Nice New car, uncomplicated process
Dobar dan.Prilikom vracanja automobila u vas ured u Zadru osam dana prije navedenog roka vasi uposlenici mi nisu dali nikakvo objasnjenje da nemam pravo na bilo kakav povrat novca sto je drugacije pisalo na ugovoru sa carjet,automobil sam vratio iz razloga sto su se neki planovi promijenili i automobil nam nije vise bio potreban,moje misljenje je da automobil nije bio parkiran sljedecih osam dana na parkingu.Moje misljenje je da bi trebali biti malo vise feksibilni u tim slucajevima i uraditi nekakav kompromis sa potrosacima.Sve u svemu odnos bi mogao biti malo drugaciji>Hvala.
2022. I've had rent a car from AVIA and I was more than satisfied with all overall. This year in August I've rented a car again from AVIA. I've experienced high level of professionalism, including good selection of new cars, staff services, promises. Most important to say, AVIA has really fair price. I'll definitely rent from you again. Take more than half hour to return the car, person inspect try to find small scratch and let me pay for it, maybe that’s the way for you guys to make money.
The car was perfect, clean, modern and practical. We used this during four days in Montenegro and Croatia : no problem, professionals !
Avoid at all costs. The staff were incredibly slow and despite arriving at the time of our booking and there being no other customers to serve we had to wait 25 minutes from completing our check-in (which in itself was unprecedented in how long it took) for our car to be ready. The car was the oldest hire car I’ve ever been given, was heavily used with lots of damage to the bodywork and on turning the ignition it transpired that it had two warning lights illuminated. There was a significant charge to cross the border to Montenegro and another significant charge to use a ferry. On arrival at the booth we also noted another customer returning their car being told they had to pay EUR25 due to a parking fine which was showing on their system. Then despite the fact that we had just paid for our booking with the card machine this customer was told that payment needed to be cash as the card machine wasn’t working. We suspected this was some sort of con. Sure enough on returning our car, despite the fact that we knew we had not parked anywhere which would have resulted in a fine, we were also told that there was a EUR25 cash fine to pay. We heavily disputed this and they then decided it was their mistake and it was the previous customer. Shocking customer service and quality of product. Will never use again.
PS: Your representative was to busy to finish their working shift so they only gave us the keys and let us do photos by our own. They were not interested at all. So basically you just prove that my review is based on proofs. On your reply you are lying, you don't comment half of the points I mentioned. And you did it in very poor English. Such a pity that there are still such a miserable and lying companies... And its not only me, please check a lot of the previous reviews you have. Plenty of people "have made" the exactly same damages as in my case... Coincidence? :-D If I was able i would have given 0 stars instead of 1. When we picked-up the car there were a lot of little scratches/bendts all over it. I took photos of them hoping I won't need them at the end. But I turned out that Avia is a scammer company. Very strangely, on dropping-off, the personnel immediate "found" big scratches beneath the front bumper, which, of course, I have never thought to look at initially and take pictures of. Of course they blamed us and charged us with 480€ for the damages "we have caused" from the sufficient amount of 1700€ as deposit. When asked to show me pictures that the car wasn't damaged from before the reply was "We don't have any photos, but there weren't any damages recorded from the last 3 rentals". And when I showed them the initial pictures they said to me "But you haven't pictured the bumper underneath, haven't you?" With a big smile on the face. I keep all the documentations, pictures, etc, so it's easy to proof what I'm saying... Also the damage cost was not taken from the deposit, but yesterday I was additionally charged from my credit card with 480€. And something else - since the beginning there was a "Change engine oil" on the dashboard, which was answered with "Don't worry, everything will be OK"... I will be happy to share this review with every single platform possible so other people are aware of this "company"! Thanks to XCover I was refunded immediately, they didn't need any additional information. I suppose they know what kind of scammers Avia are!
Réception du véhicule simple. A la réception du véhicule, la vérification a été rapide, on a été surpris par l'absence de contrôle à l'intérieur du véhicule. Le plein n'était pas totalement fait (jauge pas au maximum) mais globalement plutôt satisfait par l'efficacité de la mise à disposition.
Voiture louée pour 3semaines, les dommages étaient bien notés dès la livraison, voiture quasi neuve (Arona, 28000km). Globalement propre à l'intérieur. Tout s'est bien passé au retrait car j'avais pris soin de lire les conditions et donc d'avoir une carte de crédit pour la caution. Petit bémol sur les sièges auto qui sont loués assez chers (proche du prix neuf je pense) pour des sièges très basiques et un peu usés dans notre cas.

