Pre booked a taxi 2 days before New Year’s Eve for pick up and they failed to collect us. I rang 20 mins after scheduled pick up time was late and they confirmed driver was coming in 15 mins and the driver never showed. Very disappointing as you rely on pre booking a taxi on such a busy day.
Booked a taxi for midday to shrewsbury train station, car didn't arrive until 12.25. To late to make my train (12.40). So I had to pay for another train ticket. The attitude of the call handler and driver was dreadful. Did complain to go care, usual sincere apologies. Sincere b.s. more like. Don't waste your time or money (£20 for new train tickets)
ordered a taxi boxing day phone and asked for it early was told no problem waited 2 hours and then they cancelled it and still waiting for it to be refunded disgusting behaviour never using again
Livid doesn’t come close, I become paralyzed from the waist down 6 months ago and am new to the wheel chair but Ordered a taxi at 10am taxi arrived on time for the taxi driver to cut me off talking to him told him I needed to go to cash point to get cash out then he huffed and tried to get me to go to a different cash point but I can’t as only can go to Santander. He got my wheel chair out to slam my wheel chair out for me to get in it but I needed help up the kirb as there was no drop down kirb. He then said “f sake” to get me off the road I gave him cash after cash point he then slammed the change in my hand it then went everywhere on floor. I realized then my key was in the back of the taxi I rang and complained about it and told them about the key I called 8 hours after I had been dropped off to be told he was out of area and to call back in half hour. He knew that was my only key and I’m in a wheel chair barring in mind. It’s now 9pm and I’ve called about 20 times to be told there’s nothing they can do but had about 5 helpful people who tried but some off the staff on the phones were disgusting!!! I was crying saying I need my key as my tablets are due at 9pm and I have a brain injury and paralyzed so I need my medication. To be told I’m in hysterics and they no longer had anything else to say to me and they weren’t sure if he’s on tomorrow!! Now how this company is still going after all these serious complaints I’ve been reading and told is beyond me. I am now going to be awake all night with the pain of my fractured skull and bleeds on brain. It feels and seems like the taxi driver didn’t like I had complained and then punished me by keeping my ONLY key!!!!! How do I know he doesn’t go to my house and put cameras or anything like that as the things I’ve heard about some drivers are disgusting. Will be taking my complaint further and will never use a taxi rank again for knocking my confidence so much! Thanks go car
Mom phoned for a taxi this morning at 4:45am to go to A&E, she was told there's a delay... the taxi turned up at 8:30am!!!! She was sat in agony for over 3 and a half hours waiting. She asked the driver if they've been busy, and he said no. Disgusting service, especially when they can see it's to go to A&E!!
Awful!! I’d give zero stars if I could.. Booked taxi week before to pick me up at 11:45pm (£36). Fast forward to 11:45 of the night, no taxi arrived. Called several times to be informed your taxi is on its way, got a message at 1am your taxi has been cancelled as I wasn’t there. I’d been standing in the same place for 1hr 15mins. Rang again, they told me again it’s been cancelled we’ll send you a new one which finally arrived at 1:30am, this time costing me £53. Oh and then we got pulled over by the police because he had no taillights!!! Shocking taxi company. avoid!!!!!
Lucky dip if this company turns up at night time. We are scared 2 book these days as let down so many times. Now only book if we have a back up plan which had to use again last night when the booking was cancelled again after prebooking earlier in the afternoon. Just rubbish and they need competition in the area.
Ordered a taxi at least a couple of hours in advance to pick me up to take me to a Christmas party organised with friends. We had to preorder the food at the venue too. Taxi didn't turn up at all, over an hour after the meal had started and I'm still sat there waiting for the taxi to be dispatched. It just said 'searching for car' the entire time. Eventually gave up a d couldn't go to the Christmas party but the taxi app still took the money for the journey which I've now got to wait to get back and I was charged for the food at the party. So I've paid for a load of **** all. Terrible taxi servce.
I would trust a catholic priest with a choir boy more than I'd trust this company to provide a good service.
Had a couple of cabs tonight 1st 1 white Skoda no heater no fan driver couldn't see where he was going last cab home tried to double the fair for a 2 minutes stop his badge wasn't in order why do they always want cash hummmmm be warey
Had a taxi booked to take me to work this morning which first off, it was late (they normally are so I was expecting it), but then when I get in, the driver has the audacity to tell me that they cancelled the booking because I apparently "took too long" and that I should get out of the vehicle, then proceeded to drive off and make me book a new one. Terrible company, do NOT recommend.
