If I could give this review 100 stars, I would. I recently had a new security system installed on Dataw Island, SC. My installer's name is Mark Graham. Mark installed my system in Blythewood, SC a couple years ago and did an awesome job. Because of that I asked if he would install another in our new home and, without hesitation, he took the 3 hour ride down to Dataw to help us again. Like the first time the installation was again flawless. He took his time analyzed the house and found a way to give us exactly what we wanted and needed. The new system is operating great and providing exactly what we needed. He didn't rush the installation, provided sound advice resulting in easy and good decisions, ensured we were up to speed on how to operate it and meshed together both of our systems before he left. That was around 6 PM. He's much more than a technician. He's a selfless expert who's advice we have depended on since we met him. He's become a friend. You just don't find folks like this everyday. My advice to CPI is to send your new techs out with him and let him drill his unequalled work ethic, professional pride, and customer focus into them. Whatever the top rung of pay for these folks is, pay him 10% more. Neither you or I can afford to lose him. He genuinely cares about his product and his customer. I was updated on the arrival time. The security specialist wore his CPI shirt, and his badge was properly placed to ensure visibility. He kept me abreast on the process. Prior to leaving, he reviewed the key pad; especially arming and disarming. I was able to change my password to deactivate prior to his departure. He asked to use my bathroom and did not leave it a mess. He was very professional.
The installer didn’t give us a choice on the type of door sensor. He installed the type he prefers to install. Which is the white stick on. Stands out like a sore thumb on dark brown doors.

I had cpi install my system September 2023 and was told I had a year contract. I just called customer service support and they said I have a 5 year contract. I have asked for a copy of that contract twice and have not received it. The salesperson talked fast and Iam 100% sure he said a one year contract. Not pleased with the in consistency and not receiving my copy of the contract.
All around great system, great technician
The service tech was great at explaining the system to me. Gave me plenty of time to review until I was completely comfortable. He was very respectful and understanding of my special situation with my husband who has dementia. How to set the parameters so that we are protected.
We are so happy that we switched to CPI. The equipment that they installed in our home is excellent. If we forget to turn on our security alarm at night, CPI will notify us. The monthly cost is very reasonable and I just wish that we had switched to CPI much sooner. I would highly recommend CPI to everyone that wants the best.

Installer was prompt, efficient, cleaned up when done. Had told him my first experience with home security. Spent about 1 minute going over panel and showed me where the tutorials were. I will figure it out, but I expected more. I was in retail/service business for over 40 years. When we made a sale, before we set customer free, we at least gave a thorough walk through so they had a rudimentary understanding of what they had bought. First time customers took longer because of lack of exposure until now. Got the impression he was installer and if I had questions, contact my sales person. Do not believe this is what you want new customers to feel, but nothing stays the same. Maybe this is the new norm.

Tevin Was very smart Helping me to troubleshoot instructing me on how to fix the doorbell. But not only that conveyed a high degree of emotional intelligence and connecting with me to make me feel more secure that this problem wasn't going to keep happening which it had been previously. I now have peace of mind and a secure degree of confidence that CPI will be doing better in the future to make sure my needs get met. This young man definitely deserves a promotion and a raise because this is the first person I've come in contact with since I've been with you guys I have been a loyal customer And this is the first person that I have come in contact with that made me feel secure And you guys have a security company? That speaks volumes to how dedicated i have been to your service but also hoping the day would come that you actually would show up in better quality customer service.that was today and i have been with you for years. I deserve a free upgrade or 2.
Fast and easy
The installation wizard Chuck did an amazing job. He was very patient, had a great sense of humor, went above and beyond. I will recommend Rhonda Goodman and Chuck any day of the week!
We were having difficulty setting up the app. Customer service was extremely knowledgeable and patient. Within a matter of minutes everything was corrected. Certainly appreciate the assistance.

Jul 10,2024We have been a CPI customer for 10 years. I’d just like to say that the ladies I spoke with on 2 different occasions were EXCEPTIONAL in customer service. Takaya was absolutely professional and very personable and completely made my day!! Later that day, I returned a call I missed from CPI while at work and I had the utmost pleasure speaking with India! Not only was she professional, friendly, and personable, she has stayed in contact with me to find a time to get our panel replaced that best works with my work schedule. Kudos to these fine woman who made a single mom’s day just that much better!!! Being in customer service myself, I know first hand it is a very tough job nowadays, and I will always give credit to those who give impeccable service!! Thank you India and Takaya!!!
