Sep 01,2024First I was surprised that I needed a other insurance ( what I did not take ) the guys by the desk said “ that is not our insurance “ what I payed for It was a bad surprise that the deposit was so High €1100 , and on the insurance papers , that I did not read goot . On the contract it said nothing about the high deposit So how is it possible that the insurance is not off Avia . It felt like fraude . It was dark , so I couldn’t check the car , who had a few damages Luckily I took pictures, the next day . But by the return off the car , they were very aggressive about the damages . I stood there in 36 degrees hot sun with my age , I became so angry. The man give me a damaged car and give me the fault. It was a very bad experience

Sep 01,2024It was a bad first impression, they tried all the time to convince me to buy insurance that I already had with the company that made the reservation, which covered everything, scaring me that if I had to get a police report I would have to pay 75 euros for that, etc. etc. They tried to trick me into charging me directly for a tank of fuel without charging me taxes, but I would not use the entire tank, so I would be tricked with that offer, they tried to trick me into saying that if I reduced the reservation from 1700 euros to 800 euros by paying a sum directly and also going down from 800 euros to 500 euros also paying a sum directly, they looked at even the smallest scratches that the car already had, it was very stressful that, these things make one suspect a lack of professionalism of their workers and for which I would no longer have confidence in AVIA, for all this I would surely never reserve a car with you again.

Sep 01,2024It was a good experience .however we initially booked a smaller polo for a lesser price and when we arrived at the airport they had given this away . We were late in picking up the vehicle and this was there reasoning for giving it to someone else . I understand from conversation we were meant to ring however if you book and pay a deposit on a hotel room they don’t give your room away if you are late so that was disappointing and ended costing us more money in the upgrade and petrol

Sep 01,2024The car was great, but the staff is not kind, including online contact. They treated me as if I wasn't paying for a service, but rather doing them a favor. Furthermore, I reserved a navigator and when I went to pick it up, there was none available. I had to drive without a navigator in a country I didn't know.

Sep 01,2024This is my 3rd time using Avia in Pula (booked through Discover cars) and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Tarik was great, really friendly and although there’s a few steps to the hiring process does this as efficiently as possible. There wasn’t any parking spaces left in the correct place for drop off but the team took over and relocated the car for us. My sister’s family also hired from Avia, both cars were well maintained and good quality. They operate a full to full fuel policy which is much easier to manage.

Aug 31,2024AVIA Zadar - letztes Jahr 2023 keine Probleme - dieses Jahr gnadenlos abgezockt... Dieses Jahr mussten wir eine Versicherung in Höhe von 320€ (Teilkasko 500€ Selbstbeteiligung) abschließen, um den Wagen zu bekommen. Grund: unsere Bank wurde nicht anerkannt ("virtuelle Bank") und keine richtige Kreditkarte. Beides stimme auf Nachfrage bei der betroffenen Comdirect-Bank und Check24 nicht: Es ist eine vollwertige VISA-Card. Bei der Abgabe wurde dann natürlich ein Kratzer gefunden. Wir mussten eine Schadensmeldung ausfüllen und 480€ bezahlen. Damit blieb man unter der Grenze der Selbstbeteiligung von 500€. Insgesamt eine schlimme Erfahrung. Dass immer mal wieder versucht wird, einem eine Versicherung aufzuschwatzen, passiert. Der Trick mit der Bank und Kreditkarte war aber mir neue - dagegen hat man vor Ort keine Handhabe...

Aug 31,2024Nice car, however - be warned we stopped in the Istria region. Accidentally locked keys in the car (admittedly totally my fault). They keep the spares in Zagreb, which they said would take 2 days to get to us (everything was in the car for a family of 5). Or there was some option that was going to cost 1200 euros to sort the issue. Finally they gave the phone number of HAK (Croatian equivalent of the AA) which I had to sort myself. I called HAK, they were great and creating the invoice for 107 euros took longer than getting me into the car. Very happy with HAK, however Avia don't have a relationship with a breakdown company. Not sure what would happen if we had a proper breakdown!! Also make sure you take a photo or video of everywhere on the car. They found a small scratch under the front bumper and cost me over 200 Euros (of which 60 euros was a processing fee!!!). Scratch was only visible to the touch or if you put your head under the car. I have no idea whether it was there before or not, so make sure you photo everywhere on pick up.

Aug 31,2024The vehicle that I reserved was automatic van, I got a manual van, which is a lower category, and they dodn't reduse the price, also the brakes on the van were catastrophic, I was driving young children and was on the whole way scared. I notified the employees about the brakes and they didn't do anything

Velocità nella riconsegna della macchina dopo una attenta valutazione dei possibili danni, non riscontrati ovviamente. Scortesia iniziale di un commesso all'aeroporto di Zadar (HR) che alla mia domanda " Conosce l'italiano" mi ha risposto " Lei conosce il croato? " Domanda totalmente inopportuna. Check in proseguito con un suo collega dove la cortesia è risultata ok.

Aug 30,2024Great support from the Team. I saw the work needs patience as well. Office team is very kind and can explain everything in details if needed. The whole process is quick if you are well prepared. Do not miss credit card on the name of the driver and also driving license (obvious, but happens). Car was almost new and everything was working properly. I can honestly recommend this rental for everyone.

Aug 30,2024In my personal experience everything was perfect, I rented the car through Discovercars.com, the price did not vary from what I had contracted, they were kind and answered all my questions, I paid a deposit of 1100 euros for a 10-day rental and the day after returning the car they had returned the money to my credit card.

Aug 30,2024Très très déçue. Plus jamais je ne réserverai via cette compagnie. Des voleurs ! Ma mère n’a pas internet donc j’ai été obligée de réserver à mon nom et payer avec ma carte « de débit », sauf que pour la caution seule ma mère avait une carte de crédit, nous avons été obligé de payer 401€ supplémentaire juste parce que la lettre du prénom ne correspondait pas alors que nous avons le même nom et nous étions toutes les 2 face au vendeur. Le vendeur a été irrespectueux et nous a ris au nez.

Aug 30,2024Very happy experience when picking up car at Pula. Told to take photographs of car in morning because it was dark when we picked up car. But not underneath the car which caused a problem when I dropped off the car. I was accused of going off road in the car which I took exemption to because told not to. May have to think twice about using Avia again

Aug 29,2024The check-in was quick and the van was totally brand new, great price for a total of 20 days trip for 8 people. I never had any issues so I don't know how would an emergency with the vehicle would have resulted but I'm sure I wouldn't have any complaints whatsoever. 100% recommend them, the checkout was even quicker, the staff was really nice and helpful with everything.
