Jun 11,2022I purchased my tricycle c.4months ago. It was a jet e tricycle. I have had MS since 2005, and previously used to cycle often, but since my diagnosis I have had mobility and balance problems, the tricycle has really started my life again and I can now go out with my five year old daughter. The quality and comfort of the tricycle are excellent and the staff at Jorvik were excellent via email and in person. When the tricycle was reduced in price just after I bought it I was even given a refund. Thanks Jorvik, for all your help and for giving me an activity to continue into the future đ đ Jason Dodds

Jun 07,2022I emailed Jorvik for information about upgrading the braking system on my e trike, not made by Jorvik, as the system I have been considering is fitted to Jorvikâs e MTBs. Tom was most helpful, immediately replying to my two emails with the info I needed. That kind of service canât be bettered. Full marks to Jorvik!

Jun 06,2022The zip on the bag of my new JMT6 trike had a kink in it most probably caused by the way it was folded ready for dispatch from its country of origin. I notified Jorvik the supplier and with out hesitation they said "We will send you a replacement by post as soon as we get them in " No hassle just pure good service. So glad I chose to buy off Jorvik York.

Jun 01,2022Purchased Jorvik Elite Low Step through Electric Folding Trike JET-E 20â on 22/05/22 for my wife. She has a replacement knee and in her lower back spondylosis so the trike seemed a good idea. Pros and Cons of my experience Pros -Prompt and efficient delivery -Good build quality of the trike -Attractive appearance Cons -Felt unstable to ride on anything but a completely flat surface -Underpowered for the slope near our home resulting in the rider having to pedal hard. -My wife was unable to manoeuvre the bike up the drive into our garage without assistance. -Poor set up/ build instructions -Noticeably poor quality accessories. -Itâs foldable and therefore theoretically capable of fitting into a very large boot, but realistically itâs too heavy to lift. The trike was delivered on Friday pm and my wife took it for two test runs over the weekend. She felt it was unstable on a camber and had to lean hard to compensate putting pressure on her back. We decided to return the trike on the Monday, but we were told by Jorvik that since the trike had now completed 17.2 miles, this was in excess of the 5 miles stipulated in the Terms and Conditions and therefore could not be returned. The Terms and Conditions were indeed linked to the order confirmation, but this 5 mile restriction clause was buried in Clause 15 in the small print and, in my opinion, far from explicit and transparent. I have suggested to Jorvik that this 5 mile limitation needs to be far more explicit and upfront but their view is that they expect their customers to read the entirety of their terms and conditions- end of story. All in all not a great experience and I would recommend that any potential customers find a way to test trial the trike (not easy since the trike is not widely stocked) and read the small print in very close detail.

May 25,2022We've owned the Jet-1 for over a year, it's gorgeous. Not only is it extremely stable and comfortable to ride, it also looks very nice. We often get stopped and asked 101 questions about it too. The staff in the office, Sales and Tech support, are very helpful too :-)

May 17,2022Ich habe das Jorvik JET-E2 Dreirad seit etwa 3 Wochen und bin begeistert. Es ist eine andere Fahrweise als mit einem Zweirad man gewöhnt sich aber schnell daran. Kein "Schleppen" mehr : im hinteren Korb kann ich alles mögliche z. B. Pflanzen fĂŒr meinen Garten transportieren) und kann auf das Auto verzichten. Die Abwicklung war unkompliziert, der Kontakt telefonisch und per Email sehr nett und behilflich. Die Lieferung war einwandfrei. In meinem Freundeskreis und Bekanntenkreis waren alle erstmal skeptisch aber finden inzwischen das Dreirad super.

May 13,2022I have had my JORVIK MT JMT6-5 500W trike for almost 2 weeks, and I can Honestly say, it is the BEST TRIKE I have ever had, it is MODERN, WELL MADE, COMFORTABLE TO RIDE, it will take you ANYWHERE you want to go in STYLE AND COMFORT, you can carry lots in the back, and the front too, so great for SHOPPING TRIPS, and EVERYONE will want to talk to you and ask about your new wheels, so please do NOT HESITATE to get one from this FANTASTIC COMPANY JORVIK, thank you JORVIK for suck a QUALITY PRODUCT!!

