Jul 02,2024I have used Zest many times and always found them to be competitive, with a large choice of rental providers. Each experience has been positive & straightforward. I also appreciated the excellent customer service when I had to make last minute changes due to a flight cancellation.

Jul 02,2024This is my 2nd Holiday in which I hired a car. Last year was through car Flexi. Everytime I looked up car hire in Faro,,car Flexi website appears. The company was EPI. I had no problem's. All went well. But this year I was a bit more switched on as to find the best deal. For six months I booked cars, but in reading reviews, even though I was saving a few Euros I wasn't happy with what I was reading. long waits at airport for pick up, hassle with car hire companies on picking up or returning car so I cancelled them again. Then I stumbled upon Zest. Checked reviews..then looked up class of car I was after. Couldn't believe it, in fact I emailed them to see if it was correct before booking. They confirmed everything with me and all done with in 30mins. No nonsense, no stress. I had to pay full amount up front which suited me, they sent me email of voucher for EPI car rental in Faro. That was it, sit back. But the best part is I went for the full Zero deductions insurance. So that meant when I got to EPI I didn't have to give a deposit on my credit card. Just paid 18 euro for road toll tag. As everyone knows, that freed up my credit card in case I needed it on my holiday. Absolutely brilliant. Then the car I hired was a Peugeot 2008 petrol. Every other company was around E520 (plus) for this car. I got it from Zest, as I said, full insurance zero deductions and no deposit for E401. Again, absolutely brilliant. When I got to Faro, within 20 mins we were picked up and in EPI to collect our car. I walked in, handed voucher to lovely lady and within 5 minutes I was putting cases in our car to explore Portugal. No stress..no hassle as everyone knows comes with holidays. And also with the voucher I was given contact numbers for Zest if there were any delays or problems at car company to contact them directly..piece of mind.I'm already putting one eye on next year and I will be contacting Zest to check out there deals for around the time of my holiday. I'd advise you check these out before you even look anywhere else. Beware of cowboys out there and enjoy your break

I hate the stress of having to choose between exorbitant (and highly pressurised additional insurances), or, photographing rental cars whilst scrutinising them in fine detail upon collection - and then panicking all holiday if you so much as brush up against a bush. Sound familiar? A friend recommended Zest to me, so I gave them a call and asked 'why are you different?'. The lovely call handler explained it is because they work with smaller companies that are keen to earn their referral. Therefore, those companies operate more fairly. So having booked a car at Lisbon Airport, we were met in arrivals, walked to our car. Just 10 minutes later, after we paid for petrol and a toll charger (standard fees), we were free to drive away. Simple. Upon return we were once again met in the car park, a very easy handover, and after the handler had a quick glance around, we were given assurance that everything was in order. No stress, no hassle, no crawling around the car looking for where a moth might have crash landed. We will be using Zest from now on.

Jun 30,2024Unfortunately our flight was delayed by 9 hours....and then cancelled. I called Zest twice from the airport and they were so kind and helpful. We never did go on holiday, but if we do try again, we'll definitely re-book through them. Highly recommend.

Jun 30,2024Easy to Book, good price, excellent car supplier experience (Masterking in Faro) during collection and return with none of the fuss or mucking about (and often indifference) that you get with the big name rentals (eg Avis or Europcar with whom my experience with both was awful). Have yet to receive Deposit and Toll refunds, but assume these will happen in the timeframe.

It is refreshing to work with a company that is straightforward and where all costs are clearly displayed upfront.If you call them to ask a question they answer the phone and if you send them an email they respond usually in a few hours. Jun 26,2024We always book our holiday hire car through Zest. Booking is straightforward with plenty of hire companies to choose from with competitively priced cars. We use GSP at Paphos airport where we are met by the agent, who after completing the paper work (you need driving licences and passports of all named drivers and a credit card in the driver’s name plus 15 euros if arriving late) takes us to the car, explains everything regarding the car, petrol and when returning it. We have always found the car to be in good condition, clean and well serviced.

Jun 26,2024I rented a car with zest in Greece and it was a very poor experience. They connected me with an EXTREMELY poorly rated local rental agency, which I didn’t realize until the day I was supposed to pick up my car, and when I had issues they were completely unhelpful in remedying them. I specifically picked an in town pick up for my car, not the airport location, and when I arrived at the location (after walking to it for about 30 mins) the office was no where to be found. After getting in contact with the agency they informed me (with horrible customer service) that I had to pick it up at the airport location, even tho I had a completely different pick up location on my contract. Zest was deeply unhelpful in remedying it and I had to go through my credit card company to get a refund. Would not recommend. Just find a local, well rated agency.
