I had an internal survey carried out by James Lavender as I had damage due to a flood. He was very helpful and explained the whole process clearly.

Disgraceful company, when we got their work independantly audited from other companies, the reports clearly show HRNL delibretly falsify reports in order to get further work. Their work needed to be re-done by a professional company afterward, at our cost. They stonewall you when you complain via email to get issues resolved. No idea how this company has positive reviews here, in comparison to google listing (1.6* out of 5) this place smells of paid reviewers!

Terrible customer service. They claimed that there was no damage to my roof. I subsequently hired an independent chartered surveyor, who said there was clearly storm damage and that it was inconceivable they couldn't have seen this. When they turn up they will not have the correct tools for the job so will not be able to find a leak (the roof is too high!). I suggest you email the MD Ian Hogarth @hrnl.co.uk with your complaints. ------ Additional - saw the reply from the MD and have emailed the details of my issue with HFN. I'm still very annoyed but the fact senior management take an interest sees me bump up my rating by one star.

The MyAviva app claim was quickly referred to HRNL who contacted me very quickly to arrange a site visit assessment. They kept me informed of the process and date to fix the issue through a third party supplier. All parties in the supply chain were professional, quick and easy to deal with.
