Called to book a bus trip at short notice - same day, and they were very helpful, along with giving me updates on the driver's arrival time, etc. Marcus, who was my contact person, kept in touch to ensure my expectations were met, all on short notice.
I thought for a very long time how to write this review, as I don't want to be unfair. I used their services 3 times during my wedding weekend, and I have booked the service for my family, because they don't speak English. I booked the service a month in advance. I had phone calls and emails, detailing everything about the three trips, and everything looked fine and the trips were correct, until the day when I was supposed to pay the trip, and the quote had a mistake on the date of the third trip. I contacted the company THREE separate times to tell them that there was a mistake. I would like to say that the first two trips were fine, and my family reached their destination. However, the third trip was supposed to be from Cambridge city centre to Stansted airport. I was driving to my own house on the motorway when my mum called me crying because the bus did not showed up. I had to pull over to call BusRoute.co, and they told me to look for an alternative way of getting them to the airport. I had to call taxi companies from Cambridge to arrange for 11 people with luggage to take them immediately to the airport, otherwise they would miss their flights. My experience was beyond stressful, as my family doesn't speak English and I wasn't there to help them. I had relied on BusRoute to be there on the right day on the right time, as in all my communications, the date was correct. They were the ones that put the wrong date on the quote, and they were told up to THREE times that the date was wrong. I disagreed on the resolution that they gave me, as they considered the final bus trip as a "cancellation", and in their policy, they don't cover the fact that they won't check your communications once they got your payment. I have to say that they refunded the payment for the trip 3 very fast. In my opinion, I think that they should have paid the taxis that my family needed to get to Stansted, but they completely refused and offered me instead a 25% discount on my next trip with them, which I will never use, as I refuse to book with them again. I felt that the service was bad, as they made a mistake, they were given three chances to fix it, and I had to be the one to fix it on the day that they did not show up. The stress that I felt that day, thinking that all my family would miss their flights was enormous. Two of the three trips that I booked were fine, but I would still not recommend using them.

Absolutely appalling experience. We never even got to see the coach. We booked Busroute to transport 50 wedding guests - elderly and disabled relatives - from the ceremony place to the restaurant. Minutes before the agreed pick up time, I rung the driver and he said he was going to be one hour late because of traffic. Not sure how he expected us to find out if I hadn’t called him. Obviously we had to replan transport for our family and pay for it, too. Not the highlight of my wedding day. Afterwards we spent a month to get some of our money back as they claimed late arrival was due to traffic. And in the end, they only refunded us half of the price (£250) for no service at all. They never even gave us a reason for the lack of communication from the driver. Just to add to this, there were warning signs. Before the actual date, I sent several emails requesting the coach’s number plate and the driver’s name as it was required by the Town Hall for parking permits. I only got to have these the day before the wedding, just to add to the task list. Besides, I don’t know if it is normal practice to have to pay the full fee in advance? I was probably stupid to do so. I paid the deposit and I should have paid the remainder after receiving the service. Don’t do the same. First of all, don’t book anything with Busroute.
Very good service. We ordered two buses. One had a technical issue a few hours prior to pickup but a replacement was found in good time. Great service. Would suggest opening customer service phone line a little earlier than 11am on a Saturday.
Driver was amazing and very polite, everything was clean and tidy he even let me take the dog to the back of the mini bus which the dog enjoyed. He arrived a little late but it’s expected with where we live it’s very busy roads and was expected. The return journey was a little bit more dramatic but was no one’s fault and got sorted as quickly as possible and on the way home stopped off at McDonald’s so all the kids was happy about that the return driver replacement was the same driver as we had going and he went out of his way to make sure everyone was happy. Thank you a lot will use your services again if needed

We booked a minibus for 15 people to go to a concert. Our driver Owen was great, he managed to amend the pick up time on the day. He was spot on time for pick up and return. I left my phone in the bus and he returned it by recorded delivery straight away. Chris our booking agent was in regular contact aswell.
