the Jorvik electric tricycle I ordered took some time to come, but this was due to shipping issues around covid and brexit. The folks at Jorvik answered all my enquiries about delivery and shipping promptly and with courtesy, and eventually the tricycle arrived just as Jorvik said it would bang on the alloted time. the tricycle is fantastic and although my daughter, who is autistic, was reluctant to let go of her regular tricycle, she has now embraced it wholeheartedly and she has found it easy to master. The possibilities for us cycling out together have vastly increased as hills no longer present an insurmountable obstacle to her. The Jorvik electric tricycle has literally widened our horizons within a time that has been very isolating. I can't praise enough the folks at Jorvik, including Gavin Foster who was our lead contact there.

Received my JMT-10 in late November and after an initial minor issue, which was quickly resolved by Jorvik whom provided a replacement, I have now completed over 500 miles on my tricycle and have enjoyed every single minute of it. The stability provided by three wheels during the recent icy conditions has also proved to be most welcome along the rural roads hereabouts! All in all no complaints whatsoever and one very happy customer.

Ordered 2 Elites and both arrived via pallet . These trikes look better in life and the photos do not do them justice. They are incredible and myself and my husband bowled over with them . The trikes have given us the freedom we have craved especially in the current lockdowns. I had forgotten how much I loved cycling and myself and my husband have been getting out daily enjoying the countryside. Jorvik are a great company to deal with and Gavin is an asset to the company .

I have now had possession of my JMT9 for over 5 weeks and rode it every day on around 15 mile round trips. It has been a complete dream to ride and I am now a real head turner. I get stopped all the time by admiring passer bys. Its easy to ride and the controls are a doddle to use, which initially I was worried about. Emma in sales was wonderful and patient and explained everything, filling me with confidence. I am going to treat myself to a trailer in the new year to use on my allotment trips. Thankyou team Jorvik you have breathed life into me again.

I cant praise this company enough! I ordered my electric Jorvik tricycle over the phone and spoke to Emma who was ever so lovely and helpful. It arrived from York all the way up to Scotland where I live. It was not damaged due to the superior packaging. Because this tricycle (ex display, I got a bargain) it was in two parts. I took it to our local bicycle shop who put it together for me. I am 70 years old and never owned or rode a bicycle. This has transformed my life. Not only is it beautiful to look at but it is sturdy and feels very safe. My friends are envious! The plan now is to cycle on the nearby cycle tracks that were converted from the disused railway line around the Scottish highlands. Thank you to the Jorvik team. You have changed my life!

Just received my JMT6 Red trike... Absolutely love it.. Slight delay due to Covid but completely understandable in the current climate, Great service from Jorvik throughout and dealt with a team of lovely staff. Keep it up Jorvik and wish your company well.

Finally managed to pick up my JMT7. Very well built and excellent trike. Like a previous review I am challenged with both my knees. The limited bend proved to be a problem with the 170mm standard cranks. Unfortunately the Bafang cranks use an ISIS like but not compatible connection to the drive shaft. Unable to find any suitable replacements so have successfully machined and shortened them to 147mm. What a difference, absolutely brilliant now. Now mobile again.

Bought a jmt7 trike which I found to be hard work and not suitable for me I’m 65+ I suffer with bad knees Jorvik swapped it for me for a jmt6 this was really good everything I expected from an electric trike could ride it for hours hills aren’t a problem at all . Recommend this trike to anyone in their sixties you won’t be disappointed thanks Jorvik trikes York 😃

I ordered my Jorvik electric Tricycle back in the middle of CV19 lockdown - the first cycle of any kind I had ever had at the ripe old age of 63. At every stage the team at Jorvik have been superb. I am now on the road and I am so happy with 'Daisy'. It is a wonderful voyage of discovery. Thank you to everyone at Jorvik

bin sehr zufrieden. der kundenservice ist top. innerhalb eines tages bekommt man per mail eine antwort und auch sofort geholfen. kann ich nur empfehlen. da können sich einige andere firmen ein besispiel dran nehmen.

Wonderful to have a super, solid and very good looking vehicle to ride! Jorvik have kept in contact about the order and their fantastic team have answered all my queries promptly, they have been really amazing especially in the current Covid ridden circumstances. So happy with my tricycle and after many, many years to get riding again. Thank you Jorvik!

I’m now the proud owner of a JMT7. I did quite a lot of research before purchasing and I can safely say there is nothing like it on the market. It has it ALL and MORE. I’m the envy of my local golf club.Emma who took my order was super friendly and helpful and the delivery went smoothly. I can wholeheartedly recommend Jorvik Tricycles . TOP NOTCH !

