I have had an annual maintenance contract with the company for several years and have recommended them to other solar panel friends many times. If a failure occurs in the system they are quick to respond and replace faulty parts where necessary.

Mar 22,2025I enquired about an offer sent to me re upgrading my solar panels with a government grant. It all seemed good. Despite giving all information and sending photos, all surveys were done via google maps and when the chaps arrived to do the fitting they had been sent with the wrong equipment requiring a reschedule. The actual fitting went off without a hitch on the 2nd day, though not fully completed on that day I was still expected to pay in full. The installation was fully completed 2 weeks later, however, when I asked when my old panels were being collected for recycling I was told that that was not part of the job as ‘they only sold’. I pointed out it clearly stated in their brochure that recycling was part of the offer I was told I must be looking at a very old brochure. I then pointed out that the brochure in question was the one that the company had sent me at the start of the process (produced April 2024) and there was some prevarication with a vague suggestion that something might be sorted out. Needless to say they were never retrieved for recycling leaving me with a bad taste.

Mar 22,2025The installers arrived on time and were very pleasant and friendly. The Battery, Inverter and Meter were efficiently installed. The installation team did not provide much information other than downloading the Luxpower App. However, a telephone call to the technical department, via sales, was a great help. A callback arranged with the technical department to seek help was never received. An excellent product and highly recommended.

Mar 21,2025I have been a customer of ESE for several years and have had no complaints whatsoever. I've found them to be very polite and friendly on the phone. Also if you have to have a home visit, they are punctual. No waiting in all day to find they don't turn up. Engineers are polite and friendly too. They know their stuff and get on with it. No wasting time etc. Would recommend this company to anyone.

Mar 20,2025First off, materials and workmanship were of the highest quality and cannot be praised higher. BUT communication was poor, although it was always easy to get through on the telephone. It would have been helpful to have the whole calculation of costs and benefits spelled out, on the proposal document there was only a bottom line figure. Assurances given that this included money back on the old solar panels, but details would have helped. Then the old solar panels were left in my garden with the implication that I had to dispose of them. After representations to ESE the scaffolding firm took them away eventually, as a favour. If this is normal it should have been made clear. The obvious implication is that if money is refunded for replacing them, surely the panels themselves should be taken away to prove that they had been replaced.

Engineer identified himself,was smartly attired and respectful of property, knowledgable, but not pushy regarding newer modification, and was polite.
