Mar 16,2022We were selling a property, with no purchase involved. The previous firm of Solicitors we'd used over a 20 year period had reduced the size of their business and their costs had escalated. We did some research online and found Conveyancing Index who recommended 3 Solicitors who could conduct the whole process online. We went with the middle quote and that was Baker Ashley. Their reviews were excellent and we liked the fact that there were no hidden extra costs, the process could be handled online and we were allocated a dedicated Case Manager. Nataly was excellent from start to finish and we can't recommend her highly enough. On the rare occasion we had need to ring the offices we were impressed with the friendly and efficient nature of everyone we spoke to. Our emails were also responded to promptly and we liked the way we were able to follow the progress of our sale by email updates every time an action was taken. The whole process was easy. We will certainly be using Baker Ashley again in the future and wish them every success.

Mar 08,2022Where to start. It was my first time flat purchase but let me tell you it was one of the most painful experiences in my life. I've had over 4 solicitors on my case including David head of conveyancing. If you have any issues you will be lucky to get anyone to reply. I haven't even finished my completion yet despite living in the flat for 6 months. For example I sent the deed of covenant to David 6 months ago so my ownership could be registered with the council After 3 months I contacted them and turned out Dacid had forgot to send it so they would immediately processes it. I then phoned the council and they said they hadn't paid for it so it couldn't be completed. I then tried to make a complaint to baker Ashley but my email was ignored and this is against rules by the regulator as the solicitors must tell you how to make an internal complaint. Basically don't use these guys as you will spend your life chasing them up and getting bs reasons why something isn't done even if a third party tells you otherwise. They are terrible through and through Edit: you can't see a complaint as your solicitors did not provide the details. I can share an email to one of your solicitors showing that I want to make a complaint and that my email was ignored!

Mar 04,2022We completed in around 4 months but we also had downtime between Christmas holidays and New Year so in fairness i think Baker Ashley did alright given the situation with covid and everything else Of course we would have liked for all of it to take as little time as possible but that’s not realistic We are happy with the services provided and we will have to praise Debi Tobin for her support throughout this and Elizabeth Fletcher for her great work behind the scene Thanks again and we will hopefully be in touch for our next property when that might happen

Feb 02,2022An excellent service from start until finish with Baker Ashley. Unfortunately, we had a long 7 months before completing with issues at the bottom of the chain. Julie Mann was our conveyancer and even on the day of exchanging and completing contracts, she was chasing up and down the chain. She kept us informed throughout the process and was just as enthusiastic about the completion as we were. A very kind, caring lady. We would use this solicitor again.

Jan 21,2022Getting my son and his girlfriend on the property ladder was a challenge. So difficult for first time buyers getting a mortgage. Fortunately they managed it but that was just the beginning. We then needed a solicitor to guide us through the whole purchase process. I can not express how wonderful the service was from Baker Ashley. They kept us updated all through the process and at times going beyond what you would expect to explain issues that we encountered. David and his colleagues made the whole process stress free. Finally I have to mention how incredibly competitive the cost was and no hidden cost surprises at the end. I would have no hesitation in recommending them and certainly use their services again.

Mar 20,2022Baker Ashley handled my sale and purchase which quickly became very stressful due to the incompetence of my previous solicitors. Nataly G was amazing, efficient and sorted out the whole mess. It was a mammoth journey to finally sell and complete but really great service from Nataly and her assistants who understood how stressed I was. Thank you so much
