Apr 08,2025I’m so relieved and happy. This is only because of the excellent support and services of Community Tax Relief! The IRS and state taxes were about to place a lien and garnish my wages until Community Tax stepped in and stopped them in their tracks. They helped me resolve the debt and helped me set up a payment plan that I am comfortable with. Give them a call and let them handle your debt issues. You should not fight the IRS alone. Mar 15,2025I paid a total it $3,175 for an investigation and preparation of multiple returns. I was promised any IRS collections would be stopped during this time. Over a year later and the work is incomplete and I'm in collections without much change. I would stay far away from Community Tax and go with a professional tax preparer like an enrolled agent. At Conmunity Tax Alan Eley promised I would owe nothing. Brian Ellingwood avoided my and calls, Mya Wood prepared returns full of mistakes and Karolina Gavilan insisted she couldn’t help with mistake riddled returns unless you paid thousands to enter the resolution phase. This company and its employees are masters of the bait and switch.

Mar 04,2025I previously had a very frustrating experience with this company, feeling like my concerns were ignored and that I had paid a significant amount without seeing progress. However, Marco reached out to me and took the time to thoroughly explain things I hadn’t understood before. He also reinstated my account without charging a fee and set me up with a new practitioner to move forward more productively. While my experience up to this point has been difficult, I appreciate the effort to address my concerns. Thank you, Marco, and I’m hopeful that we can now work together toward a resolution.

Mar 03,2025community tax charged me more than $5000.00 dollars for my tax resolution. but they did not do any thing. just payment plan of $25 dollars monthly for one year. they said no debt is for ever after 10 years I will be free of debt...waste of money becarefull

Feb 27,2025We just received our final agreement for installments from the IRS, and we are beyond relieved. The settlement amount is doable for us. The team at Community Tax did an incredible job of making the experience as non-traumatic as possible. I was loosing sleep for sure, but Teri Wilson and her team did an excellent job of reassuring my husband and I that it would be ok, and she was right! She was always available if I had questions, and even called us on a regular basis to check on what we were receiving from the IRS. It was very difficult for us to understand and navigate what came from the IRS without her help. I can’t say enough good things about their professionalism. I was concerned at first about the difference in Time zones, but it was never an issue.
