The install was done well and complied with our wishes, one issue required an additional return visit after quite an effort on our behalf but the problem was remedied that very day. The training on the system leaves allot to be desired. And there appear to be some glitches in the system. We have reached out to cpi for help with one of these issues and have not received a responce.

So far its been a great experience, I got them installed on Tuesday and the technician was great, however he did not have enough equipment for my large home and was apologetic and will be back Friday to install the other equipment. My only issue is how long CPI takes to respond to my alarms. I set it off twice and it took them about a Minute and Thirty Seconds to come over the 2-way speaker. That is with all delays turned off which is something I would like to see about getting fixed. Otherwise I would recommend CPI to anyone overall great system!

I moved 750 miles away from my family to a new state and town. I purchased a home security system from CPI to alarm my home - video, windows, doors, glass break, carbon monoxide detectors on each floor, heat detector in my garage. Two years ago my home was vandalized at 3 o’clock in the morning. CPI didn’t notify the police! I have over $29,000 in damage to my home. CPI so generously gave me a free month as compensation for the failure 😳 Fast forward to three years into my agreement with CPI. My carbon monoxide detector went off. I contacted CPI asking why my carbon monoxide detector was going off indicating low batter. Carbon dioxide detector have a 10 year lithium battery! What I was told was I have cheap battery smoke detectors installed less than a foot away from the hard wired smoke detectors in my house. I contacted CPI customer service manager and was told CPI would ALLOW me to purchase what I thought I already had! A manager then contacted me telling me that CPI would give me the carbon monoxide detector. I asked please put it in writing. What I got was an email with a subject line - UPSELL In the body of the email CPI would give me the carbon monoxide detector, but I would need to sign on for an additional 39 months of service. Learn from me, and save your money and buy smart home technology! YOU ARE NOT A. ALUED CUSTOMER TO CPI!

Do not sign any contract with CPI security! Terrible experience when canceling the account. They claimed they did not have a cancellation or termination clause and that I had a three-year contract. They promised us that if we moved out of the service area we could cancel. Forced to cancel contract and pay a $1000 cancellation fee due to getting relocated where CPI does not do business.

The customer service representative that we spoke to was very helpful. First, she listened to us vent about our initial experience with Cory earlier in the morning. Further, She gave us options to troubleshoot. Even when those fell through, she asked and received permission to waive our fee this one time. Has she not been able to do that, my experience with her still would’ve been great because she did such a good job, listening and offering options. I want to thank her for her customer service and for hearing us out

The tech (Shannon)was very knowledgeable and went over everything with me before starting the installation. He found the best locations for panel, cameras and sensors. After the installation the customer service person asked very important questions to further the security of my home. Did know that a Quality control inspection was also part of the deal to insure that everything was good. Job Great CPI Team.

Luke was very knowledgeable on where to get the most out of our system for the amount of square footage and property we have. Cleaned up very well. And even though I was not able to be here, but my wife was. She felt very safe and confident after he left. He was a great person to have install our system. Thank you, Luke.

I had a month-to-month contract with cpi. home security. agent showed me the agreement on his tablet, and I verified the monthly price. 18 months later, I notified cpi that I was selling the house and moving. They claimed they did not have a cancellation or termination clause and that I had a five-year contract. I disagreed because I never enter long-term contracts. after the move, cpi continued to bill me and threatened to send a $1000 invoice to collections. When I asked for a supervisor, they claimed, they had none. Buyer beware of any company that will not let you cancel or that change terms. Sneaky and greedy. South Carolina.

I was with a competitive company for many years, until their customer experience caused me to fire them. I sent a request to CPI and with in 5 minutes I had a contact from them! Everything the sales rep stated has happened as stated. The installation has been completed, by my opinion, by a person of strong integrity and pride of workmanship, Eddie Williams. CPI and everyone I have had contact with have EXCEEDED my expectations!!!!

Customer service was outstanding! Initially called to get a quote. The gentleman was very helpful. Robyn from NC was my personal consultant who seamlessly walked me through the contract & system installation process—she was fantastic. No issues at all thus far, extremely satisfied with my experience!

Do not sign any contract with CPI security! All they care about is collecting their money. Horrible experience with taking over an account. Then being charged with an exorbitant amount when canceling said account after selling the property of the deceased person.
