I found the one on one coaching especially valuable. Particularly because the coaches I had were really encouraging and empowering. I’ve learned about eating healthy foods, portion control, amd consistent movement.
Miyagi have pointed me in the right direction, making lifestyle and nutritional changes for the better. The support from coaches and through social media helped me to keep on track and were always positive. I am much fitter after the program, and keeping up activity. I lost 10kg and feel a lot better about myself. A worthwhile program for anyone who wants to make changes.
Your program was a great disappointment. From the beginning, as soon as I paid my money, Miyagi did not deliver what was promised. (This is in no way reflective of my mentor - Alicia who was amazing). I was promised appointments that would be outside my work hours - not so; the technology setup session was a joke - there was no way I could understand the accent of the person I spoke to; the promise of a tracking app was you “piggy backing” onto another company's app and to get full access more money had to be spent; your program was not structured to run through one access point - you need a decent tech design consultant - your online information was so basic I could have gained more by buying a $50 book. And i could go on. But the only light in your program was Alicia who was amazing.
I joined the Miyagi Program 12 weeks ago and I haven't looked back. So far I have lost 10kg and 28cm accumulatively. I'm fully supported by my wonderful coach, Georgia, and feel healthy, knowledgeable and strong. Our weekly phone calls are friendly, informative, encouraging and motivating. The resources available in this Program are full of information covering a broad range of topics. This is a holistic, realistic and very do-able Program for a healthy lifestyle focusing on health, nutrition, physical health which has helped my mental health. I have embraced this Program and my new routine and habits have quickly become my new normal. The app is easy to use and the team at Miyagi are so friendly and helpful. The members on the Facebook Support Group are friendly, supportive and share tips and experiences. This is the best decision I've made for my health. Thank you Georgia and the Miyagi Team! 😀

It was good to a weekly reminder to stay and have fit goals. I have yet to budge weight but I know I will well next month
The program has been the best decision I have ever made. I have lost 11 cm around my waist, but the awesome outcome is the happiness, self love and abilty to implement all my learnings into my day to day life. The coaching was enjoyable and played large part of this change in my mindset. The program is a wonderful, holistic apprach and I recommend to everyone who has asked me about my change. Again, thank you to the whole team that support the processes behind the program.

I started my journey having already lost 20kg, then put back on 5kg. During my time with Miyagi, I have lost a further 3kg...i didnt hit my target of -10kg but I now have the tools to do this. Thank you so much Laura and Zennia for being amazingly supportive coaches
I found this program was great my coach Alicia was wondering gave me great information help me with ideas and was easy to speak to every week .I loved that you speak every week to keep you on track
I liked the fact that there isn't a set diet and exercise plan "one size fits all" but encouragement and support to achieve goals within the realm of what I find comfortable. The outcome for me has been slow but sustained weight loss through simple changes to my daily routine and cutting back on junk food. During the 26 week period I gradually made the changes and formed habits of daily exercise and a healthier diet without punishing myself with strict rules. I feel much more confident that I can continue with this new lifestyle and still treat myself from time to time without feeling bad about it. Thanks team for your support.

Miyagi uses a scientific, evidence-based approach to health and wellness incorporating the key interrelated principles of mindset, accountability, movement, and nourishment. This is spot on. This coaching program combination coupled with amazing, responsive and friendly coaches 🥰 (Lindsey and Sanchia) enabled me to: - develop healthier, mindful eating habits; - gain insights to the effects of menopause [and trauma] on the body and mind; and - learn new ways of exercising. Ps. I now have a penchant for resistance bands. 😁 The support through the Facebook space was inspirational and motivational. I enjoyed the opportunity to congratulate others' achievements as well as receive feedback on my posts. The Miyagi app and Members Lounge had all the tips and advice to keep me moving forward. Despite an injury and illness or two during my 26 weeks, I have gained the knowledge and skills to make healthy lifestyle choices now and in the future. Although I will miss my coaching sessions and the encouragement and support from other Miyagi members, life is looking up. Thank you!
I am leaving the Miyagi program with a better understanding on how to balance my diet, exercise goals and lifestyle. I feel I am better equipped to control my weight and to cope with the times when life gets busy and I don't meet my goals, I can just get back on track and move forward.

My experience with Miyagi was really positive. I mainly joined because I'm Diabetic and I wanted to get my blood sugar under control and I have done that and lost almost 10kg in the process. The best thing I learned through Miyagi was to change my bad habit. I completely changed my diet, and started drinking lots of water, I got a fitbit and started counting my steps each day and monitoring my sleep patterns. The weight seemed to drop slowly, but it kept dropping, and I just get the feeling that I wont put it back on and I feel real confident that I wont go back to my old bad habits because I plan to keep my sugar levels under control, so the weight will keep dropping till I reach my ideal weight and that's my new goal, to get below 80kg and to stay there. Thanks Miyagi, you really changed my life for the better.
I have had a successful experience thus far with Miyagi. I have certainly made sure I got the results I needed and committed myself to the program. I found a new love for food and acceptance of my bad habits that contributed to weight gain. I have lost a good amount of weight have wonderful energy and have certainly built up my level of fitness. I can see myself continuing even after the calls stop. The only set back is that I don't have anyone guiding me in person. That would be my only negative.
I have spent my whole life struggling with my weight and food, but here I have learnt a better relationship with food, I now have all the tools to change my lifestyle for a better healtier me. I understand food better and appreciate the connection exercise has to a better me. I have loved every minute of my time with Katie who has gently lead me in the right direction and to Miyagi for the recipes, and all the other info in the members lounge. I would recomend this programme to any one who wants to make a new better life style for themselves.
