Mar 21,2020Excellent care - very professional and friendly clinic. One of my eyes was perfect after the surgery and the other was ok but not perfect, due to a genetic condition. The aftercare was excellent and they took steps to sort the other eye, with no fuss, which is now perfect too. Would highly recommend.

Mar 21,2020I just want to say a massive thank you very much to Professor Dan and his fantastic team, I can’t thank you enough. My eyes were in a very bad state & painful when I first arrived back in 2016, the care/after care I received was fantastic, everyone was so kind, friendly, helpful and they always put me at ease, after multiple surgeries, scans and many appointments, I was discharged in February 2020. I will always need to carry on taking daily eye medication, due to a hereditary condition, but the pain has improved dramatically and my vision in both eyes is now around 20/20. Before I first went to the Vision Clinic I had appointments at multiple hospitals, and each one wrote me off saying nothing could be done, Professor Dan took my case on and delivered the impossible. Mar 18,2020I was really nervous, but my whole experience with London Vision Clinic was so reassuring and has made such a positive impact on my life post-surgery! Within hours after my ReLEx smile surgery, my vision had improved, and now 4 months on, I forget I ever wore glasses and contact lenses. Waking up and being able to see clearly straight away is the best feeling, and I no longer need to worry about carrying around spare contact lenses, a glasses case, prescription sunglasses etc! Mr Stuart performed my surgery, and was knowledgeable, reassuring and calm throughout, which was really helpful for me! The aftercare service has been excellent - I’ve had dry eyes my whole life due to an “incomplete blink,” and each aftercare appointment I’ve been topped up with hydrating drops/gel (includes in the price of the surgery) which have really helped with my comfort and the healing process over the last months. Overall, I couldn’t praise the whole team more! Thank you so so much for everything you’ve all done for me!

Mar 15,2020After thinking about having laser eye surgery for a number of years, and after undertaking a lot of research into possible procedures and clinics available I settled on the London Vision Clinic. From the moment I first made contact with LVC they provided excellent service and the knowledge and professionalism of all staff were second to none. Following surgery i went from -4.5 and moderate astigmatism in both eyes to better than 20/20 vision. My only regret was not having pursued the surgery earlier. LVC were one of the very few clinics to offer Lasik SMILE keyhole surgery which was particularly attractive to me as a keen sportsman. I am now able to swim, run and cycle without any of the contact lense / glasses hassles we are all too familiar with! I would highly recommend anyone thinking about the surgery to make a phone call and talk it over with one of LVC's very helpful staff. You have nothing to lose in discussing your options with them. The assessments in advance of the surgery were really thorough and I was made to feel at ease. The surgery day itself went really smoothly. Everyone made me feel really relaxed and confident about the process. Mr Carp was fantastic. Really calm and explained everything to me. The aftercare has been brilliant and I am confident I can always get a quick response to my emails and calls.

Mar 12,2020I had a SMILE sugery to correct my vision a few months ago. I have been wearing glasses for 15 years and now I will never have to. I was impressed by the level of customer service (and I myself work in a customer service so I can be very critical) from the first contact via email, to pre-sugery tests (the longest time I ever spend with an optician/eye doctor! that impressed me a lot. ), the surgery, and the aftercare check ups. The strength of LCV is in the experienced surgeons they have, but without all the other details like the quick responding to emails and feeling welcomed when entering reception, it wouldn’t work. I have a feeling that this place has a good management and that the staff cooperate well with each other. My surgery was very straightforward, no side effects etc, but I do feel that if I had any problems I could call them anyway and all the potencial side effects and risks were explained beforehand during eye tests and later also with surgeon. Not only that, because of an some (small) addcional risk factor (I have very large pupils which I didn’t know about until then) the surgeon asked me to come back again the next day just to make sure I am 100% happy with everything. Honestly, I was so impressed by this. I was a bit anxious about the surgery (despite doing lots of research and thinking about it for months) but after meeting my surgeon I instantly knew I made the right choice. If you are considering a laser eye surgery and you live in England, go check out London Vision Clinic. They will give you the best care there is.
