Oct 31,2024Really enjoyed our stay at Villa Imagine managed by Algarve Vacation. The villa had a lovely location on a hillside just on the outskirts of Armação de Pêra, an easy 10 min walk to the seaside and into town. The villa was great, well designed, very clean and well equipped. Very comfortable. Great pool. Very useable BBQ. Plenty of showers. The town is also lovely. Lots of places to eat, gorgeous beach with lovely evening sunsets and little bars and restaurants for a beer. Shops local and the walk along the coast was great. Great holiday! Visited by the Algarve Vacation rep on the second day to check if we needed anything. He was very friendly and helpful. We felt well looked after, many thanks for a great holiday!

Oct 30,2024The holiday itself was great. However on return we were sent an email saying we caused damage! This was a family holiday with our adult children and we did not cause any damage! However, as we did not spend our time taking pictures of what was wrong and used our time to enjoy our holiday we are being asked to pay for the damages we did not cause! I am sorry but in future we will avoid any holiday that you have links with Airbnb. Up until now I would have said 5/5 as transfers were great and I know you're not involved but it is by association I feel the whole experience is 2/5.

Oct 25,2024Great apartment, good location, very friendly, thoughtful and welcoming staff. The check-in was done by the very friendly and open Steve, who remained available via WhatsApp für any questions throughout our stay. I also spoke twice to his female colleague on the telephone - she was very friendly and even later called me to let me know that the owner of the apartment would need to enter it with the gas man to take a reading while we were out, which I found very thoughtful. A very pleasant experience all in all.

Oct 25,2024We had a nice stay, nice villa BUT they charged extra costs as a breakage claim which was not correct! They charged new price for an old and very well used sunbed that was broken. They charged the newprice for a damaged sunbed that was already broken upon arrival. They charged for 2 missing pans (we never cooked...). These people are not correct and there is notting you can do about it because you have to pay the breakage fee in advance, which they return at their own conditions...

Oct 21,2024Inez welcomed us with lots of great ideas for our time in the Algarve. The house was comfortable and the location was perfectly situated near shops, sites and transport routes. Three weeks flew by, without a hitch.

Oct 21,2024A wonderful well equiped clean villa in a great location. We particularly enjoyed the heated swimming pool and hot tub. The games room is a real plus too. Booking process very efficient transfers booked through the company were excellent. Olivia who managed the villa booking and transfers Ines who booked our trips were both excellent efficient and friendly. Hope to return again next year. Highly recommended.

Oct 21,2024Excellent 6-night stay in October 2024, in a very well located apartment (5th floor of a building with elevator) by the sea. From our balcony, we had a magnificent view of the beach, the sea and the boardwalk. The apartment was spacious and very well equipped, it lacked nothing. Lots of restaurants, bars, grocery stores and bakeries near the apartment. We had a rental car and always found a space on the street to park the vehicle when we returned from our excursions. I would return to this apartment with great pleasure. Thank you Algarve Vacation, Olivia, Ines and Maro for your precious assistance. I highly recommend Algarve vacation.

For any questions in the lead up to our trip Olivia was very responsive and accommodating. During our stay we were welcomed by Stephen who gave us some recommendations for restaurants and activities. The villa itself was perfect and well located. Will definitely be booking again

Enes was a mind of information at our welcome meeting recommending restaurants, beaches and day trips, she also checked in with us a couple of times during our holiday to see that we were doing ok. I cannot recommend this company enough they are fantastic

Oct 07,2024We booked Villa Dominica as part of a package holiday through Expedia. Once the booking was made, all communication was through Algarve Vacation who were very responsive to all messages and queries that we had. The villa is spacious and great for a group of friends or a family, and has everything you need for a pleasant holiday. All bed linens and towels were clean, as were all of the rooms, although there were some issues with areas of the kitchen which we reported to the rep. The villa is located in a quiet residential area approximately 20 minute walk from the centre of Carvoeiro. The outdoor space is great, with plenty of seating and loungers and an undercover dining area with cooker and fridge. There is a small mini market about 10 minute walk and a larger Intermarché approx 1 mile away, which is cheaper and has a great selection. Our rep Martin was lovely and very helpful, but we were given an incorrect time for his visit so we were out when he arrived and we had to rush back to see him. It is slightly confusing when you arrive at the location as there is no signage to indicate that you are at the correct villa, it also has a different name, Casa Jolixanel. A name plate at the gate would be helpful. Our welcome message provided us with access codes for 2 key boxes, unfortunately it did not tell us where the second key box was located! For reference, it is in the gas cupboard, this important detail needs to be added to the welcome info to avoid a lengthy search trying to locate it. We had issues with the cleanliness of some areas of the kitchen. Food spill in the fridge had not been cleaned and we had to wash all of the cutlery, and cutlery drawer as it was very dirty and full of food crumbs. We took pictures and reported this to the rep who was suitably embarrassed. We also had concerns regarding the video cameras overlooking the pool. It is a 'private' villa and we felt that this was an invasion of our privacy. While we appreciate the need for security, nowhere is it mentioned that you will be on a live video feed while sunbathing around the pool. As an all female group, this made us feel very uncomfortable as the rep appeared to have no knowledge of this or who had access to view it! After 4 days we had not seen any evidence of pool maintenance and the pool started to appear cloudy and was turning green, We reported this and sent photos as requested. It was not resolved before we left so we could not use the pool for the final 2 days of our holiday which was very disappointing. The pool guy did arrive at 7.30pm on our final evening, unfortunately too late to help us as we were leaving at 8am the next day. All in all we had a good holiday but it could have been 5 star with a few minor changes.

Oct 07,2024We had a lovely stay at the property. The location was perfect everything within walking distance. The pool was amazing and heated to our requested level so our 4 and 6 month old grandchildren could enjoy it too.

Nov 03,2024Great villa, fantastic pool, kids really loved it, secure villa, walking distance to the strip, perfect for families, supermarket also within walking distance. Fantastic host who was always quick to reply to any concerns I had prior to travelling. Would highly recommend.
