This laser eye surgery has had a very positive effect on my condition which I did not anticipate. My reading and arithmetic abilities have greatly improved which, in turn, has helped to give me a better quality of life. Thank you all so much for your extremely professional and friendly help. I wish I had my operation long time ago, but fear stopped me to do so for a very long time. London Vision Clinic impressed me for their extremely high professionalism, competence, repeated eye examinations and results. London vision clinic has given me the ability to see without glasses and I am immensely grateful for that. In addition, I did not experience the slightest side effect or complication. Jan 05,2020At age 53 I never wore lenses and should have worn glasses much more often than I did. I needed glasses for driving and watching television but also much more. When walking into a restaurant I wouldn’t be able to see people’s faces they would be a blur in fact most things were a blur. I originally called the London Vision Clinic (after hearing about them from following someone on Instagram who had just been to LVC) to enquire for my 24 year old daughter and 26 year old son to have laser eye surgery. They both had a prescription of roughly minus 5 and wore lenses. After speaking to Olivia on the phone I ended up booking an appointment for myself! It is honestly the best decision I have ever made. I disliked wearing my glasses and would regularly lose them so had started wearing them on an old lady chain around my neck which I would constantly be taking on and off which was stressful! I had laser blended vision so now my eyesight for driving and for reading (and walking into restaurants!) is 20/20. Vision for the new decade! I can see so clearly all of life that I was missing. My daughter had SMILE a couple of months ago and my son had SMILE just this week. We are all enjoying our new eyesight that was a painless procedure. The pre and post-operative care was so thorough. Everyone I have come across at LVC were a pleasure to deal with and Glenn Carp our surgeon was just the best!

Jan 05,2020My experience with the London Vision Clinic was great from start to finish. I was a daily contact lens wearer and decided to go for a consultation. The consultation process itself was extremely thorough in comparison to other cheaper Laser Eye clinics that I'd had an initial consultation with. The London Vision Clinic specialists actually identified an underlying eye condition (ABMD) I had which was explained in depth to me and gave me a choice on the type of surgery I had as this may have been agitated by the surgery. I chose the SMILE 'key hole' laser surgery with it being the least invasive. I went through with the procedure and its the best decision I've ever made. My eye sight has settled at slightly better than 20/20. I did have some initial irritation and dryness as a result of my eye condition however the aftercare received has been exceptional. I couldn't recommend Dr Carp and Brendan the optometrist highly enough.

Jan 04,2020The people working at London Vision Clinic are extremely kind and professional, from the receptionists to the surgeon. I had my surgery about 3 months ago, Dr. Carp was my surgeon. I did not have any pains at all during the procedure or after. At the moment I still have to recover, my vision is not 100% perfect because my prescription was high +4,5 , +5. Overall it was a good experience, I hope that my vision will get better with the time.

Jan 03,2020If anyone asked me the best place to get laser eye surgery, I would always say London Vision Clinic. I had relex smile in summer 2019. From the first phone call I knew I was in good hands. Staff are friendly and professional, and every appointment was comfortable and efficient. My eyes were checked extensively in order to ensure that surgery was the best option for me, and I never felt pushed to go forward with the procedure. Everything was explained to me clearly, including the risks. The actual surgery was comfortable, easy and painless, and the healing process was quick and easy, except for the first few hours where my eyes stung quite a bit. I was very scared about getting laser eye surgery before, and had done hours of research on the internet, finding several scare stories. However, the reality of it is that it is safe if you go to a reliable place where no expense is spared in taking care of you. I've had several checkups so far, and everything is healing well and I have no adverse side effects. I'm free from glasses and I encourage anyone who wants the surgery to go ahead with it, because it is truly life changing.

You are always in the know with what is going on and they answer every question you have. You feel like you know exactly what is going to happen. All the staff are super friendly and the clinic is beautiful. It changed everything for me, now I have my eyesight back.

Jan 03,2020Obviously like most people I was very nervous about having laser surgery but from the very first appointment I was made to feel at ease. Everyone at the London Vision Clinic were so helpful and welcoming. The procedure was clearly explained. On the day of surgery I was even more nervous but really needn’t have been. It was so quick and really was painless. I had mine done in September and it is now January and it’s all been great, I do not regret it one little bit. I had a little worry about my eyes so called up and within the next few hours someone phoned me back and put me at ease. I really really cannot recommend London Vision Clinic enough!

