I bought a 2017 Peugeot 2008 in Aug 24 from Chorley Nissan in Wigan. I had issues with the car in the first couple of weeks, after weeks of phone calls and an inspection I ended up having to renew the rear brake discs and pads myself - which they paid for the parts and my labour (£20/hour because that’s what they pay their workshop). Six months later the car is burning oil quite badly (probably valve stem seals/piston rings). I contacted the service team at Wigan, on the advice of the salesman who sold me the car, unfortunately they said they’d charge £190 for a diagnosis and the cost of repairs. Obviously I only had 3 months warranty so no comeback. When I first collected the car, I was informed that it had a new exhaust - could this have been due to the oil burning? I can’t prove this either way so I’ll have to sort it myself. Overall I’ve had a miserable experience using Chorley Group in Wigan and it’s only my experience.
Had the pleasure of dealing with Paul Servant. Cannot speak more highly of his demeanour & professionalism. Decided to purchase the car on the day, fully expecting to receive the Sportage within a few days. However there were a couple of problems with the car, Paul kept me updated on a regular basis. After waiting for a part for a few days, the car was serviced & MOT carried out. Car was delivered in a pristine condition, could not be happier
Big shout out to Paul Atherton! Provided all info and details on the two cars I was looking to buy. Gave clear trade-in value, extras and PCP options etc. Paul was very accommodating and courteous at all times. I felt no pressure at all and that actually made my decision easier as I was given some breathing space to think and consider both cars. We where on the look out for a Kia Sportage and looked at various garages until we spoke to Jonty at Kia Blackpool, a great guy, not pushy but explained all about the car Chorley group, finance and let us take the car for a test drive, came back wanted to know our thoughts like they all do but Jonty thanked us and asked if theres anything else just give him a call, thought on the offer and agreed, deposit paid and we knew we would be waiting a while with how in demand the sportage is but we received regular updates from jonty up until collection which was also seemless... a credit to the group
Excellent service before you buy a car from them , but once you have handed over your hard earned cash they are horrendous to deal with to say the least ! Non returning of calls ,non replying to e mails ,it’s ironic to say the least that when viewing and negotiating buying a car they want you to deal with the same person ( and wait if it’s their day off by the way ) yet when there’s an after sales problem they pass you about from name one to another in the hope you will give up no doubt , Well don’t give up , it’s your right to expect a car to be fit for purpose , of a satisfactory quality and it needs to be as described , stand your ground

Been in to see about a mobility car I’ve test driven the x trail which I’ve now ordered and asked for a tow bar to be fitted Only downside you can’t use a credit card for more than £500 and seeing as the towbar is an extra is terrible that they only deal in cash transfers
Most dealers have the price in the windscreen, so you can walk around and find a car within your price range. Not Nissan they have a QR code which you have to scan, which means scanning every single car, (what a waste of time,) that said i decided to give it a go. First one asked for the reg which I put in, only to find out that the car could not be found, at this point I abandoned it and went and sat in my car looking for other dealers in the area, but my son carried on looking, but eventually even he gave up. So Nissan congratulations you have lost a sale we wont be returning and we won't be recommending you. Note there is something to be Said for the old fashioned way of doing things and technology is only good when it works.
I write honest reviews based on the service i have received, it makes a change to rate a company five starts again, ive been a customer of chrorley group for decades, ok not all is 100 per cent, people have off days, we get news we dont want to hear, they cant do what we expect there and then, but what you do get is there loyalty to go the extra miles and to keep customers for years to come, Kia sales and service team are fantastic, im a really hard person to please but they are a decent honest company who listen, and transparent prices

I visited the Ormskirk branch last week with a view to buying my first car. Richard was incredibly helpful with keeping me well informed throughout the process, explaining things where necessary and addressing any questions I had. Richard also gave me a follow up call a couple of days after picking up my car to ensure that everything was fine and that I was happy with everything. I found myself in a position where I needed to get hold of new car rather quickly, I saw a vehicle on autotrader and proceeded to enquire about it via Burnley MG, I promptly received a call and some e-mails from Jack Wadhams, I live 2 hours away near Hull so had already test drove locally, Jack provided us with excellent service from start to finish especially as I needed a quick turnaround he was a pleasure to deal with, thanks also to Mackenzie who picked me up from the train station today when I came to collect the car, myself and my partner both love the vehicle and I’m very grateful to Chorley Group for offering us an excellent deal that we just couldn’t find locally. Looking to replace our ageing Hyundai i20 at the Blackpool branch, where we have had good service in the past. Daniel was on hand and we had a brief chat about changing ours. We arranged to return a couple of days later and discussed the possible purchase in detail. He was very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. He patiently took us through all the options and we never felt pressured at any point. We came out with a deal that satisfied us and all the paperwork was dealt with by Daniel. This made the whole process a pleasure, conducted in quiet and smart surroundings.
