Jan 02,2020I had laser eye surgery at London Vision Clinic at the beginning of September 2019. Prior to my treatment I’d worn glasses for about 15 years and never enjoyed doing so. I was a little apprehensive about having the procedure as I’d been ‘advised against’ by a high-street clinic due to the fact I had an astigmatism. I knew that I was in exceptionally good hands at the London Vision Clinic from my very first consultation and felt very reassured by every professional I met. I decided to go ahead with the procedure an Mr Carp was my surgeon. He, together with the whole team are absolutely incredible. My post-operative care has been first class, and whilst my vision still fluctuates a little due to eye-dryness things are getting better by the week and I’ve been glasses free ever since the operation. The procedure itself is perhaps a little ‘strange’ but there genuinely isn’t any pain. I did a lot of research prior to choosing the London Vision Clinic and I honestly don’t think I could have been in better hands My advice would be to go for it!

Jan 02,2020Glasses Free Sport is a GAME CHANGER As an Ironman triathlete I have historically had to rely on lensed sunglasses to train and compete which is complicated, especially when riding/running in the rain. Open water swimming had it's own sighting challenges. Dr Carp and the rest of the team at London Vision Clinic were incredible. They took me through every step of the journey at my own pace and thoroughly explained all my options, as well as patiently addressed any concerns I raised. The procedure was exactly as prescribed and within a very short time I had healed and was glasses free. Best of all I am now able to train and race in complete freedom without fearing rain and misted up glasses!

Jan 02,2020London Vision Clinic have been fantastic from start to finish. I was very cautions but went ahead with a consultation to find out the details and the risks. After extensive examinations, all options and relevant statistics were presented extremely well to me. Prior to surgery, Mr Carp saw me and calmed every last nerve I had with his expertise. Surgery day came, and I was trying to not think about what was ahead (I’m a very nervous patient!). I was not rushed and despite ‘taking their time’ the whole surgery was over in around 10 mins (both eyes). I am now 3 months post surgery with no complications. Coming from a -5.50 prescription I have just been swimming with turtles, with my eyes open underwater in the Caribbean. Before surgery I would have hardly been able to see the difference between the sea and the sky. As far as I am concerned the procedure was a Total success and has achieved exactly what I wanted it to. I am about to have my 3 month and 12 month inclusive checks, but have zero concerns that there will be any issue, however I am confident if I had, that they would be there to 100% support me. This is by far one of the best companies I have ever dealt with and I have already recommended them to a number of colleagues.

Dec 21,2019My Name is Chris Edwards: it has now been 2 years since my excellent LVC laser treatment. I am a 70 yr old retired Dentist and have spent my working life managing an advanced Dental Practice. LVC ticks all the boxes for an utterly friendly all together team. I cannot sufficiently say how well all of my visits went. The whole team is at one, they have a lot to be proud of. There was not a visit where I felt anything other than competence. Following advice from a family and friends and two diagnoses of ‘ laser eye surgery not possible for you’ I met the Prof. Now here I am managing to race a small sailing boat getting very wet and without specs! And I can see the buoys! Downsides? A month or two of ‘starlights’ whilst driving at night, still use some eye drops, but mainly a wish that I had understood what is really possible with laser eye surgery a whole lot earlier. I have found this in medical/dental specialities, where there is a general reluctance to look outside the box, or even to see what your own profession can do. Spectacles are still the global solution but this is just wonderful! Thank you.CE ‘

As someone who was very apprehensive about laser surgery, I was pleasantly surprised by the level of support and information they offered me. From the receptionist to your service manager through to the ophthalmologist (who was a great guy) to the scarily proficient surgeon Mr Carp, I was well cared for. I only wish I had done this sooner. I can not recommend enough.

Dec 06,2019I had my surgery here 28/02/2019 with Dr. Glenn Carp. What can I say? It was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I was thinking about an eye surgery for 5 years. I had many appointments at many eye clinics across UK. Optical Express disappointed me with their service and Optimax never called me back. London Vision clinic was all about me. My health, my thoughts and concerns. Everything was discussed, all risks, procedures, etc. Staff were polite with excellent customer care. Doctors are great, highly skilled, trained, professional. On the day of my surgery I was offered a massage for relaxation, and all my concerns raised after the surgery I solved by calling the clinic and discussing my questions with doctors. All aftercare procedures were straightforward and easy to manage. Fast and reliable service. I'm positive, that it's one of the best clinics in UK (if not the best) and I can't recommend it highly enough. Now I have a new chapter of my life, enjoying my new great vision! Thank you so much!

Jan 02,2020If you are going to have laser surgery then LVC is the best place with the best surgeons/optometrists and equipment. The whole experience is very thorough and professional and a lot of care is taken to explain everything before and the after care is very good too. The only thing I would say, is that I assumed that my eyes would be fine afterwards (in spite of their warnings that some people need further surgery) but as all the people I knew had said it was great, I didn't really focus on that. Several months on, I am now waiting for a correction and at present I am wearing glasses for driving and TV ( as I was before) as well as struggling to read up close ( which I could do before.) So don't have laser surgery unless you really really need it.
