Aug 31,2023DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY TO BOOK A VILLA. Worst customer service ever - absolutely awful experience - villa completely sub standard for the amount of oney we paid. No details of how to check in. No local conatct details to call for help or to ask questions. Beds were hard as nails, pillows old, villa needed serious updating - we went and spent money on new beddding. to top it off we were accused of stealing 3 pool towels and they kept some of our deposit. Absolutely shocking. 1 star is actually too much for them

Aug 23,2023Nul à fuir, ménage pas fait à notre arrivée, de mauvaise foie, nous avons retrouver plusieurs cafards car le manque de nettoyage et visible dans toute la maison. Ils nous ont renvoyé une femme de ménage qui était trop fatiguée de sa journée et qui s’est plaint des sont arrivées, nous lui avons suggéré de partir. Maison pas fonctionnel: un étendage à linge minuscule ( ficelles) pour 13 personnes, manque d’ustensiles dans la cuisine pour 13 personnes ou en très mauvais état et très sale. Fuiyez, beaucoup de chose cassée à notre arrivée: machine à laver, cafetière… piscine avec carrelage cassé mon fils s’est blessé le pieds. j’ai hâte que mon séjour se termine, très déçue, pour le prix, le minimum serait que la villa soit saine et entretenue. Je mets une étoile mais elle vaut 0

Aug 22,2023Une maison immense de l’intérieur, un vrai coup de cœur dès que nous avons ouvert la porte d’entrée. La maison est au bord du port avec une tranquillité pour se reposer en famille ou avec des amis. La propreté est au rendez-vous. Aucun équipements défaillants. Le service de l’agence à l’écoute de nos besoins et réactif pour toutes interrogations! Je recommande fortement cet endroit formidable.

Aug 09,2023An awful company who will take your security deposit. We used them 3 times and the first two times were fine this year was different. It all started with us asking them to keep our luggage in Villa Anna Albufeira as we had an early flight and our villa would not be ready untill the afternoon. They refused to keep our luggage but told us they now owed a luggage storage facility and quoted us an extraordinary amount. We didn't use their facility but used another at quarter of the price. When we got into the villa we discovered we had no kettle or toaster and didn't receive either untill the next day. We couldn't use the pool for two days due to a problem with the cleaning. The pillows were extremely poor quality as were their mattresses which resulted in poor sleep.The noise levels at night was unexceptable due to the villa next door being rented out to a large number of young people. We put up with this untill we got home it was then we discovered Algarve Vacation kept £240 of our security deposit. Algarve Vacation sent us a picture of a broken hob and stated that it was from villa anna and had been damaged during our stay. This was completely untrue and the picture of the hob could have been from anywhere. Emails went back and forth but Olivia from Algarve Vacation was adamant we broke the hob. This is something we strongly denied as we would hardly be so careless or stupid to think they would not notice such damage. In using Algarve Vacation 3 times we have given them as much as 30.000 euro i hope they enjoy their £240 as we book a large villa every year but we will never use Algarve Vacation again.

Aug 07,2023Algarve Vacations are a truly appalling company with absolutely zero regard for their clients who experience problems. I would urge you not to use them, we rented Villa Charlotte in Armacao de Pera, Portugal from them for a week in July 2023 for our extended family group of 13 adults and 2 children. One third of the Villa was unfit for use, the whole of the lower ground floor, due to a previous flood, which the previous renter had already complained to Algarve Vacations about as he had experienced exactly the same problems that we were now faced with. Unfortunately we did not see his review until after we arrived at the property. Algarve Vacations at no point informed us that there had been an issue with the property, nor that the issues had not been satisfactorily resolved. We had communicated with Algarve Vacations on 28 occasions during the previous 12 months prior to our arrival, in order to arrange transportation from the airport and to arrange to have the pool heated and the two jacuzzis heated etc (at an additional cost of some €518 I might add) at no point did Algarve Vacations decide to inform us that the Villa was unusable in parts and neither did they inform us that the Villa was also in the middle of an ongoing building site with cranes and dumper trucks in daily use 5 metres from our swimming pool with builders commencing work by 08.00 each day, had they done so we would have exercised our rights and cancelled. Mould was growing on the bedroom walls, some of these bedrooms had no means of ventilation and Algarve Vacations expected a 5 year old and a 7 year old child to sleep in one of these bedrooms and be exposed to mould spoors and with the most disgusting stench of damp and raw sewerage smells permeating the whole lower floor of the property. We arrived at the Villa late on Saturday evening having paid a total of €9,240.44 to Algarve Vacations and an additional €837.60 to VRBO who the booking was initially made with. VRBO could not be more disinterested with our situation if they tried, one wonders exactly what they do for their fee. At the first opportunity on the Monday morning we emailed Algarve Vacations and sent them videos of the construction work in operation, you could hear the loud noise very clearly and photos of the Villa and it’s state of disrepair, which clearly did not resemble what we had booked, their response from their employee Olivia Grimes which left us incredulous was this; Dear Sxxxx and Dxxxxx, Thank your for your email and I am really disappointed to hear that. We have asked one of our local representantives to go the building site to evaluate the noise level. We have been informed that no one was working by the front of the building and they were actually working in the back, being the alleged noise levels considered normal without disturbing the neighbours. However, allow me to reinforce that as clearly stated on the booking form, the company is not responsible, in any circumstances, for unforeseen events that may occur, inside or outside the property, so it will not reimburse any payments, and it is also not responsible for assuring an alternative accommodation, or for paying for any compensation. Unfortunately, we are not able to stop the building works and it is a situation completely out of our hands. For any assistance, please feel free to contact us. Kind regards Olivia Grimes So in total we have paid €10,078.04 to these two disgraceful organisations for what we thought would be a most fantastic seven day vacation in a luxuriously appointed Villa. Never again will any of us use them and I would urge you to think twice if you wish to avoid the utter pile of detritus that they have delivered to us. We shall be taking the matter further through legal redress, we do not appear to be the first people who have been mis-sold by this organisation and certainly won’t be the last. One wonders how these people ever sleep at night. I would of course give them ZERO Stars but am obliged to put at least one. Avoid Algarve Vacations at all costs would be my best advice.

Jul 25,2023Completely and utterly disgraceful company! So unhappy about our experience! Do not be taken in by the plush photographs..these are untrue! Please, please do not use! Villa hot tub was absolutely filthy..a Complete health hazard. Have leased villas around the globe and never experienced such awful/obstructive approach. Worst holiday I have ever, ever experienced...stay away!!!
