Minisforum has been accommodating, understanding, and helpful. I bought a UM790Pro from them that was one of a small batch that had a defect in the board that caused the unit to short out, they immediately sent me a new one without any hassle. They have been nothing but professional to me and helped to the best of their ability.

This is just for the customer service, as I never received my product. Back in august I decided to purchase the Venus mini pc. I heard good things about it and wanted to start off small up upgrade from my gaming laptop. Well they ship FedEx. FedEx ended up losing it. So I reached out to MF and they told me to reach out to FedEx. So I did. FedEx told me that MF needs to file a claim. By this point it’s 8 days past the original delivery date. I reached back out to MF and got an email that they were out for the holiday weekend. No problem. That’s cool. The day after they responded saying they would look into it. Now at this point I still did want the product. I had asked if I could get an update. Well they came back again that I need to contact FedEx… I had already explained in detail what’s going on. I had done all the foot work getting the info they needed to file a claim. Heck I even went to Reddit to make sure I was doing it right. Well I told them again that they need to file the claim and if they didn’t want to I’ll just take the refund. They said they’d file the claim. I reached back out to FedEx a few days later. This is now mid September. And they did file the claim. Waited another week and hadn’t heard anything, so I went ahead and explained everything again, giving screen shots and dates and asked for the refund. They were once again on holiday so I waited for them to come back. Nothing the day of their return, I’ll mention here that they had been giving me a reply 24 hours after or the date they said they’d be back. After a few more days, I had to go through my bank as I was close to the date I wouldn’t be able to dispute (near 2 months). Again I cannot say anything for their product but have heard great things. But the absolute headache of having to go between them and FedEx was a nightmare. And just saying you’re “really, really sorry” is just not something I will accept. I do not want the product anymore, I do not want to deal with them nor give them my business anymore, I am simply stating what happened and reviewing based on the company. I will not reach out “to make it right”, I will not do a follow up and I will not try again. I will not give my order number, nor any other information.
I have bought MINISFORUM UN1265 RAM32GB SSD1TB last week, the product arrived within 1 week. I am very happy that bought it, the design and quality is pretty good with the afforable price. Also the staff support and answer email very well on the discount code I forgot to appy during payment process so I write to staff they help refund discount back to me.
I paid a UM480 barebone in offer from their own store (NOT in amazon) the 9th of October. Almost A MONTH AFTER i don't have even a shipment update, not a tracking number, just an opaque answer by chat that they broke stock on german warehouse. A month waiting for a "surprise" gift for my wife's birthday made me look bad to my wife's eyes (having made the order with enough time according to their website). I'm glad i paid by paypal, now i'm thinking about a refund and letting potential buyers know the shipping problems they will face.
Hi. I started few years ago my experience with mini-PC by an EliteMini X400 from Minisforum. I would say that i am really enjoying it. My desktop is now cleaner and almost silent even if this machine is as powerful as a tower PC. Now, i'm experiencing Proxmox on a HM80 as home-lab server. Super cool. I had contact with Minisforum's support and it was reactive and really helping. Great experience so far !
Ho preso recentemente un Venus UM 790 pro con 1 terabyte ssd e 64 Gb ram una bomba ! Va benissimo nn scalda e l’assistenza risponde anche a semplici quesiti basta attendere considerando il fuso orario molto differente .Giudizio più che positivo . Update 14 Ottobre 2024 Numerosi BSOD (schermate blu) e relativi riavvi, insieme ad un wifi non esaltante e USB ballerine mi hanno fatto purtroppo cambiare idea. Ho contattato per email la Minis FOrum che dopo la richiesta di una mole di informazioni mi ha autorizzato ad inviare l'apparecchio in Germania esattamente questo idirizzo che appare essere un privato Name: Herr Zhang-MF Tel: 017634335856 Address:Junkersstr.10, 40235,Düsseldorf, Germany Lo ho inviato ovviamente a mie spese ed è stato consegnato ieri ma a tutto oggi Minis Forum non pare avere ricevuta della consegna Aspettiamo e speriamo soprattutto che mi venga restituto un altro esemplare recente senza i problemi del precedente. Per ora 1 stella.... 28/10/2024 Ulteriore modifica. Dopo una attesa preoccupata, e un monitoraggio causato da DHL che non ha un tracking molto preciso, MinisForum mi ha rimandato un PC nuovo di zecca. Ho verificato è aggiornato nel bios e in tutto . Processo farraginoso ma alla fine bravi a Minis Forum....
Minisforum understands the desire for high performance in a small form factor is possible without compromise. I'm very excited to receive my motherboard from them. Custom cooling with a 7745hx "laptop" on desktop cpu is brilliant. Without this crucial piece my custom pc build would have left me wanting more. Support has always been quick and knowledgeable.