May 03,2022I should perhaps explain why I now ride the Jorvik MT3. In August 2021 I was hit head on whilst riding a motorcycle combination resulting in amongst other things, a broken spine and shattered pelvis. 9 months on and I was having great difficulty in coming to terms with my injuries and the limits it placed on my everyday activities. A keen mountain biker, kayaker, hiker, it felt like life was simply not worth living any more. Then I spotted the Jorvik MT3. I rang them and the lovely Emma made me an appointment to test ride one at their York showroom. James was there to meet me and was a great help in discussing my requirements. The initial test ride was a revelation. The electrical assistance was smooth and surprisingly powerful. The combination of suspension and big squishy tyres made light work of any bumps which was great for me as I have cronic pain in my back and pelvis. The riding position is adjustable for riders of all sizes. As a bloke over 6' tall I worried I might be too big and look silly. Not a chance! The MT3 is a big solid machine with real presence on the road. The hub centre gearing is smooth and very simple to operate and the variable electric motor assistance complements it perfectly. The brakes are more than up to the job of stopping what is a pretty big machine and very progressive. I also wear a wrist splint as a result of the accident and in no way was this a problem on the MT3. Steering is light and the big fat tyres cope well with a variety of surfaces. The luggage rack on the back with its sturdy, removable case is perfect for shopping (or the pet dog!). Am I pleased with the trike? Absolutely! It doesn't just meet my need and expectations, it exceeds them at every point. Thank you Jorvik for giving me back a huge part of my independence and self respect. I will be buying their trailer next and look forward to cycle (tricycle) camping along some of the long distance cycle trails here in the UK. This trike is fast, powerful and turns heads everywhere I go. Mike Shepherdson. East Yorkshire.

Apr 18,2022My Jorvik JMT9 arrived safe and sound to Spain several weeks ago, due to bad weather here, I have been waiting to take it out, and finally great weather over this bank holiday has allowed me to do so, the trike does not disappoint, I have been on a 20 kilometre ride, and it was so easy and comfortable to ride, it is very sturdy, and well built, and riding down to the coast on some of the uneven paths, was trouble free, I have fitted a Klickfix basket to the front for my little Yorkie to come on rides with me, and I am sure, we will enjoy many days out, for years to come, now we have this great bike, the cargo carrier is great for essentials, picnics, cold drinks etc, I just wish I had space where I live, as I would order another of these trikes in a heartbeat, it would be great for friends visiting, to have the same great fun I have on this trike! I highly recommend this trike, I am a 66 year old female, and have had no problems, I have ensured that the saddle is at the correct height etc, and there is no problem in the riding of this trike, it is very light on the pedals, with very little effort needed, brakes are excellent, attention to detail on the finishing's, brings this bike to another level.

Apr 05,2022Oh my day the happiness this has brought my 13 year old is unreal sheâs not a small girl at 5â7 but this trike is great she off out having bike rides around our local area every day since it arrived , he 6 year old brother even had a cheeky ride in her back basket , he loved it but only as he was tired on the way back from there bike ride , she has what I call floppy joins I forget the medical name , also no sense of balance so this bike is a dream come true and this has given her her freedom that sheâs not had since she was little when we used stabilisers , she am off out mum helmet on and off she goes itâs great to see and the bike is so nice we added mirrors and a bugle to warn people , it did come with a bell she passed it on to her brother , I was also impressed with the tool kit that comes with it I could go on all day but I wonât , this is a truly great trike and I would recommend this trike to anyone A+++++

INCREDIBLY WELL PACKED WITH GOOD INSTRUCTIONS AND WITH THE SUPPLIED TOOLKIT IT IS ALMOST A DELIGHT TO ASSEMBLE . THIS ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS OBVIOUS IN EVERY WAY RIGHT DOWN TO THE LAST QUALITY CHROME NUT & BOLT. Feb 20,2022Unfortunately, our second purchase from Jorvik has proved troublesome and hence, my poor rating. Our New Electric Tricycle arrived speedily after Order and the assembly (as per Video and Manual) proved straightforward until the moment of switch on. We had no power to LED display of bike and despite numerous checks of Battery and visible connectors, the Tricycle remained lifeless. We contacted Jorvik and despite the exchange of advice and photos to pull down non visible connectors for further checking, we had no success. Jorvik could only suggest the return collection of the Tricycle and we were naive to believe this was good customer service to resolve the problem which in their words â had never happened beforeâ. The Tricycle was duly collected a couple of days later for return to York. We then waited for feedback on problem resolution and return. Naive again to think we would receive a courtesy phone call, only to receive an email basically confirming the problem was caused by a loose connection that we should have been able to fix and demanding Payment to return the Tricycle to us - see copy below Good morning, Joanne We have concluded our investigation today on your trike. It was just a case of a loose wire not connected correctly. Therefore, as stated in our T&Cs we would require payment for the collection of your trike before we can send out. Iâll forward the collection charge invoice shortly. Could you also confirm if you would like us to deliver it back to you or you will be arranging collection yourself? Once you confirm I can arrange a price and invoice for the outbound delivery back to yourself. Kind Regards The Jorvik Team Despite conversations with Senior Jorvik Managers, there was a total refusal to accept any responsibility for the problem with my Tricycle, merely referring to t&câs about Customer should check connections. They demanded full payment of ÂŁ168 to cover both the collection/return deliveries and refused totally to entertain any share of the costs. Had the nerve to suggest that we werenât been charged for the ârepairâ costs for a product that was not âfit for purposeâ. We were offered a full refund option, but that was not a route we wanted to go down. We reluctantly paid the Invoice and my Tricycle was returned âin working orderâ a few days later. To conclude, the Jorvik Tricycle is a lovely product and despite my severe MS symptoms, I can enjoy the freedom of cycling for both physical and mental well being. I wish Jorvik many years of Tricycle production and helping people like myself, but my recent experience calls into severe doubt their Customer Service morals. I was once told that you can judge a Company best on how it addresses Consumer problems, so Jorvik have a lot of improvement required. Regards Joanne Wilson