Jan 03,2020I have been wearing glasses for about 12 years and absolutely hated them! My optician tried me on contact lenses but never found a prescription that suited me for both long and short vision. He told me that Presbyopia (deterioration due to old age!) couldn't be cured successfully by Laser Eye Surgery and advised me against it.... However I was determined! After a lot of research and then a chance recommendation I discovered London Vision Clinic. They claim to be able to treat about 97% of people..... I went along for my initial consultation and was so impressed with how thorough and professional everyone was. I was disappointed when they told me that they could not operate due to the pterygium that I had had for years. They immediately refunded my fee as promised. It took me another year to have an op to remove the pterygium and allow time for any scarring to calm down before I returned. This time I was told that they could go ahead but were very honest about what I should expect given the scarring on my left eye. After a wobble (during which I had a long and brilliantly helpful conversation with the wonderful Sharon, my optometrist there) I decided to go ahead. The operation is over so quickly and I can honestly say that you don't feel a thing....just an amazing light show! I was lucky to have Professor Dan Reinstein as my surgeon. Look him up! He is internationally renowned and I felt so confident in his abilities. Although you are told to try and keep your eyes close for a few hours after the operation I could tell immediately how life changing it was. Just seeing detailed leaves on the trees along the road during the taxi drive home was amazing! It is just over four months later and I can cook, read, drive, watch TV without my glasses. I used to wake up in the morning and reach for them and it too me a while to get over that feeling. I feel so much younger without them. I still have a little difficulty driving at night with glare but Sharon had some glasses made up for me to help me through while my eyes settle and my brain gets used to them. It apparently takes months for your vision to completely settle. This was, without doubt, one of the best things I have ever done! I wish I had done it sooner. I even managed to finance it on Interest Free Credit. Thank you to everyone at London Vision Clinic and particularly to Dan and Sharon - you change lives!

Jan 03,2020I had put off having laser eye surgery for years but finally decided to go for it last summer and I can now say I just wish I had done it sooner. The whole procedure was quick and pain-free and has changed my life. I was so impressed with London Vision Clinic from my first phone call with them. Every appointment I had with them they made me feel important and reassured me throughout. The after care provided after the surgery is fantastic. I didn’t have any problems after the surgery but knew I was able to get assistance at any point if I needed any. I would recommend the surgery to anyone thinking about it!

Jan 03,2020I was short sighted in both eyes (the left with a much stronger prescription of -6.5), with a slight astigmatism in both as well. I had the relex smile treatment on both eyes about 4.5 months ago. The actual surgery took about 10 seconds on each eye and the recovery that day was fine, my eyes were a little scratchy but much better than I’d expected. The recovery over the next few weeks was again easier than I’d thought. I felt the whole team from the patient care coordinators to the surgeon (I had Glenn Carp) were great, and took care of me well. Would definitely recommend LVC, and laser eye surgery - it is so nice not to have to wear lenses every day!

Jan 03,2020I had previously been somewhere else for a consultation who said that for them I was not appropriate for laser eye surgery, I found London vision clinic after doing some research and they have exceeded my expectations. From the initial contact to everyone after I got amazing service and care. I am an anxious person but every member of staff put me at ease along the way. I was diagnosed as having dry eyes and so my surgery was delayed in order to treat this to ensure the a more comfortable recovery. It really showed that I wasn't just another person passing through the door and that they cared about my experience of the surgery and my aftercare. On the day of the surgery I was very nervous and there was really no need to be. I had a massage just before and then went through, Mr Carp was so reassuring and explained everything that was going to happen, after the first eye the second was easy and o had no nerves at all, I couldn't believe how quick it was. The aftercare drops really helped and I was able to go out that night for a meal. The next day I couldn't believe how clear I could see and the test showed that I now had better than 20:20 vision. The whole experience has absolutely blown me away. I couldn't recommend the clinic high enough.

Jan 03,2020After wanting to be glasses free for more than 10years I finally plucked up the courage to investigate the possibility. A friend recommended London vision clinic so I gave them a call and spoke to a very knowledgeable and calm consultant, she instantly put me and ease and I decided to book an appointment. I was very lucky to have Dan as my surgeon, who made the day (20 min procedure) go so smoothly, i followed his after care advice on the day and within 3hours my eyes felt comfortable and I even went for a walk. Every part of the Journey with London vision clinic was relaxing and professional, from the beautiful waiting room, to the day of the procedure and the after care I have received so far. I’m three months in, with better than 20:20 vision and can honestly say it’s life changing.

Jan 02,2020As soon as you contact the clinic, you feel you're in safe hands and so well looked after. Having eye laser treatment is a scary idea but everybody you see and speak to, make you feel at ease and that they understand how you feel. I have a very high prescription and astigmism. So not straitforward. They are honest about the end result and spend time answering question after question. At every stage they explain the pros and cons. I can now go swimming on holiday without my glasses, can potter around the house without wearing glasses and wake up no longer searching for my glasses. It feels like a miracle.

Jan 02,2020As I keep telling everyone I meet, this is literally the miracle of sight! After 20 years of contact lenses, I had laser surgery and now it is amazing!! I cannot recommend this clinic enough. Their service and care was excellent throughout. The surgeon was amazing and talks you through the whole process before and during. It doesn't hurt and you can see straight away as soon as its finished. Please don't put it off any longer, get it done!!

Jan 08,2020Excellent from beginning to end. I am a musician that works in what can be a high pressure environment, and there is often a need to read music in conditions where the lighting may be very variable. I was losing my near vision fairly rapidly and had arrived at a point where I could not read books, the newspaper, or most menus without considerable strain and discomfort, never mind a piece of music. I had laser blended vision - surgeon was Professor Reinstein - November 2018. The result for me was a success and I was immediately able to read music, books, menus, small print on labels on the back of food products etc. The pre surgery tests seemed to be very thorough. I was informed of everything. The treatment experience both before and after the procedure was highly professional and always felt genuine, courteous and kind. It is a great clinic with a fantastic team. To find a place working to these very high standards, on every level, is rare. I'm glad that I had the surgery and especially that I found LVC.
