Simplicity
The room was clean and well stocked. The bed was comfortable. The lighting could have been better.Maybe an overhead light would have been helpful. The walls between rooms seemed well insulated, but I could hear everything going on upstairs. As for the breakfast that left a lot to be desired. The staff was courteous and very helpful.
Thought I was booking with the hotel directly and did not realize it was with HotelPlanner. Had to bump my stay one night from Monday to Tuesday and they made it as difficult as possible and only gave me a partial refund for the first night and charged me more for the re-book. Terrible company, I will make sure to never book a hotel again using them. Please do yourself a favor and avoid HotelPlanner at all costs.

Lea was very informative as we are visiting the area because my husband is having surgery and we don't know yet whether he will need to stay 1 or 2 nights. She said to reserve the lesser of the stay and if he needs to stay another night, ask for an extension. She also told me that if I don't know if he's being discharged by the check out time of 11am to ask for a delayed checkout. Great job, Lea!

Update: I provided the documentation they asked for, then all communication ceased. Still no refund. Original comment:When I did a search for the hotel I wanted to stay at, the number for this company popped up. During my call I was misled into thinking I was dealing with the hotels reservation service. I specifically asked for a refundable reservation and was told I'd get one. When the email confirmation came in, I found that I was lied to and the company would keep about 40% of the reservation cost. Also, I found out they charged nearly 2x what the hotel normally charges, and the hotel doesn't require payment until a week before the 1st day of the stay. Called them back to try to get a full refund, and a month later after many emails I still don't have one, and am losing about $2200. I recommend running away from this company.

I have had to stay here several times during the last several months for hospital visits. To a person your team has been gracious, helpful and accommodating! We are going through a fairly stressful time and to stay where we now feel at home is o helpful!
I booked online, selecting a 2 single standard accessible, balcony, half board (exact wording), non cancellable. After paying and receiving my confirmation it states Room Only!!. I have contacted the customer service desk 3 times who all read off the same text but confirm room only and will not give me a refund as I chose non cancellable, which is fair enough if I was getting what I expected and paid for. It's been escalated to a department you cannot speak to but they just send generic emails telling me enjoy my stay! My hotel stay is next week so this is very worrying. This company are miss selling rooms.....I am still able to 'book' this hotel package on their website. Disgraceful.

Unable to get the right refund for a change in our reservation, just changed date, a week prior to our arrival and they still charged me for an entire night, the new reservation says free cancellation!!! Such a screwed up system!! Do not book here, book direct.