Ich stornierte drei Wochen vor Mietbeginn (da die Buchung via der deutschen Webseite nicht korrekt funktionierte), erstellte (via der englischen Webseite) eine neu Buchung und informierte Avia rent a car per E-Mail darüber. In der letzten Nachricht wurde ich von Frau Mia Jurjevic auf die term of conditions verwiesen. Term of conditions Reservation deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation. Reservation paid in full or partially is non-refundable in case of cancellation. In case of cancellation 24 hours prior reservation time an Voucher will be provided in prepaid amount that can be used on other occasion. Cancelled reservation voucher will be provided only in case of justified cancellation (cancelled flight, illness, death case) with submitted proof.
very unfriendly staff and Avia is way too expensive for all risk insurance. I really don't recommend you to anyone. The amount they charge for no risk insurance is written by hand on a small square white paper, how credible is that? I booked via a different agency so the all risk insurance was found by us / not clearly mentioned to us.
We rent a car through CHECK24 with Avia in Croatia every year, as we regularly travel there. The check-in process was smooth, the service was friendly, and the car was clean and in good condition. However, there is always something to criticize each year. This time, it was the size of the trunk: Although it was stated that two large suitcases would fit, this was only possible if we removed the trunk cover and the floor panel. These had to be placed inside the cabin, which significantly reduced the legroom for the passengers in the backseat. Ultimately, only one large suitcase properly fit in the trunk; we had to improvise to make room for the second one.Another issue arose with the payment. The booking confirmation indicated that Visa was accepted, but our Visa online card was not accepted on-site. This led to lengthy and unnecessary discussions, which were especially frustrating after a flight delay of two and a half hours. In such a situation, you just want to pick up your car and get on your way. Unfortunately, this caused significant delays, as not everyone carries a second credit card, and without it, you can't get the car. It would be helpful if the booking confirmation clearly stated that Visa online cards are not accepted.Last year, we had issues with the car return process. It’s disappointing that something always goes wrong when booking with Avia in Croatia, even though we haven’t had these problems in other countries. We sincerely hope that the situation improves in the future, as we generally like booking through Avia.
Shocking customer service from start to finish. I'll get to this in a minute, but first the 1km walk from the building in 37c heat with 3 children and 3 large bags. You need to be aware of this before you book, the you don't pick your car up at the airport you walk to a dirt shack outside without any assistance. When you get there you're met by rude, unhelpful staff who couldn't wait to try and scare us into buying add on's. I had an issue with my credit card, even though my wife was a named driver they wouldn't accept her's. They wanted us to pay £1,500 on a debit card as security! My wife was there, with her passport, driving licence and credit card and they wouldn't accept it. There was zero sense of customer relations - they were more interested in up-selling and getting as much out of you as possible. I would avoid at all costs. UPDATE: it's definitely a considerable walk and a lot longer than the stated 300m. The reply below, the tone, the way it's constructed tells you everything you need to know about this company and the way they will treat you.
We got our car quickly, everything was fine. The car was quite new, we could inspect it before I had to sign the paper with the defects. If we would have taken a ferry to an island we would have to pay 50.- EUR, same for leaving the original country. The Base in Split was kind of like on a gravel pitch, but was near the airport.
Véhicule très propre et en bon état. Contrairement à certains commentaires que j'avais lu avant de récupérer le véhicule et qui m'avait fait peur, l'agence est facilement trouvable, le personnel accueillant. Je pense qu'à partir du moment où l'on s'informe avant et qu'on a bien lu leurs conditions de location, et qu'on se présente avec les bonnes cartes de crédit, (tout est bien expliqué dans la réservation) tout se passe bien.
The car pick up went well, the car was also fine according to what was requested. The only thing is that there are many extras to pay, if you want to leave the country and on the other hand, I paid extra insurance on my reservation for any incident (which there was not) but they also charged me €2100 on my card as a guarantee that they are supposed to return to you when you drop off the car, if you have any damage they use these €2100 to cover the deductible and you already deal with the insurance you have paid, because I do not think it is the most correct if I already paid an extra on the reservation. In addition, the charge on my card of the €2100 was immediate, however, the refund after 5 days has not arrived yet.
Everything went well, we didn’t wait and the car was practically new.
This is one of the best services I have used. Fast, high-quality and pleasant service. Very grateful!

Arrivé à avia nous avons du rajouter 400€ car la cb n'était pas une carte de crédit... nous avions contacté notre banque et tout est OK et là ça ne passe pas... nous trouvons ça lamentable de devoir rajouter sans être prévenu... nous sommes très déçus... nous ne repasserons pas par avia...
