You are doing OK. Far better for me than when I became nominee. The one suggestion is to group the daily services into one list instead of the nominee having to approve, in my case, 4 each week.This way I can approve 1 a week instead of four. The other clients may have a greater number or even several participants. Years ago an Adelaide retailer sent monthly accounts using the alphabet as the date for sending the account.By way of elaborating. If the surname starts with A, the account was sent on the first day of the month...B was on the second day etc. Q was lumped with R and Y and Z were combined. This left several days at the end of the month to tydy things up. Cheers Trevor for Kim

I think you are doing a great job, just check on people that have no qualifications and are working with clients that cannot feed back as sometimes they are eg. being ignored and just pushed around a shopping centre, or carer is on phone whole time and not giving client any attention.

For me the people who have helped me have been very nice and respectful of me. I am aware they are getting paid. So it is nice from these people to be treated with respect and dignity.

Find it hard to get good workers , ones that want to work , not just the fun things , show pwd how to cook , or clean , don’t sit back work alongside model for them . Have had some fantastic ones , but then they move on .

Hire up job lists are impossible to get. I have tried many times to enter "interested" but never have any replied. I wonder how many people are in the boat, just look at the number of interested in every job listed. My conclusion is there are too many carers for the amount of jobs available. It is a waste of time to participate in Hireup job search.

Hireup should employ review system such as eBay. Families/clients should be able to upload the feedback on the Support Workers they had so that future users can read the feedback on the Support Workers if they want to hire them. With Support Workers, everyone says great things about themselves but half of them don't even respond when asked their availability, interests in the shifts. If they are so great, I expect them to show some manner & respect to the families/clients who only need to know "yes" or "no". Hireup shouldn't let these unprofessional "Support Workers" do whatever they want.
