Jun 29,2024CPI called me wanting to re-sign a contract for 39 months and they would give me a $500 merchandise credit to use any way I wanted. I was quoted $279 for an outdoor camera. I told him to go ahead and schedule an appointment to install it. Then talking to my wife, she said if we have a $500 credit why not get two cameras and just pay the $58 difference. I called them back and told him what we wanted to add another camera. He added it to the order. Today our account was charged $299. I called and spoke with **** and he said no only one camera was in the deal. If I have a $500 credit, why can't both be covered, and I pay the $58 out of pocket. Again, they refused to honor this so I told them to come get the cameras and I will be canceling all services and he hung up on me. I have already scheduled service with another company with nice equipment and a lower monthly monitoring cost. I have also disputed the $299 charge with my bank, and they assured me I would be refunded. If someone mentions CPI.... RUN! Their service is horrible as well as the customer service! I have sent a cancellation letter into them THREE TIME that they have lost each time. They are still sending me monthly invoices trying to bill me for monitoring service and for equipment they have already picked up and they say they never picked anything up and I have full video footage from our new security company that clearly shows a CPI van and driver picking it up. I have demanded that they cease and desist calling me and harassing me, but they refuse and continue daily. If this does not immediately stop, I am reaching out to the NC attorney general and the local news stations. Response to CPI: I am waiting on someone to contact me. I have spoken with several people including managers and they are no help and rude! They say they will forward this issue to the appropriate department and someone will call me. I've been told that 5 FIVE times and no one has attempted to call me... Not surprised and I'll bet no one will this time either....

Jun 24,2024Internet router rename without permission. Cannot get on the internet. Cannot get on Wi-Fi. All this learn after the technician left the house. Rename my router Wolf my last name only, now everybody knows my last name. Very very disappointed

Jun 24,2024Our technician Michael was great and patient with the complexity of our systems inherited from the previous owners. Only hiccup was our HVAC system operates the opposite of most so we had to reconfigure but took care of that too.
