Final update. If Scott had been here first time around I would have given a 5 star review. Shaun, the original operative, only merited 2 stars, the handling of my complaint was really good, and Scott has now cleaned the ovens properly. Second update: I am really appreciative of the way this has been handled and am hoping to be a happy customer on Thursday! UPDATE I have sent emails with photos through to them. I've just spoken to a very helpful person on the phone and she agrees that the clean is unacceptably poor. My understanding is that it will be recleaned at no cost to me, and by a different operative. I will update and revisit my score when this happens. Firstly, and probably least important, I don't really like the sight of "builder's bums", and this chap showed his off every time he bent over. Aside from that, and I have photos, the glass on all the doors has cleaner residue on it. The inside of the main oven still has burnt grease in it (especially on the roof) and you can see (and feel) that the cleaner hasn't been properly removed. When he was clearing up, in spite of me asking for it to go elsewhere, he poured the dirty cleaning water over the block pavers on our drive. He told me that the staining would wash away when it rains (there is no rain in our forecast for at least 10 days). He also left bits of scraped off grease on the kitchen floor. I genuinely don't feel that this was £80 well spent and I wish I hadn't paid in advance because I would have done a better job. I would like to be contacted so that I can have a partial refund, and I have taken photos which illustrate why I'm unhappy with the work.
Agent arrived on time and did a very good job. Oven and hob now looking very nice. Pleased with the result.
Only giving it one star as I can’t leave none on this site. *Avoid avoid avoid* this company is an absolute joke they take your deposit money and then once you have waited in all day for your confirmed appointment they cancel on you last minute, but hey don’t worry someone then calls and offers you an apology and a new date & a we will promise to make you the first call of the day between 8-10am, nearly 1pm and I’m still sitting here waiting. When you finally get through to customer services they have no idea what’s going on and are clearly reading from scripts. Save yourself the headache and use a professional company, these guys are absolute jokers, I will never ever cross paths with such an incompetent company ever again, I’m very disappointed in myself as I usually read the reviews and let myself down by not doing that
Steve performed a miracle in my kitchen yesterday, the oven had not been professionally cleaned for a long time and it literally sparkles now. Great job, exceeded my expectations. Arrived on time, pleasant, friendly and polite. Kept the work area clean and left no mess. I would not hesitate to recommend OvenSupport. Thank you for doing a great job!
Jim was excellent and did a great job, and will definitely use the service again. 5 weeks ago I booked my oven clean and no one turned up and I was having trouble getting my money back. This situation for me has turned out OK but needs to be rectified as I am apprehensive about booking again based on the customer service side of things not the quality of the clean.
OX16 Kieran was very polite and professional. My oven was embarrassingly filthy and he made it look absolutely beautiful and clean. I can’t express enough how happy I am with the results and the service I received. Thank you!!!
DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere On January 16, 2025, the BBC's Watchdog program investigated the oven cleaning service "Oven Support," and the investigation aired on The One Show. I didn't find the above information out until now. After them taking my money, calling constantly on the lead up to the appointment making sure you will be in and finally an hour before the appointment they cancel. This has now happened on numerous occasions. Please avoid.
On time! Good price good service
The initial clean of the oven and hob was well planned and carried out on time. However, after one day the oven was covered with a light brown soot like debris. I complained and sent pictures and was finally offered a re-clean. This took nearly 4 weeks in which I was unable to use the oven. Again, one day later, the same debris was coating everything so I still could not put uncovered food in it because it had made me ill. A further complaint and a third re-clean seems to have finally put things right. I kept telling the cleaners the debris was coming from the fan, but it wasn’t until the final guy came that he actually took the cover off the fan and cleaned it with product that would not leave any residue! Why on earth not do that in the first place!
This is just a telesales company with classic telesales marketing. As soon as they started using all the telesales tricks I cancelled my order, no mention of them returning my deposit. Avoid at all costs Also they have a fake Trustpilot score on their website.
No a great experience the oven was not cleaned to a very good standard and the guy that attended was rude.
I shouldn’t even be giving it a one star. I requested an oven cleaner, got rescheduled twice a day for three days. Kept being told it’s either because of the route that the timings needed to change to then be called later in the day to say the cleaner couldn’t make it but I was a priority for the following day! Obviously I didn’t get the service
Excellent service and, above all, a very good oven clean. Matt is a good ambassador for the brand.
I booked an oven and extractor fan clean online on Wednesday, 26th March 2025. I took my time with the booking—read through all the terms, including the fine print, and checked the reviews. At the time, they had a 4.2-star rating, which felt decent enough. Every company has a mix of good and bad reviews, so I decided to give them a fair chance. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a mistake. The website guided me to pay a 50% deposit after selecting the service, and from there, I was given access to an online account to track progress and communicate if needed. Sounds professional, right? That illusion didn’t last long. I submitted two tickets through the portal—Ticket #1989 on 26th March, with follow-up messages in the early hours of the 27th, and another ticket, #1990. Nobody replied. Not a single acknowledgment. For a company that boasts about customer service, this was a huge red flag. Feeling uneasy, I decided to call them directly on 27th March at 12:24 the call last for 2 minutes and 54 seconds. I got through to a Sales Rep named Robby who, to his credit, sent me a confirmation email promptly. I also made sure he was aware of key details like free parking and the broken lift in my building. He confirmed I'd get service confirmation on the day. At that point, I was still trying to stay optimistic. Then came Friday, 28th March—just two days before the scheduled appointment. Robby called again, initially to confirm the time slot for Monday, 31st March. But then out of nowhere, he drops a £25 surcharge on me. Excuse me? This charge was never mentioned on the website. It wasn’t brought up during the original booking. Not even during my first call with Robby when we discussed parking and access. Apparently, it was because the technician would have to do part of the job from the van and part inside the flat. Honestly, it just sounded made up! When I pushed back, Robby placed me on hold and came back offering to “knock it down” to a £10 surcharge. Just like that. It felt like the charge was completely arbitrary—like they just say a number and hope you’ll pay it. At that point, I’d had enough and decided to cancel the service altogether. That’s when I was told I’d need to wait 28 days for a refund of my £37.50 deposit. 28 days?! For what reason? We’re three days away from the end of the month, and you’re telling me your accounts team can’t process a simple refund in that time? How is it acceptable to take people’s money instantly but hold onto it for nearly a month when it’s time to return it? There is absolutely no justifiable reason for such a delay—especially not for a small refund like this. At the end of the day, this whole experience felt disjointed, unprofessional, and shady. I went in with good intentions and gave the company a fair shot despite mixed reviews—but now I fully understand the negative feedback. If you’re considering using this company, think twice. The lack of transparency, zero communication on support tickets, surprise charges, and unacceptable refund turnaround time make it crystal clear: customer satisfaction is not their priority.
Alex kept to my instructions, kept me informed, arrived on time and did a great job. I was happy with the price. I would not hesitate to use the company again. I recommend.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The worst company! Please avoid at all costs! They cleaned our oven … to a very very poor standard, it was left very unclean with a white substance all over the oven. They have used chemicals that are too harsh for my oven and have actually ruined the oven door, which means I am going to have to replace it. We gave them a second chance, to come and re clean and they didn’t turn up. I then spoke to a lady on the phone called Sabrina who has the worse customer service I have ever experienced. I never ever give bad reviews but on this occasion I have given them so many chances, I was left with no other choice.
Jonny did a fantastic job on my double oven clean- he came on time, was professional and polite, and did a great job 👍🏼. Thank you!
Very happy with this service, Simon is a magician, worth every penny…… Michael
Rhys was friendly, efficient and punctual. The oven was sparkling at the finish.
