We are an internet based company and we rely on our emails for our new and return business. We have had problems with our emails for days now and are no closer to getting answers or having our service resumed. We feel very let down by 34sp, this is the second time in 2 months that this has happened. Not good enough
Being told to keep referring to a robot messaging service for critical updates for our emails is a joke. I can't ring up and shout at the Customer Services people as it's not their fault. How about the technical managers and IT technicans on the front line and let's see how quickly they will crumble...this needs to be resolved and provide us proper answers Asap
Emails have not been working properly now for 4 days and this is the only update available "We do not have an ETA for resolution at this point, but consider it unlikely to be completed this evening" This is having hugh implications on my business. Avoid at all costs.
We have moved to 34sp about 4 to 5 months ago, we had issues with our previous supplier ipage. The company is total sham, have been having problems with all e-mails. Then recently all e-mails gone dead. it's been 4th day now we have no e-mails. we are badly stuck with this company we would never recommend this so please ensure that you read this review. i have been sending their technical directors emails and he has no sense to apologise for this and see what he is writing, they cannot provide update as to when this issue is resolved; I have asked our support manager to post an update now, but the repopulation of the replacement drive is still ongoing. We expect this to be complete before midday tomorrow at which time full service will be restored. This is from day 2 but no progress, no answer , still no e-mails now day 5. Never use this 34sp !!
I have been with 34sp since 2008 and have no intention of leaving them. There are cheaper packages available out there, but they don't provide the level of support that 34sp give you. I have been with other hosting companies, and let them go. I have stayed with 34sp this long because they go way beyond the level of support that other hosting comanies provide, often undertaking tasks that most other companies simply will not do. The phone support is one of their best features. If things go wrong, a ‘live chat’ with a bored tech who is simply ticking the boxs is not helpful and stress making. It’s crucial to be able to talk to someone. Best hosting company I have ever been with.
I recently contacted 34sp and, as a result, corresponded with sales, accounts and technical support. All of the individuals and teams provided a friendly, efficient and professional service that seamlessly linked between them. 34SP.com is a great hosting company, I use it predominantly for webmail at the moment, however soon to be investing in a domain. The service is impeccable, I've never lost connection and the company is competitively priced. I recently had a senior moment and had to check access to my account details, the advisors at 34SP.com were quick to respond, incredibly cutreous, and also protected my account privacy, what impressed me was the non-judgemental response, and desire to help resolve the issue, especially when it was clear I had forgotten details! I've been a customer of many hosting companies over the years and I can honestly say 34sp are the best. My opinion as a customer is that I'm dealing with knowledgeable, friendly staff who really want to provide a good service. I do have occasional issues and when I do 34sp are eager to assist, even when it may not be an issue with their hosting services! I 100% recommend 34sp and I think they should be proud of the service they provide.
We've sadly been with 34sp for years, despite their email service having daily faults, to which we are never given a resolution for and are constantly told mis information, mis sold products in a bid to solve the problems which never do. No one will take responsibility for the lack of service or customer care, long drawn out phone calls to their unhelpful tech team never resolve the issues and their condescending attitude to their paying customers is disgusting. Delighted to be leaving, I would avoid this company at all costs.
After 2 years of 1&1 I encountered a problem with my emails which wasn't resolved after 2 months, and their customer service was dreadful. 34sp was recommended to me by a friend so I thought it was worth a try. I don't understand about 'nameservers' etc so 34sp patiently talked me through everything and sent extremely clear emails. I've now successfully moved my email and website itself from 1&1, and am in the process of moving the domain. 34sp are based in Manchester so speak English as their first language, which 1&1.co.uk do not. Very helpful. Oh, and FAR cheaper!
I have been with 34SP for many years now after having tried multiple other services and am still with them as I have never had any complaints. Always had superb service and very fast responses that I have no reason to switch and would recommend them in a heartbeat...
