Oct 29,2019I used Zicasso for a trip to New Zealand earlier this year. We were very happy with the agent and the services. So when my family, there will be 7 of us decided to go to Switzerland I contacted Zicasso again, thinking some great help would be on the way. I was shocked to be informed twice, that unless we were willing to spend $31,000 for the 9 days while in Switzerland, it would not be worth their time to help us. What a shock. When I had found the comany last year, I had understood it was founded to help make traveling affordable and localized by using a local agents model. I can't say how much this has changed my opinion of Zicasso. I will no longer refer anyone to them. We were mainly looking for lodging and a few tours. Very bummed.

Oct 29,2019These guys were great. They put.together a 2 week trip for us, custom made for the things that WE wanted to see. They were helpful, patient and flexible. And then when we got to our destination, the guides were awesome. They were knowledgeable and informative. Everything was done the way we wanted to do it, and with their guidance. We can't wait to go back!

Oct 19,2019My wife and I went on our fourth customized trip through Zicasso, and as always, we were extremely pleased. They directed us to Unlimited Croatia, where we planned a personalized trip through Croatia, starting in Zagreb and ending in Dubrovnik. Yelena from Unilimited was with us all the way, and her attention to detail and our ability to contact her through the trip made it almost flawless. We spend 12 days in Croatia and enjoyed the people, hotels, food, tours and guides and would have changed very little. We loved the hotel in Hvar-Hotel Dea- the two cousins that owned the hotel couldn't have been more accommodating and sweet. Our favorite part was the cooking in Konavle at a private farm and the oysters in Ston. Zicasso- bravo again.

We spent 10 nights on our honeymoon in Greece and the trip was customized perfectly for us and the most memorable trip we have had. I would recommend anyone to use Zicasso when looking for a unique and well thought vacation.

Oct 18,2019We planned a trip to the south of Portugal wishing to combine hiking, wineries, culinary experiences and history and culture. We had already travelled the area of Lisbon north to the Douro, Porto, and Sintra. The itinerary planned by our agent was the perfect combination of hiking and non-hiking experiences. The hikes were amazing and I highly recommend both the Fisherman’s Trail and The Seven Hanging Valleys. The choice of hotels met our preferences perfectly - small luxury boutique hotels. If you are planning a trip to the Algarve and want to experience the rural hills by 4x4 Jeep I would suggest a half day tour. We did the full day but once we had lunch there was really no further new sights after lunch. If you hike the Seven Hanging Valleys then you should also explore the ocean by kayak below the hiking trail. It gives you a great perspective. All of the wineries we visited in Alentejo were great wineries and our cooking class at JPRamos winery was a fun experience. The villages of Alentejo give you a glimpse into the history and culture of Alentejo.

Oct 17,2019We had a superb trip to Spain and Zicasso was awesome in facilitating it. They interviewed us thoroughly to see where we wanted to go, what our travel preferences were in terms of hotels, pace, and locations to visit, and budget constraints if any. They matched us with a travel specialist who worked tirelessly to design an itinerary we were comfortable with. I think we had 6 drafts before we were done. And then a few weeks before we left we received all our flight tickets, entry tickets to sites, guide information and more. We received contact information of a local specialist who kept in touch daily and who we could contact 24/7 for any issues that came up. For the most part our trip proceeded like clockwork. There were a couple of instances however that made me hesitate to give 5 stars. In one case the ticket type for a site was wrong and we had to stand outside in the heat for 1 1/2 hours to get it straightened out. Also the car portion of the trip was in our opinion rushed and unrealistic, not allowing for parking time, getting lost, traffic, and the treacherous and windy roads. Our Zicasso agent was always apologetic, worked things out to our satisfaction, and changed guide arrangements a couple of times when we requested. Regardless of those, we would not hesitate to recommend Zicasso and will contact them again for our next trip.

Oct 16,2019I am telling everyone I know about Zicasso. We wanted to book a trip to Italy to visit our daughter who was studying there for the semester. We had been to Italy before and done all of the tourist-y sites and this time wanted to relax in some nice hotels and see the lesser-known sites. I discovered Zicasso on the internet and thought I would try it. They paired us with a travel agency based right in Tuscany, where we wanted to stay. The travel agent prepared an amazing itinerary for us that we loved. Well, we just came back from Italy and it was our most amazing trip ever. All of the hotels we stayed in were top-rate with the best service, all of our drivers were professional and never made us wait, and the places we visited were so amazing we can't wait to go back. I will definitely use Zicasso for all of our vacations!

The most thorough, detailed, and easy group I have ever worked with in any scenario, personal or professional. The hotels, tours, destination spots could not have been better. We discussed what areas we wanted to go, but they did all the rest. Great trip and not my last using them.

We’ve been on group tours (including a couple of luxury tours) but nothing compares to the luxury tour that they lined up for us at no more cost for a longer time. All this happened when I chose Germany as my destination. The tour company contacted me and after a few conversations they were able to plan an outstanding 17-day, 2000km trip. I will use Zicasso again the next time I want to tour a country that interests us.

Oct 11,2019Zicasso referred us to an excellent agent that planned our four week trip to Spain and Portugal. Their referral, Weave a Thousand Journeys, owned by Devaki Das, was perfect in many aspects. It is not often that while traveling abroad you have a travel agency maintaining a constant watch over you with diligence and commitment to ensure that the itinerary and planning you purchased is executed without a glitch. Weave a Thousand Journeys is one such exception. Devaki Das, the owner, crafted and tailored a comprehensive plan for Spain and Portugal to my wife and I’s wants and interests. It was not a textbook tourist route; ten destinations in four weeks with boutique lodging, various modes of transportation (air, rail, bus, boat), transfers, tours, and recommendations. Devaki was vigilante in staying one step if front of our itinerary confirming the services requested (numerous times we were informed by tour guides, drivers, and customer service personnel of her calling in advance to confirm our upcoming arrival). Zicasso paired us with amazing travel agents and we decided on one to help us plan our dream trip. It was amazing and both the travel agent and Zicasso checked in and helped make sure we had the trip we envisioned. I can’t imagine traveling again without starting with Zicasso.
