I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the misleading sales practices I encountered with onecom. As a customer whose English is a second language, I felt particularly vulnerable during the sales call, and I believe I was taken advantage of by the sales representative Mr. Luke Odenwalder. During the sales call, the representative repeatedly and clearly mislead me in to the contract. I disputed this matter through the third-party ombudsman, providing the recording of the conversation as evidence. Despite the clear misrepresentation, the ombudsman sided with Onecom. I find this decision profoundly unfair and disheartening. It undermines my trust in Onecom and in the fairness of consumer protection mechanisms in the UK. Moreover, I have reason to believe that Onecom is deliberately hiding a recording of another call where I was explicitly misled. This omission further demonstrates a lack of transparency and honesty in dealing with my case.

Jun 03,2024I have just a very positive experience chatting on line to Samuel, assistant at onecon who helped me very quickly to establish the IMEI number of my mobile who has been stolen recently . With this information I am now able to go back to the insurers and pursue my claim. The request was dealt with efficiency and courtesy and I am very pleased and grateful, even more so considering that I am not currently a customer of onecon, which for all sorts of reasons I had to leave.
