I can not provide any comments for those who had negative experience. I had certainly a good time. This was far better than many other airlines playing around with you. I travel average 75-100 times a year, I felt very comfortable. Yes , the confirmation should be provided to passengers quickly, and certainly at the time of payment rather than asking them to wait. This change in system will help in gaining right confidence .

Mannn - this website is ducks nuts - got an upgrade to PE and BC from Syd -Ho Chi Min city on Vietnam Airlines for $250AUD. It works and it’s great - Vietnam Airlines is a great Cartier as well - highly recommend

I was upgraded to business. My experience was great. It was easy to use and my enquiries were answered. Fingers crossed my next up grade is approved! Recommend

I used Optiontown a number of times and always have been upgraded. Recently from Bangkok to Ho Chi Min City (HCMC) HCMC to Hanoi and Hanoi to Bangkok. On the HCMC to Hanoi I only received my business class boarding ticket just prior to boarding. That was OK as they had told me, when checking in, that they had to confirm the availability of business class seats. I find the service very good but it can be a little stressful if you do not have access to the internet whilst travelling near to your departure time and you have not received your

Flew to Vietnam War with Vietnam War airlines and had some issues with with our upgrade on the way home when ch Optiontown I were able to resolve for us in a timely matter. Would use again

Breach of Data Privacy laws. In cooperation with Vietnam Airlines, Optiontown scrapes guest and flight booking data prior to being engaged. Illegal. Submitting formal complaint for investigation

I communicated with Optiontown last January asking to upgrade my return tickets on Egypt Air Toronto/Cairo/Toronto. The trip on February 25. I paid the requested fees to Optiontime immediately. Three days before the departure from Toronto Optiontime asked me to pay extra charges for the upgrade with an explanation they have a mistake in calculating the upgrade fees. I paid the extra charge. Before few hours from the departure, I received a regret message that Optiontime is not able to make the upgrade, and I will get my money back within 5 working days. I received back the original money and still todate I didn't receive the extra money i paid. Made many complaints with no positive result.

Requested and paid for an upgrade with Vietnam Airlines. Got the confirmation email stating that I had been accepted. Arrived at the airport and told that business was full. I should have been refunded 15 days ago still waiting. I have now contacted my credit card company (Barclaycard) to arrange a charge back. If your is a similar situation lodge the charge back with your card company.

Flew to Dehli and Amritsar chose optiontown with Air India and a Dreamliner,my partner and I got upgraded to first class from Dehli to Amritsar fantastic,then when we came home to uk we got upgraded again to first class Dehli to the London Heathrow,fantastic and an 11 hour flight absolutely brilliant..and the cost for both of us was approx £270 unbelievable....You need to ask at the gate if optiontown is available..Thank you Air India.We had the most memorable experience of India and then the icing on the cake first class with Air India..........Peter..

2 stars because it started off well but has now become a big mess. I originally paid for the 2 empty seat option but as I checked the flight I could see that the plane was filling fast so changed to a premium economy upgrade. First flight went well and I had my seat and was refunded the 2 seat option. On my return flight a completely different matter. I again recieved the upgrade approval. First short leg I hadn't paid to upgrade and at checkin was told I'd have to wait till I arrived in HCM City and then see the transfer desk there. I knew there was only 6 seat left in PE so realised with only an hour and a half stopover I was unlikely to get the upgrade. Why it couldn't have been done at my checkin I don't know as normally they do all your boarding passes there. Anyway at HCM City upgraded had all gone so I was in economy for that flight and told by the Vietnam Air rep that I would be refunded. About 5 days later I did get a refund but only for the 2 seat option that I had originally paid for. I had gotten an email telling that option was unavailable and I would be refunded. It is now almost a month later and even though I have emailed them my boarding pass as proof my upgrade didnt happen I am still awaiting my refund. I've called them and emailed them but still no refund. I told them in my last email that unless I receive the refund by tomorrows date I would lodge a credit card dispute transaction. Return email from them said I was now a priority and would be refunded shortly. Their time is up tomorrow. UPDATE: My refund came in today finally! And then the very next day they took the money back in an unauthorised transaction. So they have basically stolen from me now. I'm lodging a transaction dispute woth my card provider now. Do not give these people your credit card details as they are nothing but thieves

Fraudulent thieves be aware this company is under investigation by the FBI .Many have been scammed stay away . The call center is a hoax and they do not reply or call you back . I lost 200 USD and a perfectly good ticket that is now unusable . Internet scam company . Please contact your local or international branch of the FBI and report your dealings to them ASAP

Steer clear of optiontown. No Upgrade and no refund as promised. Its the old story that if it seems too good to be true it probably is. Promised a refund within 5 days of failing to get an upgrade and that didn't happen so now in a battle to get my money back.

Avoid. When airlines cancel the flights, your refund will not be forthcoming. On occasions such as ours, the flight was cancelled. This is apparently beyond the capabilities of the company to handle and have escalated the matter to the “Senior management” to authorise a refund. Not sure who they are but when asked, the agents don’t know either! Several calls have resulted in a constant “we will get back to you in 48 hours”. Not once has this been kept to. I’m sorry to say I’ve just taken legal advice on this company and would thoroughly recommend avoiding. The enticement of bulk discount is not worth the hassle.

Booked a flight and received a confirmation. At the airport, was refused as no message from Option Town. No refund even after 15 days. Unable to reach their call centre (+9111 45224444). All I get is some crap music. Never book and don't know why Air India has signed up with them for upgrades.

This is a further review following an earlier one which related to failed upgraded flights from Muscat-KL. I stated at the time that the software allowed me to proceed with an upgrade request even though I had checked in and on arriving at the airport Oman Air said upgrades are not possible after check in! Therefore Optiontown gets to play with my money which was over $1000 for 5 days. The money was refunded I’m pleased to say but the exchange rate was brutal.

This is the worst experience I ever had. My upgrade confirmation came after we have landed at our destination. There is no response from there side. Only automatic emails in return. I have no hope for this company

Absolument nul : retard dans les réponses, n'apportent aucune solution. Je me suis faite avoir en achetant le PASS AIR FRANCE, mais vous n'êtes pas chez AIR FRANCE. Alors n'attendez pas d'aide de leur part, ce n'est pas qui gèrent. Un seul conseil, n'achetez pas cet abonnement. Ils vous font croire que c'est flexible, mais dans la réalité c'est impossible.
