Sep 05,2022I have to be honest: I had great concerns about using non local surveyors, however Nataly Giacovazzi proved me completely wrong. Throughout the whole process she was incredibly supportive, responsive and professional. Throughout the operation Nataly was extremely responsive and reassuring. She dealt particularly well with the other party on the transaction who were putting unacceptable levels of pressure on us to complete despite us patiently waiting for months for a probate to be granted at the other side of the chain. Baker Ashley uses a software that allows you to track everything that is happening in your case: this is particularly helpful and avoids excessive status emails/phone calls. Everything works remarkably well despite being conducted online or over the phone! I hope to use Baker Ashley again in the future and would recommend anyone to do the same.

Do yourself a favour and stay the hell away from them. Unfortunately I learned the hard way. Now dealing with a local company and they are a breath of fresh air compared this steaming dung pile. The bad reviews are here for a reason.

As a first time buyer, I found this process very daunting and had no idea of what to expect but working with Baker Ashley really eased my mind. Throughout the whole journey, Nataly and Sean were super responsive and reassuring, explaining in detail what was going on at each stage. The Hoowla software that the team use is also really great in seeing exactly where you are in your journey. I don't live in Wales but it doesn't matter at all as everything is done online and over the phone. I would 100% recommend Baker Ashley!

Contact was by several means and questions answered by return. They gave me a breakdown of charges and unlike other Solicitors I had used in the past the original cost remained unchanged. During the later stages there was a big push to get this completed on time due to a tight deadline and Julie went above and beyond to make this happen on time despite a lack of communication from the other sides solicitor. She spent time explaining step by step exactly what she needed from and when, she would follow up each call with an email. We successfully completed on time against the odds. Would recommend to anyone and I plan to use again.

Unfortunately my case was assigned to David Isaac, the head of Conveyancing, who all of the negative reviews seem to be directed towards. After a week it became clear that David has no interest in speaking to, returning calls or communicating with his customers, so I cancelled my instruction.

The whole process only took 8 weeks start to finish and we were regularly kept up to date with all developments. Sue and Lisa, were easy to contact and always picked up on returned ny calls promptly. We have had a very good experience with this company and they are also dealing with the sale of our existing house. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
