On October 24, I wrote a review and got a response to the next day that somebody would be glad to reach out to me; however, (1) there’s no way to respond back to that person, (2) the person that responded to me could’ve easily had somebody call but didn’t, and (3) despite calling multiple times and asking people to stop sending me bills on a property that I sold earlier in the year, I continue to get bills sent to me with the latest one being today. If CPI really cares about their customers, they would try to resolve these issues. They owe me a few months of money and continue to harass me saying that I owe them money. Maybe I need to see Donald Trump on them. If they’re reading this email, they know exactly how to contact me and I would appreciate it if they did.

Daniel was excellent. He walked me through the system before he installed it. Once he had completed the installation, he walked me through the system and how it worked. He answered numerous questions. Excellent experience!!!!!

I just bought a house that already had CPI’s system. I was in town to close and leaving the next day. They sent someone out within the hour of my call. Chad came and he was great. Checked and reset everything, Gave me a tutorial and showed me how to work the system. I was very impressed with everything. I had 24 hours in the house with the system and I love the ease of it. Great experience Don’t hesitate.

Tevin was absolutely the best IT help I have ever experienced from any company. He was patient, explained steps very clearly and help set up smart home items that should have been set up years ago with the initial set up that were never set up. He did all this with a nice, friendly attitude.

I am writing a review for CPI security again as a replay from October 1st. We had a storm and after that the cameras didn't work. We called CPI security, who fixed the problem in a few minutes. Even though it was not our fault, but the fault was caused by the storm, they said it would cost an additional $67. The bill arrived today with the due date and penalties. So you know if you want a contract with CPI security, prepare for additional payments even though it is not your fault. We will not extend the contract with CPI even though we have been with them for many years (over 10). Although we will terminate the contract, I will post my review wherever I can in public. CPI security is no longer favorable for us and even less secure. If you respond to my review (CPI) again, please make it public here as well. I will not call you (CPI)by phone because my review is public for the sake of the public. Please make your response to the review public as well. I really can't believe that you respond to the second review with almost the same sentence, which means that you don't read what I wrote to you at all. Please read and answer carefully, because your possible future clients are also reading this. Question: Why do you charge for repairs if it is not the client's fault that the service was suspended (e.g. in my case due to a storm)?????

Bought a 2K wireless doorbell which stated it was compatible with the NVR I purchased. This was not the case. The company disclosed to me that they missed up the new battery doorbell product and it doesn't work with NVRs wirelessly. They said if I hooked it up to a hard wire, it would work. So, I got an election and did just that. It still didn't work. I called back to get a return, and they refused stating it's past the 30 day return timeframe. I escalated to their head office and they decline to allow the return. Thiis should be a class action lawsuit type thing. They are still stating online it works with Fusion NVRs and the original models do not. This customer service is terrible and what they did is beyond wrong!

We have been clients of CPI for a few years, and today I was disappointed in CPI. We live in Nebo, NC and due to the last storm that brought disaster to all of North Carolina we needed CPI intervention because the cameras were not recording on our property. We called CPI and was told it would cost $67.00 due to them have a new payment policy from two months ago and that we have to pay regardless of the fact that the breakdown is not our fault but the weather. First, why did they never send us a notification if they changed something. CPI is becoming a company that doesn't give me security like before. I think CPI is gauging its customers to take advantage of those affected by Hurricane Helene. We are seriously thinking about changing the service. I advise everyone to think before choosing CPI for their service. Choose a service that offers free service if it's not your fault and you don't need them to charge you $67 for half an hour of intervention (without any changes or adding parts and plus it's not your fault that the cameras don't work)
