Thank you to Cheryl Myskiw for absolutely first class support with my claim. The communication was very clear, easy to fill out claim form and attaching pictures was easy too. The follow up e mails were very timely as well as the settlement of the costs.

From the initial contact, due to hailstorm damage on a conservatory roof, John Arundale and his colleagues have been helpful, courteous and professional in the way they have dealt with my insurance claim. I can only report as I find and I have to say that I would recommend them highly to anyone else.

What a shambles of a company don’t contact you, you have to chase them, they then lie and eventually give you a verbal quot for repair (assessor did not even take measurements)which was 2/3rd's less then the cost of replacement from a company to us. Our claim is not even for a roof so why do Aviva use them They also won’t give a written detailed quotation so we can check it’s replacing the damaged existing like for like Yet want you to send them one if you have the ordasity to say I don’t think you have this correct and then go local for an independent price.

John Arundel dealt most sympathetically with my claim for a new front door. The door had been broken down by the police to retrieve the body of my sister who had been lying for some time. As she had only replaced her doors an windows with Anglia in 2015 I chose them for my new door. They are not the cheapest but John immediately signed off my claim and paid all by the VAT to me immediately even though, at that point I had only paid a deposit to Anglian. Once the job was done 6 weeks letter on submit tal of the VAT invoice the rest of the claim was also styled immediately. I am very pleased with the service I received.

Visited by James Lavender of HRNL to assess flood damage. First class professional who obviously knew his onions. Explained exactly what he was doing, really good comms just keeping me up to speed. Trustworthy, friendly and switched on... would definitely recommend James and HRNL.

The surveyor they got to look at the damage for the insurance claim had no communication or customer service skills. He took photos of the roof with a camera on a giant stick, didn’t physically look at the roof or show me the pictures of the damage or explain what he observed. His only words where “wear and tear claim declined buy a new roof “ Very helpful “not” and his detailed explanation is passed to the insurance company who then accept it. My detailed advice is avoid Aviva and this company if wanting insurance or making a claim.

Have never made a claim on my home insurance in 38 years so was not expecting too much! I had damage to a flat roof which caused a significant leak. My claim was handled quickly and efficiently by Gemma and John. Very happy with how it went….
