Nov 21,2020I purchased the Garden Gazebo Hardtop Sunset Deluxe loft grey, 3x3m. I was able to e mail before purchase to ask some questiosn and these were answered by e mail to my satisfaction so I made the order. The package arrived in the time specified, though the extra net curtains were not included. I contacted the seller and they advised the item was out of stock and would follow. The product is good quality overall. Construction from flat pack was hampered by some of the extrusions having very slight imperfactions. Once these were identified they could be mitigated by brute force (opening up the slot into which the polycarbonate slides where it was too narrow, and cutting the reinforcing ribs of the polycarbonate with a garden scissors to faciliate the polycarbonate sliding into the extrusion slot if the extrusion was slightly rotated) I had some difficulty getting the very last polycarbonate sheet to fit and had to cut half an inch off it. Once constructed this is a high quality gazebo and looks good, I anticipate it will last for many years. Though I was able to put the gazebo together mostly by myself it will be a lot easier and quicker with two people and two step ladders.

Nov 21,2020I was nervous when I saw some other reviews. I have found the support from the German team impeccable. These are difficult times.. we are really pleased with the tent and when I had difficulties with the ordering process the team were unfailingly polite, patient and helpful.

Nov 19,2020With government restrictions on meeting inside, my husband and I decided the only way we would be able to spend quality time with our parents was to invest in a gazebo. We searched around and chose one from House of Tents - it was more expensive than others we saw online (£419.99) but we thought by spending extra, we would receive a higher quality product. How wrong we were and what a nightmare it has been since. The product arrived and we put it up. All seemed relatively straightforward. We called our kids to come and have a look and as the four of us stood under the gazebo for the first time, we suddenly heard a huge crack. We all ran out screaming - it was so loud I thought the whole structure was going to collapse. When we went to investigate, we discovered one part of the frame had literally snapped in half. We were absolutely appalled but equally grateful that no one had been hurt. So then began the attempts to get a refund from the company. The problem was we couldn’t even get a response from the company. We tried phone calls, emails, even messaging on their social media channels. Finally, we sent a message saying we were taking the issue to Trading Standards...and lo and behold we got a response. And the response was shocking. We were informed that ‘if there was a slight wind or similar, it can happen because of the pressure that the part gets broken’ and that any weather related damage is not under warranty. Firstly, we had never suggested it was weather related damage. The frame snapped with no undue pressure on it. But secondly and far more importantly, they are selling a product which they advertise as being suitable for outdoor use but then state themselves that it can’t even withstand the lightest wind. How is that possibly ‘fit for purpose.’ Unfortunately, we are getting absolutely nowhere with the company. They refuse to give us a refund. And we feel incredibly bruised by this entire experience. We are looking at losing a lot of money and we just hope that others heed our warning and thus avoid experiencing similar distress in the future.

Nov 19,2020Excellent marquees - easy to erect (two people) - does the job. Will look forward to seeing how it fares over the winter in a Midlands garden! A small issue relating to a ground bar we purchased at the same time was very quickly resolved, customer service was excellent and next day delivery for replacement part. Definitely recommend!

Nov 09,2020I had bought a garden gazebo which we were very happy with, a replacement roof canopy was required due to a small tear a few months after the purchase, this has been dealt with very quickly by julianne who works for the company, I am very impressed with the level of customer service and would highly recommend both house of tents and TOOLPORT

Nov 05,2020Have been looking around for a 3m x 3m marquee but a good one, ground frame, proper frame etc. Found this place, read the reviews but tok the plunge. They have been great throughout and the marquee is just right.

Nov 05,2020Terrible customer service and poor quality product. Initial delivery was prompt but the gazebo’s legs sheared on first use within 5 mins. Website stated robust - it was not, it was flimsy and not worth the money. I followed their cancellation process carefully and returned the product at my own expense. I have heard nothing back from them and they do not answer the phone. Very disappointing. House of Tents / TOOLPORT are a joke, they are about flogging cheap rubbish over the internet with no customer facing service.

Nov 01,2020Not ordered but browsed website out of interest. They offer loads of sizes of gazebos which are great for parties and events. After lock down I would definitely use this website to make a purchase when we are able to run events again.

I ordered on the 25th of October and it arrived three days later, unfortunately I wasn't in but I got it redelivered at a neighbours the next day which was really easy through UPS. I've just opened it to check everything is ok and all the parts are there. Looking at the quality of the material I wish I ordered the premium or professional. I won't be putting it up yet so I'll let you all know how it goes.

Oct 29,2020Love it arrived faster than expected was very easy to assemble with just myself and my wife slight problem with on of the side panels as windows were upside down but seller responded immediately to my emails and have gone above board to send me out a new one in time for the party I have ordered it for. Could honestly not be more pleased with this purchase .

Oct 24,2020I nearly didn’t order from House of Tents because of the reviews however I can only go by my personal experience: Thought it best if I called the sales number before ordering to see how helpful they were. Spoke to sales at 10am Monday 19th October to enquiry about stock level & delivery period. Confirmed 61 in stock & 3 to 5 working days delivery. The sales person was very helpful & confirmed shipping was direct from Germany & I was told the British telephone contact number was to reduce call charges Placed order online 11.30am the same morning, confirmation received by email 25minutes later UPS email received within the hour confirming delivery on 21st October of 2 parcels Further emailed invoice received from House of Tents shortly after Delivery confirmation email received from House of Tents 3pm the same day Both packages delivered midday on Wednesday 21st October, 2 working days from receipt of order No damage to packaging or contents. Everything present & correct, instructions very straightforward Took me about 2 hours to put up on my own with just a little help to put the roof on. Couple of spare bits thrown in No complaints at all considering what I paid & coming from a grumpy old coffin dodger that’s a compliment!

Oct 24,2020I’m sorry a lot of other reviewers have had such issues with House of Tents. My product arrived within a week despite me putting the wrong address on the order. I ordered a 3x6 professional pop up gazebo and it is superb. Heavier than I expected because I have previously only bought economy gazebos but it is sturdy, looks great and is easy to put up. I am genuinely impressed with House of Tents, albeit pleasantly surprised and relieved having read all the other reviews on here.

Oct 23,2020Honestly, if I could give zero stars, I would. Ordered a so called "portable" 'pop up' tent to put cars in. Well, it was delivered last week... On a pallet out of a massive truck and only then did I find out it was nearly 200KG. Not portable at all! For the past week now, I have been calling every single day at every spare minute with the hope of actually talking to someone however, I'm either calling out of office hours or the lines are busy. No matter the time, you cannot talk to them. Did I mention I sent an email with no response nearly 2 weeks later because I have no tracking information with the promise I would have it within 5 working days (turned out to be 16) I am at a loss now. £850 absolutely wasted that I cannot get back. Absolutely disgraceful company
