That type of interaction makes me feel like the company I’m working with actually cares, and will not ignore my requests once I’m actually set up. She even understood the work schedule I had at hand and was willing to wait me out until my tasks were complete. In addition she had a great sense of humor! 10 stars for sure!

Sep 13,2024After doing extensive research and comparing other companies like DIY, Vivint, and ADT, I chose CPI Security, and I couldn’t be happier. What sets CPI apart, in my opinion, is their verified monitoring with two-way communication during emergencies. That’s the whole point of a security system—knowing someone is there when it counts. Another key factor in my decision was CPI’s support for zWave communication, which most DIY systems don't offer. Now, I feel truly safe in my home with the smart features I wanted. I had the pleasure of working with Karen and David to design the perfect system tailored to my needs, and they were amazing. Michael, my installer, was incredibly patient and detailed, ensuring everything was set up perfectly. Not only was the installation thorough, but my place was left spotless afterward, which I truly appreciated. CPI Security exceeded all my expectations, and I highly recommend them!

Sep 08,2024All CPI equipment stopped working when we stopped monitoring. The doorbell flashes red and green letting the world know we are not monitoring the system. When trying to address the issue of CPI equipment malfunction customer service suggested using black paint to hide the sensor. Additionally, CPI was monitoring our services and let all the door sensors persist with unknown status for months. Not sure what was being monitored at that point . . .

Sep 23,2024CPI Security Is a Shady Organization – Avoid at All Costs! I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with CPI Security that people need to be aware of. I feel completely scammed by their deceptive practices, and it's important to share this so others don't fall into the same trap. When I moved out of my home, CPI recommended that I transfer my service to my tenant. They assured me that I could leave the equipment behind, and the new tenant could continue the service contract, as long as I paid off the equipment. At no point did they mention that this would somehow put me in breach of contract, nor did they explain that I would still be responsible for completing the term of my original contract. Imagine my shock when CPI turned around and **sued me for breach of contract**! On top of that, they sent my so-called "debt" to collections, further damaging my credit. The worst part is that I followed their recommendation to the letter, trusting their expertise, only to find out later that they intentionally left out critical information. This is bottom-of-the-barrel shady behavior. They were more than happy to take my money and push me into what felt like an endless trap. **This company is not transparent, does not care about its customers**, and seems to have no issue scamming people through legal loopholes. If you're thinking about using CPI Security, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. A company that would rather sue and ruin your finances than provide clear communication and honest service is not one worth trusting. Stay far away from CPI Security. They do not have your best interest at heart.