My pedal assist stopped working after I washed my trike. I emailed the company and within an hour Emma had responded with potential solutions and photographs on how to resolve the problem. I had managed to dislodge the magnetic disk, with some over enthusiastic cleaning, and move it too far away from the sensor. I was able to solve the problem and get back on my bike for a ride round in the autumn countryside before the rain came. Yet another fantastic customer experience thank you so much.

My experience as a lady with Multiple Sclerosis purchasing the Dutch folding electric trike , I found the level of customer service was disgusting ! They were rude, unhelpful and argumentative. On their Aims they state that ‘ Jorvik (pronounced Yorvik) quickly built an admirable reputation. Not just for the quality of the tricycles, but for the care and understanding that came with each and every sale.’ And also display the MS Logo - they clearly have no understand of what that means ! They gave me a £50 voucher to spend for the delay in the delivery of my trike which I understand in these time’s and was grateful for , so I ordered a rain cover at £39.99 and a bike lock at £19.99 and then made a payment for the additional which they sent me a receipt for . On delivery of my trike the lock was not sent and when I emailed they replied that I hadn’t ordered or paid for one and even though I had sent them the receipts and emails they had sent me they were adamant that they were right but would send me one as a ‘goodwill’ gesture . We asked if we could collect the trike from the York showroom and have it built but were told there were no engineers on site and we were not allowed onsite to collect it , how have other customers been able to collect their trikes ? I am now having issues with it creaking as are a few others who have the same model. I love being able to get out but my experience has spoilt it and been a stressful process which has an impact on my health unfortunately . Jorvik really need to invest in some customer service training and training on MS and Parkinson’s which they support and understand what impact their attitude has on people .

Hi Jorvik team, We just wanted to remark on our successful assembly of my new electric tricycle, delivered yesterday morning and completed in the afternoon. It’s probably a misnomer to say ‘assembly’ since your shop sent a virtually complete tricycle which only needed mudguards and baskets positioned in a completely obvious way with bolts supplied in place. My husband was immediately busy with the Allen keys and spanners, putting everything together. He was helped by the introductory session we had with your friendly salesman in the shop at York, where we saw the dis-assembling and re-assembling process to accomplish the folding and unfolding of the tricycle. We were so pleased at that session that we could figure out how to store the folded tricycle in our ancient motorhome’s garage! Anyway, an hour or so after beginning, everything was together, all components tightened satisfactorily, and adjusted for my height, battery fully charged, and all systems go. The new model is such a success — my husband keeps saying how cute it is — and as soon as the weather breaks (it’s raining hard at the moment) I hope to be out on the road, zooming along. Thank you so much for putting this wonderful tricycle package together, and I’m looking forward to great adventures with it. Thanks again for great service! Best wishes, Carrie Winger

Rude customer service. Empty threats of solicitors instead of helping resolve the issues in hand. Cheap built products. No quality control. Jorvic keep reporting my reviews so had to be a brief. Avoid their products or hope you get a good one !

I would not hesitate to recommend Jorvik Tricycles due to the excellent support and service offered from the point of purchase onwards. The trike is sturdy and as advertised, and the accessories likewise. Jorvik associates answered all queries at the point of sale and even compensated customers who had to wait a while for deliveries a little longer due to Covid19 (a problem worldwide). For this reason, I would recommend Jorvik as a trusted trader.

I am from Germany / Bavaria and i came to Jorvik Tricycles with internet search. I order in the End of May 2020 the Model JMT 7. First of all, i had similar experiences as the user "PC", who wrote his review at 03.09.2020. The delivery delays and the communication wasn't always good. But than i get contact to Gavin Foster, the best man from the Jorvik Company, so my opinion. He helps me very good with concrete informations. I could rely on him. The trike is here now, and i am very excited. Its better, than i thought. It is pretty tough and very stable. The battery was fuel to 90 %, so i can immedately go for a ride. The plug from the charger cable was in UK form, but they even delivered a cable with the german plug - amazing! Unexpected and not ordered at all. Thank you so much. This is a very good customer service. The BAFANG mid-drive motor is very smooth and strong - a great experience. Now i hope that it will go well for a long time! I was really pleased with the JMT3, when it arrived I was surprised how good it looked once assembled, the trike looked much better in the flesh. Everything works as expected and the power exceeded my expectations