Absolutely awful do not use. Prebooked taxi at 4.40Pm for 11.30pm got confirmation that it's no problem stood in -3 degrees waiting but no show called them to be told that they don't allocate cars until 10 minutes before due waited extra hour and nothing and they hung up on me when I called again as it's there policy, 4th time I have had a no show!! Don't use rubbish!!
Dangerous! I was waiting for my taxi at 2am outside, then I got a cancellation confirmation saying I was a non turn up at 1 minute passed 2. This meant I walked home alone. This cannot be allowed to happen. I have made a complaint but they have not looked into or spoke to the driver, indicating that I was not there. They are dangerous, people are falling in the river and women are being attacked walking home. How can this be allowed?
If I could give less than one star I would. Booked a taxi to take my daughter to and from an event. The first taxi arrived more than 15 minutes late. The taxi for the way back was early. My daughter is 15, so I tried to call her and say it was there early. Her phone had died. I asked the taxi driver if he could just knock the door. He said he wouldn't waste time knocking at that time of night. Instead he chose to leave a 15 year old girl stranded (I dont drive) and leave before the pick up time had even arrived. Rude driver and disgusting service. Don't use them.
I mean read the reviews, there right. Advertise a 4 minute wait and pick you up 2 hours later. Consistently unreliable is the only thing you can rely on with go carz. If I could give 0 stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. Definitely DO NOT recommend this taxi service. What is the point in having a prebooking service when they don't turn up?! Pre-booked for 7.30am, 7.40 taxi still not turned up. Rang, said they were "round the corner" 15 mins later, no taxi still, so rang again, now another 8 mins. Then it changed to another 30 mins. Full of lame poor excuses each time I called. Should have read the previous reviews beforehand, maybe I wouldn't have been so surprised at how shocking their service is. If you need to be somewhere (which I'm presuming that's the whole intention of using a taxi) you'd get more chance of getting there on a unicorn than having NO-GO cars turning up.
I booked a taxi with Go Carz 24 hours in advance to ensure I could get to an important meeting on time the following day. Unfortunately, the next day there was no sign of a taxi 30 minutes after the time booked, so I called the base, only to be informed by an apathetic member of staff that a car hadn't even been allocated yet! Luckily, there are other taxi firms in my local area so I cancelled the booking with Go Carz and hired a taxi from another company, which arrived 10 minutes after my phone call and saved the day. If you have alternatives, avoid Go Carz like the plague!
Please do not dare to let GoCarz call it a service….it is not. Our hotel booked us a taxi for 7pm at about 5pm,they told us that the drivers don’t wait and suggested we should be outside five minutes early. So on a miserable, chilly November evening we stood outside. Several times I went back to reception and they phone, to be told 10 minutes. A car eventually arrived at 7.35 and I cannot fault the driver. When we arrived st our destination we asked them to book a cab for us for 10.30. They did this by 8.30. We were outside by 10.25. Several calls later, we were still waiting, in the rain, until well after 11pm. In the end the manager drove us back to the hotel. Embarrassing for both the hotel and the restaurant and unfair on us. We will never use them again, they don’t deserve business. Sadly there is no competition. I am going to find the council that control them and put in a complaint

Jan 04,2023Dear Sirs The car I booked on 14/11, trusting you to be punctual and to provide the service you are expected to in return for your client to pay their fair fee, arrived approximately 15 minutes late. I missed my 6:30am train to London Euston by 2minutes. Though I received confirmation for the booking, all the updates for the assigned driver show a failure at your end to ensure a successful transaction and a good service. - by the moment the car was due to pick me up, after my call to your operator (6:02am) the vehicle model was changed from a Skoda (6:02am) to a Toyota (6:12am) Although during the 6:02 call to your operator you advised an (pick up) ETA of 2min, your driver called to advise at least 5 min. It clearly appears that this booking has not been properly handled by A2B Carz to ensure customer’ satisfactory experience. This kind of situation clearly put your client back against the wall leaving them with no choice but forcing them to accept AND pay for what is now a poor service, a failure to deliver which could have terrible consequences on their professional situation and alternatively, impact their personal life especially in such difficult times. I consider but cannot accept the consequences nor the impact of your timetable changes on your clients: on me, my employment nor on my family. No back up option was deployed for instance. - Despite your driver speeding up, a £14 fare for a journey that usually averages £12.30 to make sure I do not miss my 6:30am train, this was inevitable and I had to rebook on the 7:10am to London Euston. - Instead of 7:54am, I arrived in London at 8:43am where I am expected to be by 8:30 as the latest. Your 15 minute delay lead to 49min lateness for a journey that usually allows me to be 30 minutes early at my office: missing staff briefing and a customer scheduled meeting Please find attached screenshots supporting my complaint and my request to be fully refunded for the journey completed and will define the nature of our “relationship”: should there be any in the future.