Over four or more years I've found 34SP's staff are always on the ball. Sales staff are informative, friendly and without prejudice, while the techies are a rare combination of geek and human. With zero VPS service loss and a support team that are willing to help with "Never done that before!" technical requests, I have no problem recommending 34SP.
I have been a 34sp customer for what must be nearly a decade now using them for several different types of hosting packages and domain registration. I can honestly say that I can't remember having had anything less than excellent experience with their support staff. I regularly recommend them for hosting to clients and friends.
Our charity website has been hosted problem free by 34sp for years now. I am always informed re any interruption of service due to updates and improvements. The customer care is excellent and I would recommend 34sp to anyone needing this facility.
There are companies that provide basic hosting with a lower monthly charge than 34SP which is fine until something goes wrong and then you have to wait in a queue on a premium rate phone line and you find when you get through the help comes at a high cost. In the end it costs more than 34SP. There is hosting that has a lower monthly charge than 34SP but when your customers are waiting 30 over seconds for a page to load, as with a cheaper hosting company I used in the past, you wish you'd paid that little bit more for 34SP quality hosting. I find 34SP go out of their way to help if there is a problem or even if you just need help setting something up. There are no premium rate numbers, you don't have to queue for a long time. Support tickets are responded to quickly and efficiently and you feel that you are dealing with real people, in the UK, who both have the technical skills and are happy to talk to you and help you. It is not some off-shore call centre following scripts. Compared with hosting I used in the past, 34SP are a joy to deal with and I recommend them to everyone.
As a small independent charity running a local hospital broadcasting service web site we are always pleased with the help and support 34sp give us. Not only do they allow free web hosting as we are a registered charity but they answer all our support queries without any problems. We nearly always get instant answers to our support questions when we email them across.
I truly have no idea how this company has so many positive reviews, I'm sceptical of them normally but feel compelled to write this. I had an issue setting up a new account, after 3 days, 8 emails with only 2 replies plus 3 phones call (waiting for on average 10/12 mins for anyone to answer) I cancelled the account that never emerged After said amount of emails I had a reply from a Senior Engineer to be told that they can't actually offer what they advertise on the websites, it isn't technically possible but they are looking to do it in the future. I said yes to an alternative, then... Nothing again. No email, no follow up, no communication at all and more importantly still 3 days later no VPS. When I cancelled the account the guy was very good about it and apologised, he instantly refunded the amount. He said he could see all the emails and the engineers talking about the issue. Would have it been that hard just to let me know anything, that's all I asked? It seems to me they are totalled understaffed for the business they are portraying themselves as being and haven't got they infrastructure of staff to deliver on there website promises. So be warned that if you own a business and need to know that your hosting company has your back when you have a problem and not just a good sales team look somewhere else.
I do not normally leave reviews. However in regards to 34sp.com I feel compelled to as they provide such a great service. Their customer service is the best I have encountered with regard to any business. Whether by phone or email the 34sp team are efficient, professional, patient and extremely helpful. I have previously held web hosting with various hosting companies including the likes of godaddy and 123reg and I have to say 34sp are superior in all aspects. Their control panel is extremely easy to navigate and manage. As a result I moved all my businesses domain & hosting services to 34sp. Lastly I have to commend them for what they do for charities. I was pleasantly surprised to discover they provide free web hosting to charities. As I have worked closely with a couple of charities I have taken advantage of this service and I know how much it is greatly appreciated. It shows 34sp's dedication to great customer service. I would highly recommend anyone to use 34sp for all the web services.

Everything, at some point in its life will fall over and break. Then it's all hands on deck, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week working around the clock to fix the issue. It happens. Facebook broken? The world goes insane. Reddit servers down? Total uproar. In the background there are a very hard working team of skilled engineers striving to provide excellent service and personal customer service. Of course there will be incidences when things break. Contact me direct if you want to hear how many times 34SP has saved my rep, migrated websites for me, calmed down angry customers whose websites are down (because they didn't pay for hosting) even helped my Mum with emails on her iPad - she's retired and could't believe how easy walking through a task was explained to her - all in all good guys.
