Got through to someone straight away who was very friendly and provided a great service. Within 10 minutes of calling I had received confirmation that someone would be coming out to look at my boiler that day.

Abbie was polite, friendly and efficient. I missed a call from her to book a boiler inspection appointment, I rang back and had the option to ask for a call back rather than hanging on my phone. The call came through quickly and my appointment was booked, no hassle. Thank you.

Good communication, heating engineer called straight away and again when 10 minutes out on the promised day. Engineer talked me through the problem and the fix - and then fixed it! Simples...a pleasant experience!

On 28/09 I reported a leak and went through insurance. This leak meant we had no water, heating and had to keep electricity off. An engineer came same day as scheduled, when he turned up told us he was not insured for trace and access and we had to take the ceiling down ourselves which we did and then call back to arrange for him to come out again to fix the leak. He marked the job as complete and no further action needed to be taken. I chased the company for the next few days and had no updates as they couldn’t get hold of the engineer On 03/10 a second engineer came who told us the issue was not covered by our insurance which was not true, no report was received by the second engineer and they were looking at arranging a third engineer. I stated on multiple occasions we had no electricity, water, heating and nowhere else to stay. I asked repeatedly if we could arrange own trade and claim this back through insurance and the question was avoided until I continued pushing as we were getting nowhere with the insurance company On 04/10 I was finally given approval to go ahead and organise our own trade. I had received quotes the same day and sent over quotes which were repeatedly chased until I finally got approval for the works on 06/10 The leak was fixed on 09/10 It is 18/10 and I am still waiting for them to acknowledge my paid invoices

Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to this link. I have not been able to reply until now. I did, in fact, ring Preferred Management Solutions at the time to have it recorded on Sam's record of the excellent response I had from him. It was excellent customer service. He was very pleasant to speak with, most understanding and extremely efficient in getting someone to come along to attend to my boiler thermostat problem without delay. Sam is a credit to your organisation. It was a surprise however that I had to pay £60 excess which I had no pre-knowledge of and with my previous Emergency Cover company who I only had to call out one over many years did not charge an excess. However, I cannot be so complimentary about the agent who came to attend to the problem. Whilst I was very grateful he came here from Wigan, he was not explanatory at all in the workings of the new thermostat and I had to get advice from another source to demonstrate how to use it.

UW are a Professional company. They always listen to their customers and make every effort to make sure their customer get the best service and end result. I had a few issues I was unhappy with concerning my claim however, the Advisors gave me the space to explain the problem, it was escalated and dealt with promptly. When Ali the engineer arrived to provide a diagnosis for my boiler, he explained the problem clearly and Told me what was required and the next step. He has so much patience. I have dealt with Ali on a few occasions and whenever I need an Engineer he is the person I request. He is very professional, one of the best UW engineer and he always follows up with an update if needed. UW is one of the best companies out there as they provide a personal service and not one where you are talking to a voice message.
