Jan 31,2020Wendy my carer is prompt courteous and extremely thoughtful, she understands that I am often unable to speak and I require a very special diet, she goes to extremes to make sure my needs are met. I have no worries about her being around my home with personal information left out as I am too ill to put it away, her respect is awesome. Wendy does shopping for me and picks up my medications as well as raids my landlords garden for that ever so fresh organic vegetables as well. My home is left spotless when her time is up and I look forward to her next visit.

Jan 31,2020I like using Hireup and it works well and very simple to operate once you have found a support worker. My only grievance is that we as users looking for support workers, often Put a great deal of effort into contacting potential workers and writing messages. Only to then not receive any response from many support workers contacted. It would be ideal if support workers, when for whatever reason not wanting to work with the client, at least replies back, saying so. It is quite frustrating to spend time preparing a message and then not getting a response back. Perhaps also if there are tips available on how best to develop a message going out to a potential worker that will maximise at least getting a response. Even a simple response saying “thanks for contacting me, but I am not interested in working with you” or am busy during that period.