I'm order a Minisforum Venus Serie UM790 Pro, still waiting for it, it seems like a mini powerful PC that would suit my needs of a low power tiny factor pc, even for my travels where I can visit home country and have a monitor and keyboard/mouse and the only thing missing is a pc / I'll try to add this later on if possible according to the the final experience(hope everything would go smooth)
I made an order to purchase UM790 Pro, but I forget to add the mouse pad. So I emailed the support team. They responded quickly and resolved my problem. Now I am just waiting for the delivery. The website needs some improvement - I could not apply the Halloween Sale coupon on my order. Luckly I found a workaround to make it work.

I just created an order for a UM790 pro, and after introducing all billing and delivery addresses data, paying with PayPal overwrote the addresses. I opened a ticket and they quickly resolved the issue. As also mentioned in other comments, the EU store is ok, except in the checkout process which is mostly written in German. Not a big deal, since you can translate using any browser add on, but always a little bit annoying. Experience until now: so far so good.

Initially I added a positive review because of their fast support and helpfulness in adding an item that I had forgot to click on to my order (extremely discounted item) and they said they could add it and requested I add a review for them so I did. However, the product they were selling was out of stock (the main product, not the discounted promotion one), but listed in stock on their site and I was only told this after contacting them and I had to go back and forth over a number of days to remedy this and now they are going to send me a US product and then a AU adapter, but this again was delayed and sent after the timeframe they had already stated. Due to the complications the product took a little under 2 weeks to be sent and now I have to wait for it to actually get here. Also, I received no apologies and pretty strange support. They said once I received the alternative US product they would send out the adapter, which would have added even more time to the whole process I asked them to send it now seeing as waiting would have made this even more annoying. They also just didn't respond to questions as to how long this would all take. I honestly wish I had not dealt with them as all of this has made it a really crap experience :X I wont be buying from minisforum again.
the mini PC works very well, fast, intelligent, it's a change from my old PC with windows 7.

Nov 20,2023Minisforum EM680を購入して利用していると 突然電源が落ちてしまいます。 初期化やリカバリーをしても直りません。 MINISFORUMさんの他PCも持っており、 他の機種では起きたことがないのですが、 初期不良化と思いますので交換をお願いしたいです。 ====================== と連絡したものの、 あれを試せ、これを試せと言われるばかりで、 それに対応しても、 返品も返金も修理も対応してくれません。 何を言っても、あれを試せ、動画で撮って送ってこいと、 突然電源が落ちる現象を再現して動画を取ることはできないのに、 不誠実すぎる対応で最悪です。 皆さん、このメーカーから購入しない方がいいと思います。 使用できないパソコンを買わされて、 返品も返金も修理も交換も対応してくれないとは、 意味が分かりません。詐欺です。 日本から撤退してほしい最悪のメーカーです。 皆様、絶対に買わないことをお勧めします。 相変わらず何も解決しないキャッチボールをさせられています。 消費者センターに問い合わせています。 最低のメーカーです。 6万円をドブに捨てた気分です。
