Oct 22,2022Thanks to Nataly who has been a great pleasure to work with throughout the sale process. I've never met her and in fact we are very far apart but the geographical distance does not affect the sale in anyway because she always responds/communicates in a timely manner. I found easy to reach her and to talk with her. She shows a great understanding of my thinking, intentions and needs. All these qualities have made my life much easier (stress free) from the beginning to completion. My dealings with Nataly was in stark contrast to my experience with the estate agent (Signature North East) I unfortunately used. The estate agent caused me the biggest upset because of their delays in key communications, leaving me in the dark for weeks, and yet charging me an enormously expensive agent fee. For Baker Ashley Solicitors, I will definitely instruct Nataly again in the future if needed. All the best Nataly. Thank you

Sep 29,2022Avoid like the plague. Horrible service, extremely negligent and highly irresponsive. We purchased through Baker Ashley with completion in April 2021 and they did not send our leaseholder registration through till March 2022. This however is just the tip of the ice berg. We've have been in a chain since February 2022 trying to sell our property that we bought through Baker Ashley and we are on the brink of having the whole chain collapse because of David's negligence. David did not do his due diligence and never took a retainer of £7000 of NOIs that were provided to him during his enquiries and now we aren't able to sell as our buyer's solicitors have asked of this retainer from us for works that were carried out in 2015 long before we became owners. David's negligence is still showing its ugly face almost 2 years since we last had to deal with him and we had thought that thank god we don't have to deal with him again but it looks like fate had other plans. After all this you would think that Baker Ashley and David would be swift to respond yet same old story, we have been waiting for David's response to this retainer issue for over 3 weeks, it feels as though he is taking his time to do his due diligence now to look for an angle to protect himself. If only he had done this much due diligence before we wouldnt be in this mess. My advice to anyone considering using Baker Ashley's services....DONT...honestly please don't. You might be attracted by the cheap conveyancing quote from them or the conveyancing index they use to promote their services but like us you could end up in the long run losing more money and paying for your decision for years to come. We regretted ever using David and are still paying for our decision. We are losing our opportunity to sell our property because of his conveyancing negligence and will be pursuing legal action which will cost us even more. 29/09/2022 In response to Baker Ashley's response: my solicitor has done their job, thank you very much. It has been your firm that keep responding to his emails with "we will revert back to you in due course". You have been doing this for 3 weeks with ZERO urgency. So please don't patronise me or try to pretend in front of those reading these reviews that you're doing your job.

We had the most frustrating buyer but Baker Ashely went above and beyond to help us finally complete the sale of our property. Communication was amazing and we could always get hold of someone when we needed to. We would highly recommend Baker Ashley and would happily use them again but hopefully won't be moving again any time soon!!

Sep 22,2022Great service from Baker Ashley who acted on our behalf in the sale of our property. There were a few hiccups in communication early on but overall the experience was very positive. The help, support and assistance of Lisa and the Conveyancing team was both professional and informative. When it really mattered they were there making sure the end result was on point and completion was timely and hassle free. Everyone I dealt with from the person who answered the phone to those dealing with the file were welcoming, polite and efficient. All in all a stressful time for us was managed effectively and thoughtfully by a very experienced team. Thank you!
