire desk counter . Also their optioal additional add insurance like Breakdown , Tyres and Windscreen are really important inclusions that you can buy on site and not at the Car hire counter where you can often get ambushed . Very pleased with this site and would use in the future . Also had to cancel one of my bookings and my refund was processed very quickly

Nov 17,2024The process of booking car hire with Zest, from start to finish is a simple process. On line selection and pricing is highly competitive. All cars for hire are in excellent condition, no bangers. On site pickup and return at Faro airport is simple as the airport car park isn`t the largest so you cant get lost. Come out the airport with your luggage on a trolley, turn left and head for P4 car hire office, 2 minutes walk and your there.

Nov 16,2024This was my first rental and was wary because all the negative comments you often hear about renting cars. We used Folirent in Palermo. Everything was done with ease. I did pay for the extra insurance with zest. I wasn't pressured sold extra insurance when I collect my rental car (I would recommend getting the extra insurance with Zest or the rental company you use) We were collected from airport within 15 minutes and the office was only 5 minutes away. Collection did take about a hour, with sorting out paperwork and going through the car etc. No problems with the car during the trip and drop off was super quick. Dropped off car at 8am and we were at the airport by 8.12am. I would 100% recommend Zest and use Folirent again.

Nov 16,2024We chose Zest as it was a Which recommended provider. They provide the car hire insurance and act as broker for the car rental. The rental company we chose was Drivalia at Gatwick Airport. The attendant was friendly and efficient, the whole process was very quick. The car was in good condition with only minor scuffs on the exterior, it had done 25,000 miles. The Inside was clean and tidy. We didn’t experience any problems with the car and the return handover was equally quick and efficient. The rental company took a £1,500 security deposit via my credit card, this was removed within 3 days of my returning the car. Using Zest we paid with insurance approximately the amount the rental company would have charged us for the car alone.

Nov 16,2024Car rental pick up at Alicante airport with Topgear Mobility. Excellent service. Pick up and return of rental car just outside entrance to departures. Virtually no waiting time. No deposit required. Fully comprehensive insurance with Zest. I was able to enjoy driving the rental car without fearing that I would have to pay outrageous sums of money for small scratches. Would definitely recommend Zest and Topgear Mobility for anyone thinking about hiring a car at Alicante airport

Nov 15,2024Easy to use service which makes booking car rental much simpler. Most of the car rental sites are horrible to use directly, so Zest's package of an easy to use booking process and comprehensive insurance is a much better experience. I'd suggest printing the voucher out to take to the rental desk when you arrive at your destination.
