this is how they allow a 83 year old disabled woman who is recovering from multiple strokes live in there property and refuse to do any of structural repairs is has been an on going issue of lack of maintenance over multiple years and would rather use all there resources to evict her

Everything you would expect from a greedy corporate landlord that are making the most of the cost of living and housing crisis with bigger yearly profits for shareholders and the CEO. They even had rent increases during the lockdown/pandemic and didn't even bother to ask if any of the tenants in the block where I rented a studio (St Anne's - Brighton) were okay during that time. Also the only people allowed to continue working during the pandemic were the builders (Focus Group) as the block was still being renovated and they let themselves in without calling before hand. They weren't wearing masks and I only realised when I wanted to use the bathroom that they had let themselves in. They just looked at me is if I had disturbed them working and I had to wait until they finished so I could use the toilet. In addition, the property management staff I dealt with on their 6 month inspections seemed to be on a power trip acting as if they actually own the property. Then they withheld much of the deposit for unknown reasons. Basically the demand for rental properties is so high Grainger PLC take advantage and this trickles down to the property managers because there's an endless supply of tenants. Pathetic and possibly the worst landlord (property investment company) in the UK.
I was very pleased to work with Miss Molli, she is very responsive and attentive and takes the time to answer questions. She quickly helped me find my apartment.
Fiona was great, kept us up to date with properties which matched our requirements, and made the sign-up process really clear and easy for us. Also had a lovely approachable manner during our viewings. She was an excellent representative for Grainger.
Nathan, the agent at Abbeville in Barking, needs a promotion. As a nurodivergent, with some invisible disabilities, Nathan went above and beyond to advocate my additional needs to Grainger bosses. He not only asked questions to understand what my needs were, never was anything too much or not possible for Nathan. He had a "lets try" approach. Considering agents work on commission, it was clear Nathan works on providing a service to potential tenants first and foremost. He trys to meet the need first, before any offer is put, without any hard sell or false promises to the tenant. You are assured, by the time of putting in an offer, what is or is not possible because Nathan has done the ground work to establish expectations first and keep you informed. All without any guarantee youd even put in an offer. That's true sales person, one that treats each tennat as an individual, listens to understand, not listens to sell. One who aims to solve the problem to meet your needs first, without pushing any false sales tactics. Just an all round pleasantly positive, approachable, patient and understanding agent who in my view deserves all the commission and more. Nathan is top tier, A class property agent at Grainger. What a pleasure it was to work with such a hardworking, skilled, kind, and personable gentleman. Thank you, Nathan, for your customer first approach. You help make Abbeville is a renters heaven.

We have been waiting for a repair for our leaking toilet for 4 months (which is our only toilet in the property) and they’ve scheduled the repair and then cancelled on the day of the repair 5 times now, it’s ridiculous. They don’t care for people living in their property in unhygienic conditions. Have spoken to customer services numerous times and nothing has changed, they reschedule the appointment and then cancel it on the day again. Do not rent with them, by the sounds of it, we’re not the only people who have had an awful experience with them.
Very good letting experience so far, Deanne who was helping me with getting it arranged was friendly and responsive, and the reception staff were very accommodating and welcoming.
I have been with Grainger for over 5 years, but the last 3 have been the worst experience imaginable. I was unaware of their declining reputation until I experienced it firsthand. From what I have seen, they appear to seek out fake positive reviews to bury the overwhelming number of negative experiences from real customers. I am not writing this review to unfairly criticize but to share the truth about how I have been treated. The communication is messy, misleading, and unreliable. They have made false allegations and will do everything possible to evict you if you complain about fair issues. I strongly advise against dealing with this company. If you take the time to look beyond the surface of their reviews, you will find countless personal experiences that expose their true nature. Don’t be fooled by the positive ones at first glance , scroll down far enough, and you’ll see the real pattern. Grainger is a company that engages in bullying, gaslighting, and complete disregard for the well-being of its customers. Avoid them at all costs.
Scammers and will give you the stupidest reason to take money from your deposit. The staffs are all terrible at their jobs - they are all clueless, does not want to listen to their residents, and has ZERO common sense. STAY AWAY unless your willing to do their jobs for them cause they won't do anything and will just try to scam you.
Grainger were always super quick to schedule any repairs when needed, and our building manager Mark was always a very reliable guy. The only reason it isnt 5 stars is just the hot water would stop a bit too often for our liking and little issues around the site with the gate would come up, but thats minimal and overall id definitely recommend
I've just moved out from a Grainger managed property after 3 years and I have nothing but praise for the property management team. Luke Pollard who's been managing my flat has been truly exceptional from start to finish. He's called me even before I moved in to welcome me in and talk me through the process. He's been absolutely stellar and responsive about every issue, big or small, that I raised. He's truly gone above and beyond to make my experience positive. You're truly in luck if Luke is managing your property as it's not often you get someone so dedicated and supportive in the rental market. Same has to be said about the concierge team, especially Harry and Mick. Harry always helped me out with small issues around the house and made sure any packages delivered got to me. He'd knock on my door if I'd forgotten to collect anything, and was always so kind and positive. The same has to be said about Mick. He was the person that handed me the keys to the flat, and and luck would have it, was the person I handed the keys back to when I moved out. He's helped me lots, especially when I locked myself out once and he's quickly helped me get back in so I wouldn't stand in the evening cold. Absolutely tremendous team!
