Horrible and disgraceful experience with everything genetic. Never received the day 2 and day 8 since I return to the il on the 16th of June. Called the costumer service every day (17th 18th 19th) and informed that the kit would have been dispatched in the next 12 hours. I spent 50 minutes on the queue each time that I contacted them (which was about 6-7 times in the last 3 days). The kit never arrived (today is the 20th of June). Track and trace team advices me to contact 119 and ask for a replace kit for day 2 and day 8, which I did. I already purchased the day 5 test to released kit and I am really sorry I won't receive the result back in time (by reading the other negative reviews).. Never ever use this company!
We ordered two test to release kits which arrived on time. We do feel a bit mislead by the idea that one has to wait ‘12-36’ hours for results. It would have been much more helpful to tell us that it can take (and will take) 24 hours for Royal Mail to deliver the sample to arrive at the lab and so we should factor that in, in addition to a further 36 hours for the result. So in fact, we should expect to wait a total of 2 days and a half until we get a result. That doesn’t sound so speedy. Everything Genetic do not tell you when/if the sample has arrived and so you are left wondering and refreshing your inbox for days. We only discovered the reality of the situation after mastering how to get through to a human on their number (don’t press 5 for a call back - they do not call back). The outcome: disappointed friends and family and cancellations to our weekend plans.
Good customer service they took the time to answer all of my questions and was very clear of the process. Results were seen on my account within the time frame and a email was sent.
Amazing company. It seems like they have such a good caring dedicated customer service team. I have used this company on multiple occasions and without fail they have always pulled through and done as promised. I will continue to use them for all my COVID testing requirements and will recommend them to anyone. Results always produced in the 12-36 hours from receipt at the lab via my email or my online portal. Thank you for always being a phone call or email away everything genetic customer care team and a big thanks to the 4 girls I always get through too Jayde, Sophia, Charlie & Shannon your dedication and enthusiasm to help me knows no bounds.
No response to emails, unclear instructions, test result comes back much later than promised
This company is an absolute disgrace. They cannot give you the service that is promised on their website. We have been waiting now for over 36 hours to receive the results of our tests and have not received a thing. I have sent numerous emails without avail! Do not use this company if you are planning to fly out of the UK… It seems we are now having to rebook our flight at extra cost plus extra cost of the PCR tests because of the negligent way this company is treating this service. It is a disgusting state of affairs We eventually received the negative results, four and half hours after the 36hours stated.. The anxiety and anguish caused by this delay goes far and beyond what words can describe. I stand by my initial heading, and would definitely not recommend using this company again!!
I registered and payment was taken on Sunday 23rd May at 09:52 to enable a Day 2 test to be with us on our return to the UK on Sunday 30th May. Next email dated 30 May at 12:26 to say test should be with me in next 1-2 days On 1st June phone message received it would be delivered between 08:44 and 12:44 on 2 June - nothing! Nor the next day. It arrived in standard Royal Mail post on 4 June (4 days after arrival back). Despite being outside the Day 2 requirements I sent the swab test back and as at today’s date have still not heard anything by text or email. On looking at their responses to the poor reviews I see their justification is that they post the results on their website, and sure enough it is on there dated 6 June (Day 6 or 7 depending when Day 1 is) - pointless for a Day 2 requirement! We had emailed them initially re the whereabouts of our results and subsequently the fact they failed to enable us to meet the Day 2 deadline requirement would like a response - nothing. For a Company that had used email and texts to contact us before, why they subsequently become contact shy post-testing suggests a lack of respect to the paying public. Whilst they are listed on the gov.uk list, it is worth pointing out there is also the option to feedback problems with companies getting results back.
My initial rating was going to be excellent based on the speed of the customer support team in sending one of the 2 “fit to fly” testing kits that had inadvertently not been sent. The pleasant correspondence I had with the agent was all one could wish for when something seemed not to have worked right. All of this was then spoilt by the “too” late delivery (over 8 hours later than the permissible 72 hours from test to result) of my test, which could have led to my wife and I not being able to leave the country as planned. Of course, one can always blame any delay on the postal service, but this service is contracted by Everything Genetic, as all return tests are sent using a pre-paid box sent with the test kit. Even asking the same person in the Customer Support Team didn’t bring any urgency to the matter. Just a stock answer of test results will be provided between 12 to 36 hours after acceptance of the test in our labs”. Should I visit the UK again during the current restrictions I would definitely not use this company for any testing purposes and would recommend anyone else to think 2ce before deciding on using their services. reference number, 2745
I arrived in the UK on the Saturday before a Bank Holiday Monday. The Bank Holiday Monday was my Day 2 but didn't actually receive the Day 2 test until the afternoon of Day 4 when i also received my Day 5. Maybe with a bit of forward thinking the additional stress could have been averted and the test arrive before the Bank Holiday ready to be used on the correct day.

DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY, this is a SCAM. They will take your money, not even provide you with a result. Totally unacceptable how they are on the approved list.
I must say I was concerned that the process would take much longer than expected, however we dropped off our test at the site and very friendly man picked them up. It then took less that 12 hours to get the results back. Well done 👍 fantastic job and would highly recommend
This service is NOT as advertised The aim was a test on DAY 5 to release The test ARRIVED on DAY 6 The results received on DAY 13! I will be applying for a refund for not providing the service as advertised
The test arrived late. I did chase them, but no reply. Had to make other arrangements, so complete waste of money. Contacted them twice to ask about a refund, again no reply.
Credit where credit's due, our day 8 tests were an altogether better experience than our day 2 tests. Our day 8 was Sunday, so we put our tests (family x4) in the post on Sunday, knowing that they would not be collected until Monday at the earliest. This time I made a note of the Royal Mail tracking numbers, so i could keep track of when they arrived in Birmingham. The tests only arrived in Birmingham on Tuesday morning, however we had received 3 of 4 test results by Tuesday night, with the 4th result coming through on Wednesday morning. That was about as good as it could be, when relying on Royal Mail delivery...
A very helpful company that responded quickly when I had a question
The system needs to accomodate changes to the rules. When the government moved Portugal from Green to Amber, there should have been an option to upgrade from a Day 2 to a Day 2 & Day 8 kit. Also to make changes to flight details. I would have thought it was obvious that such a change would cause travellers a lot of stress and Everthing Genetic were unable to cope. It was impossible to get any reply to phone calls or emails. One positive thing is that the results for the Day 2 test (sample picked up from post box 4.30p.m. June 14th ) were received by 10a.m. June16th. I didn't quite expect that after all the hassle we had with earlier dealings with the company
We ordered 6 x Day 2 Tests having come back from Portugal (when still green). Completed the tests and sent off the next day recorded delivery. It has now been 8 days and we have only been notified the results of 2 out of the 6 tests. Do not rely on this company for fast results.
Do NOT use. I booked a fit to fly test. The test result was not downloadable and I’ve spent three hours on the phone trying to reach a support line which never answered. In the end, in order not to miss my flight I had to book another provider with a 3h turnaround time for GBP 250. Extremely poor service - I wish I had read the other reviews before.