Feb 18,2022I purchased a JMT-3 initially in September 2020 with delivery in February 2021. I decided to make another purchase of a JET-E in October 2020 with delivery in March 2021, for my wife. My first thoughts with the JMT-3 were "What a fantastic machine this is" but I did encounter a few problems which were eventually sorted out when James made a trip to my home in Cumbria and collected the tricycle and it was returned fully working two weeks later. My wife was using the JET-E tricycle and was very happy with it but she saw it as more of a "City" trike and decided to sell it (to a VERY happy lady near home) and I bought a JMT-7 mid drive tricycle for her as a replacement. Everywhere we go, we are asked where we bought our tricycles and they have been photographed by people interested in buying for themselves. I have added mirrors and extra reflectors to both the JMT-3 and JMT-7 as I consider these to be essential and I have two batteries for each trike. Insurance is also a must and I used the promotional code (JORVIKTRICYCLE10) and insured them with Yellow Jersey Insurance. They are also DNA marked courtesy of the Insurers. After one year and a couple of thousand miles, I am pleased to report that the trikes are still giving us reliable service and lots of fun. We have taken them on several holidays and on the rugged home ground in Cumbria. There is probably one problem I need to mention and that is the tyres. Although they have generous tread, they do tend to puncture easily. I would like to be able to puncture proof the tyres as I have has quite a few thorns in each of the tyres. I havenât managed to source any liners for fat bike tyres and I know they are available for most other size of tyres.

Feb 16,2022Had some issues with the original purchase, Jorvik sent their technician all the way from York to Kent to review the fault. When the fault was repaired the model we had chosen could not fulfil the role we wanted it for. Jorvik again sent their technician with a suitable replacement and carried a test ride over the roads we needed to use to ensure all was well. What exceptional customer service. Thank you all so much.

Feb 09,2022Liebe Community, ich habe das Jet.1 mit 24 Zoll Reifen fĂŒr meine 86-jĂ€hrige Mutter bestellt, von einer Fahrradwerkstatt zusammenbauen lassen und bin nach der ersten Probefahrt völlig fertig. Das Fahrrad hat einen Linksdrall und ĂŒbersteuert dem Eindruck nach völlig. Bei der ersten Fahrt landete ich zweimal unfreiwillig vom Fahrradweg auf der StraĂe, auf dem RĂŒckweg wĂ€re ich dreimal fast in ein parkendes Auto gefahren. AuĂerdem hat man stĂ€ndig das GefĂŒhl, umzukippen, zumal auf den in der Heimatstadt meiner Mutter oft leicht geneigten StraĂen. Und dabei bin ich selbst geĂŒbte Fahrradfahrerin und war sogar mal zwei Tage in der Rikscha unterwegs. Einem jungen Mann, der das Rad fĂŒr meine Mutter abholte, ging es Ă€hnlich. Ich kann mir gut vorstellen, wie sie beim Fahren Panik bekommt und versucht, abzuspringen, was natĂŒrlich erst recht gefĂ€hrlich wĂ€re. Deshalb die Frage: meint Ihr, es liegt generell an der Konstruktion des Trcycle? Oder könnte man beim Zusammenbau noch optimieren? Der Monteur bemĂ€ngelte einige Konstruktionsprinzipien, zum Beispiel die zweigeteilte Kette, die in der Mitte sozusagen nochmal ĂŒbersetzt wird. Der Kundendienst von Jorvik meint, es sei eben ein anderes FahrgefĂŒhl - was mir nicht wirklich etwas hilft, wenn ich mir vorstelle, dass meine 86-jĂ€hrige Mutter ungebremst mit dem ĂŒbersteuerten Rad auf ein Auto zufĂ€hrt oder gar vom Fahrradweg mit einem Rad auf die StraĂe rutscht. Am liebsten wĂŒrde ich es zurĂŒckgeben, mĂŒsste das aber auf eigene Rechnung und zusammengebaut verschicken, zu einem irre hohen Preis (falls es ĂŒberhaupt geht). Viele GrĂŒĂe und vielen Dank, Antje

Jun 13,2022We decided to buy a trike for my 82 year old mum to try and get her out a bit more. After a lot of reading we settled on a electric jorvik and so happy we did its a superb safe stable and fun trike. The service from the jorvik team was amazing nothing was to much trouble and supported us from start to finish. My mum now can get out in fresh air with us and enjoy having some family fun and being electric when she gets tired got the electric to help her. A fantastic buy and a happy mum.
