Christopher the Surveyor and Tawwy & Lewis who installed the boiler provided a jargon free, professional and excellent service throughout. I would certainly recommend BASI Heating to anyone who is looking to replace or generally install a new boiler. Kelly, Huddersfield.

Oct 22,2016I had a new boiler installed by Basi 2 weeks ago. Living in a flat within a conversion of an old building, the job was by no means easy, with awkward routes for the flue and condensate pipes and limited access. Andrew and his apprentice arrived on time and were polite and pleasant to deal with. Although they encountered unforeseen issues, they solved all problems efficiently, with solutions that suited us both. (Their solutions were better than the original plan!) Despite these additional issues they kept to the original fixed quote. Cupboards required modification to allow access to the flue, so a joiner was sent as part of the team, meaning there was no delay in restoring my flat to its original state. The finish is perfect and you cannot tell that any modifications have taken place. I have an old thermostat, however they immediately connected it and set it, giving me a full lesson on how to work the new system. Overall they worked efficiently and tidily, leaving no mess in sight! After the job was complete, Basi registered my boiler with Gas Safe and sent through all the relevant paperwork, so there was no hassle for me. I had a concern about the system, however Basi sent someone out within hours of my call to have a look. They meticulously checked everything and explained everything to me. (My concerns were quite unwarranted and the system is functioning perfectly.) All in all I couldn't have asked for a better service. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a new boiler.

Oct 22,2016The team were very efficient and didban excellent job. With thebleast amount of disruption to us. Would have been 5 stars however did find a floorboard that had not been secured back so i will have to pull carpet back and secure. Minor thing and an excellent job over all.

Oct 21,2016BASI actually contacted me to request to bid for the work after I put an advert on a trade site for a boiler replacement. Everything from the initial phone call with a chap called Chris to having everything done and dusted has been hassle free and at times faintly hilarious. Another Chris (must be an essential requirement on the person spec) came out to survey/quote. Of the three companies I had reps from (including one major national company) only Chris showed me his ID when he visited. He was polite, engaging and patient, talking me through all the options. Not once did it feel like there was a hard-sell in sight, in fact it felt more like talking with a knowledgeable friend. Although BASI fell middle in terms of price (and were hundreds cheaper than the national company), on balance I felt that the aftercare and service would be worth the extra couple of hundred quid. Lewis, Tanny and Ryan-the-Apprentice were lovely. Although they got the job done with a good half-day to spare they were friendly and funny, and found time to chat and exchange pleasantries. They were tidy, clean and jolly and it was nice to hear singing, laughing and banter as they worked away. They made me feel like nothing was too much trouble, and helped problem solve/advised on a number of issues left by whoever fitted my ancient central heating system. I would - and will be - definitely recommend their services and am so chuffed they contacted me to win the work.

Oct 17,2016The one issue as now been settled, after a visit from quality control, and as I said in my review I had no issues with the installation and professionalism of the engineer's, forget British Gas get Basi The lads from Basic arrived on time and got stuck in right away, and despite a few problems with my old system, they installed my new boiler and radiators by six. They, on the whole were tidy all the time apart from when the young lad, whilst doing the lounge radiator let the carpet become uncovered and was walking on carpet in boots. But the main reason I can only give 4.5 is because part of my kitchen cushionfloor was melted when removing old pipework in my kitchen, otherwise they did a great job and i would recommend the company to anyone. And for value they beat British Gas hands down, from the survey to completion.

Oct 15,2016Great work indoors, lots of care taken, very friendly, helpful and informative. Outside care not so good, chemical spilt on lawn leaving dead patch, roof tiles broken (not mentioned) only noticed by spouse when looking out of window.

Oct 12,2016We were recommended to Basi by two independent and unrelated acquaintances and it has proved a good choice. Everything from our initial contact to Lewis and Tanny arriving to begin the work has been fully communicated to us; it's nice - albeit a little unusual in this day and age - when someone tells you what's going to happen and when, and then actually does what they promise and turn up when they said they would. All trades people should be like this! Lewis and Tanny were excellent, did the work professionally and cheerfully within the agreed time frame, kept us informed as they went along, treated the house with respect and consideration, took care of the carpets with protective plastic covering and dust sheets and generally 'went the extra mile' to make sure that we were happy with the installation and understood its operation. Andy, the electrician, had the same ethos. Everything was checked over, cleaned up and all the rubbish taken away. All in all, a totally satisfactory experience. Would recommend without hesitation.

Oct 04,2016The past 2 days Lewis and Tanny puy a full central heating system in my property they did an excellent job, not only in fitting the system, but also in removing the old air heating. They were clean and tidy, but also very kind and worked hard! Would recommend them to anyone!

Oct 03,2016Basi Heating installation engineers Lewis and Tanny removed my old boiler and installed my new combi boiler and addition radiator a full half day shorter than the estimated time. The house was spotless when they left. a job well done. I would fully recommend Basi heating to anyone.

Sep 21,2016From start to finish Basi have been informative, helpful and accommodating. My initial meeting with Chris was no hard sell tactics he was very professional, well informed and able to offer me various choices for a new boiler. The team who fitted my boiler were clean, fast workers, always on time and cared about being in my home. They covered carpets in plastic and dust sheets and cleaned up both days they worked here. They went through the full instructions on how to work the boiler and left laminated cards for future reference. I can't fault Basi as a company they were great all round. Even able to offer me a good interest free finanace package to help me cover the costs over a year. I would definitely recommend other people using this company.

Sep 19,2016I had heard good things about this company from my clients, but could they be as good as I was being told? A resounding YES. Chris came out to see me and went through what was required and what options were available to me re the type of boilers, price ranges etc. He answered my questions clearly and gave good helpful advice. At no time was I under any pressure to make a decision there and then. I arranged for them to come to replace the boiler, and they kept me informed as to what time they would arrive and what would be happening. The boys that came were polite and extremely efficient, Would not even stop for a cup of coffee.There was no mess, or if there was they cleared it up before I saw it. Unfortunately they could not commission the boiler there and then as they discovered a problem with the gas pressure. One that British Gas had not discovered even though we are on a £49 a mth service contract with then!! So Basi Heating are efficient, extremely professional with regard to installation and safety, clean and tidy with their workmanship. I would recommend them and their services to anyone. A company that is efficient, and knows their area of expertise in detail. thank you for a great job.

Lewis/Tanny and team did a first class job, they were polite, informative and left the house as clean as when they started. The fit went well and was finished within the time they estimated. First class job would not hesitate to recommend them.

From the initial meeting with Chris, who was honest, open and extremely professional, my wife and I were confident we were making the right decision. This professionalism must run through the core of the company. Lewis and Tanny were outstanding workmen. The boiler was fitted within 2 days, but what was exemplary was the respect they shown whilst working in our home. Very tidy workmanship indeed, plastic overshoes, and covered carpets whilst work was in progress, being mindful to keep disruption to a minimum. We are delighted with the new boiler but more importantly very happy to recommend you to friends and family based on first hand experience.

Nov 03,2016I had gas central heating installed, the fitters did an excellent job with the install & clearing all the rubbish away. They were quick, efficient and explained in detail how to operate it. Job well done, would certainly recommend & only use Basi Gas for any further work I needed.
