Jun 28,2021We first engaged Ashely Baker to be our surveyors in Sept 2020 as reviews seemed very possitive. By December the seller side was threatening to pull out due to the lack of communication and actions to move the process forward from our lawyers. We began having to chase constantly but deadlines continued to be missed and promises of call backs never came to much. Only once we asked for dispute resolution process and how we could change lawyers did David and team speed up thier responses. On top of this after completion we were invoiced for costs that did not relate to our time of ownership, Baker Ashley did have a process to reclaim funds from the other party but the amount we received was not the full amount and we cant seem to get a response as to why. At this point we are just going to take the financial hit ourselves, its that or continue to chase and be ignored .... utterly hopeless

From the start to the finish of a somewhat complicated process, we had an excellent service. Lisa was consistently efficient, professional and always approachable. Even when things became fraught (no fault of Baker Ashley) Lisa was always cool, calm and on top of the job. Our sincere thanks to everyone who dealt with our case but especially Lisa and Chrissy. Jun 08,2021Excellent service from both Cerys and Emma during a lengthy employment law case which resulted in a substantial settlement. I cannot recommend both solicitors enough. Emma dealt with the vast majority of my case and give clear and accurate advice throughout, Emma is extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent advice. At times when the stress of the case become too much both Cerys and Emma were very supportive and encouraged me to continue to fight my case even when I sometimes wanted to give up. This was a difficult transaction as it was on/off and but when I needed everything to happen quickly the team and Julie in particular were superb. There were super fast in completing the searches even in the pandemic (returned within 4 weeks). Highly recommend and I would certainly use them again.

May 11,2021I chose Baker Ashley to sell my property as they have an online portal that allows you to track the process without having to ring them. It also has a request update function if you do want an update from the person dealing with your case. My first contact was with Jamie Mainwaring and he dealt with the initial stage of the client relationship process, ID, fees deposit etc.... This was done in a friendly and efficient manner and was a good start. The person that actually dealt with the conveyance work was Andrea Herman. From the outset I could tell that Andrea was very proactive and wanted to get the best result for her client. She has a friendly manner which was a nice surprise and was very efficient. The buyer’s lender gave us a couple of unexpected challenges but Andrea sorted them out without fuss. They dragged their heels but Andrea kept pushing them to progress, without her drive I’m pretty sure the sale would have still not been completed. Just over 4 months from start to finish, thank you Andrea for your help in getting the sale completed.
