Jul 07,2022Anyone wanting to buy a bike should come here, there’s an incredibly large amazing range of bikes with loads of space at the back to test drive, the staff are all really friendly and helpful with loads of experience and knowledge….I love my Cannondale adventure E-bike….Thankyou buy a bike!👍

Jul 07,2022Well very pleased with the service, i phoned up explaining that was it possible to pick up a bike the same day if it matched my needs. The bike in question was not built yet so after driving nearly 80 miles they had nearly built the E MTB, there was a short wait which i did not mind i was offered free beverages and comfy seating area, it wasn't to long a wait and my bike was brought out to me. Buy a bike as a extensive showroom with a courtyard that i tried the bike on with a helpful staff member that run me through the operations of the E MTB. After deciding i wanted the bike they PDI checked it, put a bit more charge in while i sorted out the payment and drunk more coffee. I felt i had a personel experience by knowledgeable staff and i walked out the shop very happy with my new E MTB. I had previously the week b4 had been let down on a sale of the same bike from a different retailer, so to phone up on a Saturday morning and arrive back home a few hours later happy with new pride & joy well thats dam good service peeps thankyou

They had a fantastic choice of bikes to choose from with very friendly knowledgeable staff, great atmosphere too being a family ran business who were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble and they even allowed me to take my dog in welcoming her with a fuss and a fresh bowl of water. Great store, they definitely know their stuff.

Jun 12,2022Pt 1: Took my bike in to buy a bike a few weeks back as my breaks weren’t biting one of the mechanics came out and sorted it there and then saving me having to book it in and being able to get out on a ride Pt2: the owner took time to chat to me about different bike options in my size and mentioned that he would contact the supplier for the bike I really wanted to see if he could get hold of it in my size Pt3.. my partner took his bike there to have a mount fitted which they did straight away The service here is fantastic always go above and beyond and you leave with a great experience

Jun 02,2022I bought a bike from Buy a Bike a couple of years ago. There was no 'hard sell', I browsed the many bikes, suitable for all disciplines and then chatted with the team about which make/model would be best suited to me, my budget and my style of riding. After a couple of return visits and test rides, I bought my bike and have been impressed with absolutely every nut and bolt on it (GIANT Fathom 1 29r). I took my bike back to be serviced and repaired following a recent tumble (my fault). The aftersales service and care the team showed me was outstanding! My bike is now back on the road (trail) and is 100% once more. I highly recommend visiting Buy a Bike whatever your budget, age, discipline or experience. The team are 5 star and a credit to the organisation! Thank you guys and lady :-)

May 30,2022A fantastic bike shop, if I could give 6 stars I would! It's a large shop with plenty of free parking on site. The range and stock was awesome, and the staff were brilliant. On entering the shop we were greeted straight away and directed to the right area of the shop to browse for a bike for our 11year old. The range of quality bikes here is excellent and we were able to sit him on a range of models to check the size and geometry worked for him. When we asked for some advice, they were very knowledgeable and took time to help. As it was a dry weather, my lad was able to have a ride around the yard to check that he could ride the bike properly which gave us confidence we were getting the right bike. Luckily, they were able to fit us into the workshop to build the bike on the same day. This meant that we could pop for some lunch and then pick it up without making a return trip as we live about 80 mile round trip. The staff were brilliant throughout. To highlight how great they were, one of the mechanics stayed beyond their closing time to help me after I misjudged the size of my boot! I got myself in a hugely embarrassing mess by removing the rear mech amongst other things to try to fit it in. Having already built the bike once, he very kindly took it back inside and put it all back together for me. I am really grateful, thank you! They really went out of their way to help and I would highly recommend Buy a Bike to anyone looking for bikes, parts or accessories.

May 24,2022Pretty poor shop in my opinion, however the 1 star is a big thank you, if you read until the end you’ll understand why… A 35 minute drive to look at bikes (which my son is paying for from his part time job) we arrived at buy a bike to a pretty empty car park, after browsing bikes for 10-15 minutes with zero interaction from any sales staff we found an ideal bike which my son wanted to purchase (priced at £649), an ultra quick google search we found the same bike £65 cheaper at a local competitor, in stock & ready for collection…(Southport) I Politely asked if they would price match and honestly you think I’d have asked for the guys cash card PIN number, after a filthy look he muttered to a colleague “I don’t see why they are discounting brand new lines”, then pretty much shut me down & showed absolutely zero interest in selling us a bike, in all honesty that’s not my issue, why they sell bikes cheaper than you, I only asked!!! needless to say we didn’t make a purchase, however I know exactly why they are offering a deal, because like lots of retail outlets they are fighting for business to avoid you going elsewhere…Buy a bike must be that busy they don’t need it (mmm, empty car park) or is it the fact we were only spending £600 not a few thousand…??? You think about spending £600 that you have saved from a part time job while trying to fund the cost at UNi???honestly buy a bike you should be ashamed as you we’re not interested at all, an utter disgrace, no sales ship, no interaction, no nothing, just a plain NO… I was a sales manager for 16 years and there’s no way I would have let a customer walk like that, honestly utter garbage, my son also wanted some accessories, helmet, water bottle etc, surely this could have been negotiated??? What ever the reason I would like to thank buy a bike as we got to have a great look at the bike in your store and have now made a purchase from another bike retailer with fantastic service an excellent price & some accessories to boot…The 1 star is a thanks to buy a bike for forcing me to go elsewhere… Once again, many thanks & much appreciated…👍

May 20,2022My first dealings with Buy A Bike. It was a small order, and although it arrived promptly, only half the quantity requested was supplied. On contacting the company, I received a prompt and courteous response, followed by swift delivery of the rest of the goods. The overall impression was of a straightforward organisation which aims to provide decent service and fair value. I would be happy to go there again

Jul 11,2022Fantastic service from Buy a Bike. On a busy Sunday afternoon the staff were all very helpful and knowledgeable. My size ebike wasn't already built and they found time to build it ready go that day, and lots of lovely coffee whilst waiting. Every member of staff were friendly, chatty and had some amazing pictures and videos to show of bikes in action and manufacturing, so interesting. A great day out if you love bikes, there are loads on display and space to try them out. The service and attention was second to none! They also gave me some lovely free stuff to go with the bike which they didn't need to do as i already bought it!
