Ref 3658 I found this company for my day 5 release test (14.06.) on the gov.uk website and chose it because they offered the cheapest release test. 13.06. I received message that my test kit would arrive on test day by 3pm. I was concerned the kit would arrive quite late and had preferred it to arrive a day or two earlier! 14.06. The kit arrived before 9 AM and had clear and informative instructions. I was relieved the kit had arrived in the morning. I sent it off before 10 AM. In the evening I received an email request from EGL to review them on Trustpilot. I replied to them I would only review them when I get my test result. 15.06. No results received but within their time frame...read Trustpilot reviews and got horrified by the poor experiences of others. I braced myself for similar disappointments and saw myself asking for my money back. I did notice though that EGL did reply to most reviews which I found encouraging. 16.06. I received my negative test result via SMS and email at 5:31. Such a relief! I feel the company is genuinely trying to put things right. In my personal case they adhered to their word and provided the service they said they would. Very sorry though for the disappointing experiences of others. I used a different company for day 2 and 8 tests - they are threatening with legal actions as their reviews are so bad. I still haven't received my day 2 results from the them. At least EGL are responding to feedback. I trust EGL will continue to put things right and increase their response time to same/next day service... but hopefully the time where we all won't need these tests anymore will come soon!🙏
We ordered and paid for a day 2 test. Despite ordering in time it did not turn up until day 5. Tried calling but was number 35 in the queue. Had to email several times before getting a response. Gave 2 stars as we received a refund.
I ordered 2 x Day 2 Tests for use on arrival home from Portugal- when it was Green. Portugal went to Amber second day I was there, need day 8 test. Tried by email and telephone to speak to EGL, acknowledged my contact saying would get back to me, still nothing. As I had to prove purchase of both tests, I re- ordered 2 x Day 2 and Day 8 tests, hoping I can get a refund on the 2 x extra Day 2s- still not able to contact anyone to discuss the matter Not very helpful when stressed out about getting home with all the right paperwork for PLFs!

The service has been very poor. I ordered 4 day 2 tests for my family at £59 each . They were due to be delivered on the 31st to be used on the 1st June but weren't received until the 2nd June. They were returned on the 3rd. The results were received today - the 15th June. Totally useless if any had been positive.
None of my tests arrived on time and I didn't receive any results once I did receive them and send back.
They sent the kits over a week later then the scheduled delivery date. Ignored all calls and email and refused to refund.
Avoid this company! I did receive my 2 tests on day 2, and I received my results for day 2 on time, HOWEVER, I did not receive my day 8 results until now, almost 3 weeks later! I tried to call the company to find out where my results were, but you cannot speak to anyone it is just a voice mail box that says it will call you back. I did this 7 times and never received a call back. I emailed their support team, nothing apart from an automated email. I finally got a response last night when I threatened to report them to track and trace. I now have my negative results almost 3 weeks late, very useful.. I asked for a refund but was told I had to go through Medicines online, for which they had no contact details for. AVOID AVOID AVOID. £170 wasted and potentially put the public at risk.
Used this company for our 5 day Test to Release. Package arrived a day before needed. Our Day 5 was a Saturday so the samples did not arrive at the lab until the Monday morning. Results form one test appeared by r email and text at 5 pm the other at 12 noon on the Tuesday- well within the 30 hour promise. Testing doen at the Nonacus Labs in Birmingham.
My test came really late i couldn’t do my day 2 and day 5 on time , i received 2 day 8 , i got an email to say that if the test didn’t arrived on time i will get refund, i contact your company for the refund , the lady said that it wasn’t possible to do it . I will not recommend your company and i will not book my next test as I’m flying to England every month
Avoid this co at all cost. Ordered day-2 PCR test, it arrived two days late and nearly two weeks post-test, we still haven't received the results. Shocking.
Reference 3606 Last May 31st I ordered a "test to release" on line. The first problem was that the form just asked for my "home" address, which is different from the "delivery" address. I realised after the payment was complete and couldn't change it. I wrote immediately to modify the address without receiving any answer. Even after realising the address I gave them was not in the UK they failed to contact me. I needed to insist on the phone, which took me a good while of waiting, but eventually managed to have the address changed. The test arrived on time, so I followed the procedure and sent my sample. I know it reached them because the Royal Mail confirmed it. And that was it; I never got the result, either positive or negative, which caused great inconvenience, since I needed to finish the quarantine earlier. Finally, after the 10-day mandatory quarantine was over, I contacted again by email to complain and ask for a refund but, again, I never got an answer. As a result of all this I am absolutely disappointed with this company's service and will never choose or recommend them again.
Sampling tube arrived with a week delay. No notification that results had arrived.
(Ref 3351). I used this service for "Day 2" and 'Day 8" testing when travelling back from the Middle East. The tests results tests were completed on time, however there was no email notification received (I had checked the spam folders...) and - when I tried to call the customer care number, my call was terminated after 1 hour in a queue: extremely frustrating. To their credit, I then had a follow up email exchange with James who was very responsive and prompted me to check the results to their portal and the unclarity was quickly addressed, hence the 3 stars instead of 1.
Ref 3268 Very Slow Issuing of Results 08:34 Thurs 3 Jun Sample received by company 11:15 Fri 4 Jun Lab report completed 12:50 Sun 6 Jun Results eMail received. It took over 3 days for company to process. This was after my sending two reminders. This is outwith the 12-36 hours stated on the website.
Never received my 5-day test to release kit
Mixed views on their PCR services. Efficient in some ways, but poor experience of their call line and notifications systems. Both need to be overhauled. Ordered C-19 Testing Kit late May 21 for Day 2 and Day 8 tests during self-isolation on arrival from outside the UK. Kits arrived promptly. Instructions clear. Was not however informed by email or SMS of the Day 2 result. Called the customer service line (early June). Automated systems were not working. Put on hold, told that I was third in line but stayed as such indefinitely and never managed to get answered. Also call back system malfunctioning. Opted for this three times but never got the call back. Eventually found my result by logging into my Everything Genetic account. Contacted company by email to inform them of the problems with their help line and to request a notification for my Day 8 result. Received an email for the Day 8 result. Results for both days recorded less than 24 hours after receipt of the used test kits, well within the company's commitment to produce result within 36 hours.
Easy to order online. Delivered the next day. Got our results by email and text 24h later. The instructions for activating the test kits on the enclosed leaflet and the website did not match and were not totally clear. Also had a high price. Otherwise very satisfied. They provided a certificate which was accepted by the airline we used and the foreign government.
