Excellent, professional service. Discussed a problem with their technical team which I had encountered that I thought was a problem with my Zappi. They explained everything about what my Zappi system could and couldn’t do so I took them at their word and looked for another source of my problem. I eventually found the cause which was nothing to do with my Zappi.
Tom was fantastic - clear, informed and patient. My Zappi had been installed 3 years ago, and following a firmware upgrade to the current version was not charging the car as the Grid CT was lost. A remote access change by Tom sorted the issue in minutes. First class customer service!
If the charger works...happy days. But when it doesn't....not good at all. Have an intermitent "lock failure" issue on my Zappy since August. At first they changed the connector but left the solenoid untouched which even the service guys said is strange as they should change it together. But for some reason the charger was fine for 1 month or so after. In October it started again. Beside them not changing the right part to begin with, now I am waiting for 3 weeks so they can send out the part and after that they can book in somebody to come and swap it. How on Earth is 1 month waiting acceptable when your product doen't work properly? There seems no urgency in responding or solving the issue. I bought this charger as I thought is the better choice compared with others...but kind of regret it now.
My eddi was disconnected from the wifi due to change of modem and I couldn't get it reconnected. I emailed in for assistance on a bank holiday weekend not expecting to get a reply until after the weekend. Got a reply immediately and call scheculed for Bank holiday Monday. Fiona called and had my wifi up and running in minutes. Customer Service is excellent. Thank you Fiona
UPDATE Situation now resolved and hence increasing the star rating. Much better Very poor communication. Called and tried to speak to the agent dealing with my faulty zappi and you cannot get hold of them. The agent I spoke to said he was not allowed to transfer my call and that it was not possible to contact customer service by phone. He was also not able to log a complaint Update I called back and this time the agent (not James) was very helpful and situation resolved. Thank you Tom. Great customer support. Have had to call them twice after the online help didn’t work. Their humans are great - friendly, helpful and extremely patient. So refreshing compared to the endlessly frustrating chatbot ‘conversations’ we’re mostly subjected to these days.

Called to enquire about reconnecting my charger to the Wi-Fi. Was promised a call back that came when they said it would and they were able to talk me through everything to get me back up and running in a few minutes. Why can’t everything be as quick and easy as this?
I had a problem with my energi App and updating myeddie controller and Sam rang back the following day I asked for help. He was easy to understand, patient, pleasant and soon solved the problem over the phone. The technology is great and the back up just as good, well done myenergi
Excellent technical support; really clear and helpful. The charger itself is a little complex but it does absolutely everything you could possibly want. Installation was fast and unobtrusive using a Harvi to sense mains current was really convenient with no wires to run to the meter.
I emailed customer support with an issue I was having with the myenergi App. My email was replied to and the issue fixed very quickly.
After over a week of waiting I am still waiting for a proper response from Myenergi on a Zappi charger failure. After calling customer support I was told that, after all this time, I am still way down at 35th in the queue! The malfunction is the same one that I experienced soon after the installation – the Zappi charger displays an incorrect message 'EV is Preventing Charging'. However the EV charges fine at commercial chargers, at a significant extra cost (which I am awaiting a reimbursement response from MyEnergi). Delayed Myenergi response = increased cost + inconvenience to the customer. When the Zappi works it is good, however when it malfunctions (I understand that Zappi has a high unit failure rate) it seems that the MyEnergi support cannot cope with all the failures, My charger installer has been trying to help and is similarly unimpressed with Myenergi and their failure to respond. In summary my experience so far says avoid the crappy Zappi until Myenergi sort out their build quality and customer support issues. P.S. Lots of 5* reviews on this site are mostly about fixing software, not the more impactful unit failures. Allegedly ‘John Cullum 1 review' had his Zappi charger fixed straight away on 18 October...
I am most impressed by the enthusiasm and helpfulness of all at Myenergi. I have a Zappi and Eddi plus Solar and battery. Everytime I have a problem or question, they respond quickly by phone or email and actively chase a solution. Having had a issue with the display of data from my Eddi on the app, Sam phoned me up today and took me through the factory reset of my Eddi and getting me back on line. He was patient, easy to understand and incredibly helpful. All now fixed. Well done all at Myenergi.
Had an error fault come up on my Zappi charger. Customer service arranged a replacement unit to be sent out and an engineer come to fit it on the agreed day. Very happy with the level of service received.
Had an issue with set up that was preventing me from switching to Octopus Go Intelligent Energi. A great guy from MyEnergi was able to sort it out via phone in one go. Awesome customer service, which is rare these days but much appreciated, thank you!
The Zappi's configuration is not intuitive and made more complicated by Myenergi's use of their buzzwords (jargon). Different configuration sections seem to need either the app, the device or the web which adds to the confusion. I tried to find a way of not using solar pv generation since at present its 'cost' (my export payment per unit) is higher than my off peak electricity cost. Sadly this appears to be a situation the Zappi cannot deal with. When I tried to find simple instructions for basic configuration there doesn't appear to be anything available.
Akrum has been invaluable in my learning experience of dealing with installations and helping remotely. This company has no negatives at all which is amazing.
I had an awesome experience with Sam. I had bought a new phone and hadn’t realised it would affect my Zappi’s connection with my WiFi I got sent written instructions to follow but it just wasn’t happening for me. So Sam got in touch and guided me through the procedure. He was professional, friendly and patient. He sorted out my (self made) problem within 20 minutes. Sam is an asset to Myenergy. I highly recommend Myenergy five star service.
Had Sam the tech adviser ring me up as I was having issues after I changed my broadband and I was able to reconnect the WI-FI bit myself but got a little confused when thinking I would update the firmware and then I messed up the configuration between the Eddi and zappi and lost the solar app Sam quickly solved the issue promptly. Supplied all the info required and remotely made the corrections needed. All now working as expected and very happy with the support and communication. Highly recommend.

Oct 30,2024Somewhat slow in responding on occasions, but problems always do get fixed. Web enquiry form has problems (programmers never seem to use what they create - theory may be fine, practicality is different).
