They listened carefully to our wishes and planned a wonderful holiday which was beyond our expectations. They even solved a major problem for us when one of our flights was cancelled. Oct 14,2022Francis at Safari Consultants did an excellent job planning on Safari and Beach honeymoon! We didn't have to worry about a thing while traveling. The camps and hotels were perfect and we felt pampered the entire time. There is a lot of work organizing availblity dates across 3 locations (5 if include travel nights) that meet the dates we need and honeymoon expectation level and it was flawless. I definelty recommend this company if planning an once in a lifetime trip.

Oct 14,2022We have received brilliant service from the word go - right from the time we began thinking about going on safari. Nothing has been too much trouble. Staff are very knowledgeable and we were offered lots of alternative suggestions, both for destinations and venues. Those we chose were absolutely brilliant in every way. We had VIP escorts through airports, great transport arrangements, courteous staff and everything worked like clockwork. The information provided by Safari Consultants for each stage of our journey was concise, easy to understand and always accurate. We couldn't fault them.

Oct 12,2022Judy and Ian Marshall 12/10/2022 We have recently returned from yet another fantastic safari holiday arranged for us by Rob Slater of Safari Consultants. This time it featured five different camps in Zimbabwe, a country we had not previously visited. Zimbabwe is noted for its high standards of guiding, and this was borne out by our experiences at all the camps we visited - we were always in the hands of experienced, knowledgeable and hawk-eyed highly-trained guides. Our trip took us from Hwange National Park to Matusadona National Park on the southern shore of Lake Kariba, and then on to Vundu, Kavinga and Tembo Plains, all in the Mana Pools area. The five camps were all different and all first class in every aspect. A major feature of this holiday was the amount of time we spent on boats, on Lake Kariba in the case of Musango, and on the Zambesi in the case of Vundu and Tembo Plains. This mode of transport is rather more relaxing and comfortable than the more usual game drives in a Landcruiser and yet the number of animals and, of course, birds seen from the river and lake is quite remarkable. In fact, a number of the highlights of this holiday were boat-based: breeding colonies of carmine bee-eaters, elephants quietly browsing on tiny islands, fish eagles snatching fish from the water right under our noses and, of course, the wonderful Zambesi sunsets. On the more conventional game drives and walks we saw a good variety of animals - though not, alas, wild dogs - including close encounters with lions, elephants and giraffes, plus a huge variety of birds of all shapes and sizes. Especially memorable were lengthy periods watching lions, including quite small cubs, and elephants enjoying their mud-baths. A source of some hilarity was a sighting of a dozen or so spectacularly ugly marabou storks stomping around in a very muddy pool, catching and squabbling over stranded catfish. This episode provided just some of the thousands of photographs which will remind us of all aspects of our latest wonderful safari experience.

Oct 04,2022This is the second time we’ve used Safari Consultants and once again we were delighted with the trip they put together for us. We were due to travel to Botswana in September 2020, moved (without issue) to 2021 , and finally travelled in 2022. Well worth waiting for as we saw so much game at the 2 camps (Okuti and Kanana) and the service and guides were excellent. We’ll happily use Safari Consultants again as the whole experience, from finding out our preferences, booking and moving our booking forward was very pleasantly and efficiently done. All went without a hitch on the actual trip and we couldn’t have wished for more.

Sep 28,2022I have been a client of SC for years and will not travel to Africa with anyone else. I spent my childhood in South Africa and have made many trips to sub Saharan Africa and Michele still manages to pull something new out of the bag. 3 nights at Nomad Tarangire, 3 nights at Alex Walker's Serian Lamai mobile camp and 4 nights fly camping (a must!) with the Serian team left me sobbing at Kili airport on the way back. The people, the people, the people. The sightings were spectacular, the landscape exquisite but the people were just super special. Professional, knowledgable, attention to detail and above all passionate for what they do and where they do it. Both Tarangire and Lamai showed Tanzania off at its very best. What summed it up was my guide, Hussein, at Lamai who said: "Thank you for coming and spending the time, here in the Serengeti." Put your bum on a plane, your head on a pillow and enjoy the magic that is Africa. It's important on so many levels. And do it with Safari Consultants. You will not be disappointed.

Sep 23,2022The trip was absolutely great with no issues on either the Tamarind or the Kicheche camps. The meals, service and staff were brilliant and everything we could require and more had been thought of in great detail. The guides in particular were exceptional in both their wildlife knowledge and driving skills. They were able to predict the way the animals, particularly the big cats, were going to behave and when we should wait for the action or move on and return later while at the same time manoeuvring their vehicles over what appeared to be unpassable terrain.

They could not have looked after us better from the initial consultation, through to the planning and the organisation required to travel to Africa - paperwork in particular. They really listened to what we were after in terms of experiences and this was reflected in the truly inspiring and outstanding itinerary that they put together for us. Aug 22,2022This was the 4th trip to Africa that Safari Consultants (Michele Seamark) has organised for us. This time there were four of us, and we visited Botswana and Zimbabwe. The combination of four safari camps in two countries - separated by a few days at the Victoria Falls Hotel in Zimbabwe, and followed by 6 days with friends and relatives in Zimbabwe - worked very well. Michele organised what has definitely been one of the best all-round trips to Africa we have made. Thanks so much.

Three days of exploring Cape Town and area against blue skies, spotting three species of whales in Hermanus, history and culture in Johannesburg and the Big 5 and more in Madikwe. Thank you for your advice, flexibility in adapting our itinerary and your ability to anticipate and deal with potential difficulties as they arose.

The 2 safari camps and beach hotel in Kenya were first class. All our admin questions were efficiently dealt with throughout the process. the multiple transfers were smooth, with all staff meeting us at various airfields was punctual, friendly and helpful. It’s been a trip of a lifetime.
