Feb 16,2022Despite several messages, emails and speaking to people I’m no clearer on the progress of my property purchase. My calls are not returned, promises of getting back to me are unfulfilled and emails unanswered. Wait till the ask me for payment. Avoid the Middleton branch for sure

Feb 16,2022I have used Russell & Russell for over 20 years and built a good personal repore with Jill Huges who I’m informed sadly passed away recently! She dealt with numerous sales and purchases for me. I understand that practices evolve and times are very different now but for me I find the personal dealings more favourable. We understand that buying a house takes a long time and COVID (plus Christmas) were serious contributors, but we were rarely kept updated and often had to contact them ourselves numerous times, or even contact someone else for clear information. Won’t be using them again.

Feb 16,2022I engaged Russell & Russell for conveyancing purposes. All paperwork was dealt with efficiently and speedily. My only criticism is in the lack of communication. I found out all information concerning the progress of the sale of the property from my estate agent who was a superb communicator in all steps of the process. This is in no way confined to this firm as I found it to be a fault with all solicitors but I feel that this issue should be addressed.
